It's been said on here that LE told them not to talk. Even his relatives said that. I don't know why.

I have not seen a link on Websleuths stating BM was told by law enforcement not to talk

I’m guessing whoever started the piece of equipment that night, has already been asked and openly told LE which piece of equipment was running.

MOO someone here speculated reason family silent was due to an LE request. It was just an idea to explain and excuse their silence.

Or they are following LE 's instructions to the T.
This topic has been discussed multiple times. But here we go again. It is doubtful that LE would tell the husband of a missing spouse to refrain from making a public plea for her return. A public plea for her return is NOT impeding an investigation.

There isn’t one to my knowledge. Maybe OP can locate one.

There certainly have been MSM articles that expressed LE requesting the family to not speak. I know the article is in the media thread and it has been discussed ad nauseam. However, it has never been written or reported by MSM that BM has been asked not to.

Here is one.

His mother made him go? Is he a little kid?
TD's video ( the interview with BM) referenced BM's mother moving the truck and it was loud enough that it made BM hard to hear clearly.
And in other videos on his channel, he mentioned BM's mother with him on the day BM appeared to be wet and 'zombie-like' which I took to be cold from digging around-- in or by the river.

As in, very close to his mother and she commands him ?
I really don't want to know.

The wording in the email sent to the church sounded like something a mother would write.
I have to wonder what he's told her ?
And I also wonder why some are so protective of a man who couldn't spare more than 27 seconds for his missing wife.
It's disgusting the small amount of time he had for Suzanne considering he wanted people to think she'd been abducted.
Imo.

Ita.
Neither have I.

If someone has one they need to share it ; or not state it as a fact, but just say it's their "opinion".
This is part of WS that everyone should uphold per TOS.

Me too. I'm slightly concerned that a search of that scale was based solely on what she reported in her interview. Hopefully LE had a lot more which led them to search that site.

Lauren answered the question- neighbor does not remember exactly which night, time was about 11:30 PM.

I am stunned that the neighbor does not remember which night it was. She stated something to the effect that her memory is sharp but my hearing is going’. She knew it was on Mother’s Day weekend. I am not buying it, she knows which night she heard it.

Commit Crime; Avoid Violating Religious Principle?
Posts upthread discussed how some religions seem to foster members living in a rather insular manner from others in the community. That reminded me of an incident years ago that made big news in a small state capital city. A 45-ish y/o man was arrested for shoplifting a bottle of booze. How did that merit print and broadcast coverage?
Well, Dr. X was not only the state director of a state department
(ElHi education? iirc) and member of a religion prohibiting alcohol consumption, he was also a respected member of his congregation, a deacon/elder (or equiv), Sunday school teacher, etc. After the arrest, ppl said - wow, he feared a fellow parishioner seeing him buy liquor & spreading word about it, so he stole the booze instead paying?!? He was so focused on avoiding a blemish on his reputation in church, he committed a crime (albeit a relatively minor one), rather than paying, an he thought no one
would be the wiser, not the store, LE, or his fellow believers.

A parallel w this case? Thinking he'd get away w it, did a man kill his wife as better choice than divorce, viewed harshly if not forbidden by his religion? Did he think himself being beyond reproach or above suspicion? IDK. If true, so sad.
{{{ETA: Seems fellow congregants would find in easier in their hearts to forgive drinking alcohol or a divorce, more so than killing a human, esp'ly spouse. my2 cts}}

I am stunned that the neighbor claims that she does not remember which night it was. She stated something to the effect that ‘her memory is sharp but my hearing is going’. She knew it was on Mother’s Day weekend. She knew it was a huge news story and that LE conducted a large scale search of the property. I am not buying it, she knows which night she heard it.

IMO there are several reasons why she may have withheld this information.

Side note per LS interview;. “SM was seen later than we previously thought”.
Side note; “The neighbor saw a man and a woman”. If this is correct who was at the site?

It's been said on here (just one post up) that the Earth is flat.

Based on the fact that it has been said here, who believes that to be true - that the Earth is flat?

It's also another way to get actual news and information in alot of cases. There are some great youtubers out there and it's a lot of work to research, fact check, book guests, answer emails, etc. Working from home is working, these creators get paid what viewers feel they are worth - it's up to them. MOO
Completely agree. Beats the crap out of people putting out barely-there selfies making millions.
I get a strong vibe that he actually cares.

WOW! Why past tense then? was and is still presumed missing?
In a daily mail article he also said "he is innocent" and at that time Im pretty sure it was not a "criminal investigation". I could be wrong on that, but I thought it was weird. It was in the article with DailyMail quoting a firefighter saying they were waiting for uhhh ya know Barry to get cleared....

I just wondered what question was asked or if that was without prompt.

This must be code for something I'm not privy to, am I correct in that assumption?

No but she's there and knows he is extremely stressed. I see nothing wrong with that.

I do personally. I'm sorry if my dad was going to the gym, I'd be like here's an idea buddy, get 100lbs of flyers and squat with boxes of flyers youre going to pass out. Here's an idea instead of doing pullups why don't do some overhead presses on the way to hang those flyers. Here's a tip, DAD, get your butt to the truck and deadlift boxes out to your truck. Remember to lift with your legs!
