I respect and value your experience tremendously, therefore you will have the ability to answer this...If LE had reason to believe this is a stalking abduction w/ chance that SM might still be alive, how do you think they should handle this? Why couldn't it be either? LE sure makes it look like the search is close to home, but if it's not BM, why can't it be someone Suzanne knew? Or someone who thought they knew Suzanne?
One reason I stopped working in mental health settings (as a consultant), is that a particular patient, once out of inpatient, began stalking me (and not just me, my whole family). I refused to believe it at first, but eventually it became obvious. Fortunately that happened before anything terrible occurred. So "stalker" is a real category and should not be dismissed in this case, unless they have strong evidence that it's someone known to one of the couple, not just BM.
There are no records of any independent searches carried out by the **** fund or the family, that I know of. Not anywhere. That's another oddity of this case.
There are two groups that don't want this in the public eye: LE and the Family.
Second question, if LE believes she has been taken by a known person w/ some mental instability, how might this affect publicity? Could too much attention stress such a person and endanger SM, under assumption she might be a prisoner? It would certainly explain lack of nation wide bolo, IMO.
