Although another Indiana resident has spoken to various media outlets and YouTube channels claiming to have witnessed Barry Morphew’s purportedly violent temper at a construction site there, the source who spoke to CrimeOnline on Friday said they never saw any red flags in Barry’s demeanor.

Missing Suzanne Morphew may have had ‘angst’ about move to Colorado, family friend says [EXCLUSIVE]
We are not allowed to sleuth the guy, for all we know about him, HE may be the one w/ anger issues, JMHO.

Yup, he might. He’s not the one with a missing wife though.

Not necessarily. I download music, ebooks & podcasts into my phone so when I ride out of cellular range these things are not impacted. I have a self charging case and I carry a charging stick if it's a long ride.
I guess we are all different. I am never without my phone. I take it with me on walks or bike rides for my music but also to take photos of the opportunity arises, to connect to my Fitbit gps but mostly for safety if I need to call for help. Even just to text my family or if they need me, they can send a text or call. If I’m out on an hour or two long bike ride and something happens I’d hate to not have that line of communication. As for Suzanne, her daughters were on there way home from a ten hour drive and her husband was out of town. Is I were her I’d most definitely have my phone by my side just in case.

I don't think it would be suspicious if BM's prints were on or even all over the bike. My husband maintains our bikes (oil, air in tires, etc) and whether we are riding together or I am going alone, he often gets the bike out of the garage for me. When people live together, you have to expect that prints and DNA of all occupants and frequent visitors to the home will be everywhere.

I agree, but what if *zero* prints are found on the bike? Not SM's, not BM's, not anyone else's? That would be weird, IMO.

(btw, I'm not saying that's what happened, but I did read a few times that no prints were found on that bike. It has not been verified by LE.)

Respectfully, I was referring to our inability to verify the reliability of that person.

Sure, he could have a grudge, and could be lying.

But we also have a missing woman, and a task force that is obviously looking at one man.

So it doesn’t ring false.
IMO we have no evidence that the task force is only looking at one man, I guess I need to catch up on the overnite posts.

If only one person has come forward to say they had a difficult time with him on a job site, that hardly implies that he is combative, difficult, a thief, a bully or even a jerk.
snipped
Depends on how you look at it. I'd feel a lot better if NONE had come forward.

That's possible, but nobody here in Indiana from Hamilton or Madison County have come forward to state that they were swindled by Barry Morphew or that they have some sort of problem with him. If there were bridges burned, somebody would've talked by now.
I would think the police would have questioned all of his clients past and present by now. We don't know if any of them spoke against him because nobody's talking.

Or you could just watch what is going on.

If you think they didn’t follow the abduction playbook, dug up a property that BM worked on, sealed the house, and searched it using crime scene investigators, and that means nothing, then fair enough.

They were looking at Letecia. We knew that. They were looking at Patrick Frazee. We knew that. They are looking at Barry. I know that. I don’t think I’m the only one.

BBM:

I'd be much more interested in hearing from other contractors and employees that worked with/for him.

People tend to put their best face forward with clients, since they're the ones writing the checks.

The fact that people haven't been coming out of the woodwork to talk about what a terrible person he is means nothing to me, though.

I say that because I think this is somebody who routinely projects a false front.

Successful con artists don't take off their masks in public.

Good post. I was about to say something similar. I can’t say for certain Barry’s the main person being looked at BUT like you said, LE dug up a property he worked on. That’s not something minor. I’m pretty sure they aren’t going to do that unless they knew something was under there. I personally believe they found what they were looking for. I also found it interesting that LE Came right out and confirmed the homeowner has nothing to do with the disappearance but they have yet to confirm Barry had nothing to do with it. But Barry told Tyson he was cleared by police. Hmmmm. I think LE is grateful for that video.

Actually, if he has been contracting for 26 years and only has one vocal enemy, he is a really, really unusual contractor IMO

One vocal witness, with one specific account.

I don’t know who the heck you hire, but my people don’t have reviews that involve a “violent temper.”

You're absolutely right.

You're absolutely right. And, if you hired one by accident, they'd be out the door in a flash.

And LE must have a good reason for doing so. BM can read the tea leaves and he is aware of what’s going on. The question is, does he know why LE is zeroed in on him? If he doesn’t, it’s got to be killing him. Guilty or not.

Purely hypothetical question regarding the original FF training in Denver. Could it be as simplistic as BM said he was in Denver for FF training and then had to pivot when LE told him it had been cancelled?

I don't think so. Beginning May 13 when the family (via spokesperson TN) first spoke out, they were consistent that BM was in Denver on the date SM disappeared, period. When asked, TN refused to provide additional details about Sunday's activities.

More than a week later after the story broke, DM was first to publish on May 20 their theory that BM was attending firefighter training for his volunteer position -- citing an unnamed relative. The following day (May 21), both Crimeonline and local media contacted the Fire Chief for confirmation of fire training on Sunday and learned all training was suspended due to COVID19.

Local media has never reported BM was attending fire training, and any MSM to this day that has repeated this theory cites DM. From the mouth of BM, he was working on a landscaping job on Sunday (allegedly, with his wife's blessing).

I’m going to assume BM has been interviewed by LE, perhaps multiple times, with his attorney present. When answering LEs questions would BM be more inclined to ‘sell’ his innocence or be more combative, and take a ‘you can’t prove I did it approach’ ?
