About that Denver job. I've assumed LE validated it, but have always been curious about it. No mention of location, no searches of the site (to our knowledge). No one has ever come forward, even on social media, to say where that job was? What made the local job site worth searching, but not the Denver site? If it was searched, not one news source sniffed it out or knew about it?
That job has had me curious from the git go, @Knox. Maybe he is like Casey Anthony. He swears he has a job there until LE walks him right up to it and lo and behold, he has no job.

Not sure if CM ( Chris from Profiling Evil) is teasing something here or not. He tweeted a short video clip about cell phone analysis from a LE tech guy and put a ton of hashtags regarding SM. Not sure if PE has something upcoming or he’s just trying to get someone’s attention.

Love it! CM is turning up the heat. Letting BM know just how much evidence LE likely have on him. Keep turning up that thermostat boys!! MOO

The weirdest part for me about the interview was that he came in with a handwritten note and didn't say her hair color/age/height etc. So weird

there's been studies done on the impact on families who moved away from extended family to a far away place. The family dynamics can change drastically as can the stressors of new jobs, new schools, few friends.
Isolation from old extended families has been mentioned many times in these studies as having a deleterious effect on domestic relations and domestic violence.
We see this in my state (Florida) as many families are transplants.
Good post! Saw this myself when my family moved across Colorado to a more ritzy resort town, parents divorcing right and left including my own.
Party towns full of youth, physical beauty and atmosphere of fun is hard on marriages

Same. So curious about the Denver job. And BM's drive to the Denver job... which, for some reason, fits a timeline where a body is disposed of in my mind and MOO. :(

Someone earlier had posted a graph. It was a graph showing what a 200-mile radius would look like from where the bike was found. ( the chart was perfect, the concept was ridiculous).

Now what we need is another graph, that shows us approximately a 2 hour and 45 radious from the dug up garage.

PS excellent post by the way @OldCop
Thank you, @Warwick7. :)

Thanks for the reminder that perps are just that stupid. Maybe in his head while creating the alibi, he never thought he would have to explain anything to LE ...

I also have been thinking about his good buddy GD. Nosing around the internet recently, I was reminded that he claimed to work for another Colorado Sheriff Department in his past. Which made me wonder why he was no longer in law enforcement. What a loss, given all his superior knowledge of crime scene investigation & processing.
Whoa!

That, too, but I haven't written about that because there are so many variables it's a useless exercise. I'm sure LE did that first thing because they have all the GPS info etc., but yeah, what the heck was he doing in Denver? Literally, what was he doing each hour he was there?

I think the info about leaving at 5am is an explanation for something else he was really doing.
Maybe he suspects he was caught on camera somewhere.
Or maybe knows someone actually did see him (that may or may not have already come forward to LE).
The excuse that he was setting up for a job to begin the following day is, IMO, a giant load of horsesnot.

Def weird. He just never has, for even one minute, acted like a husband whose beloved wife was missing.

We all assume it was likely GD who first went to the scene when SM was reported missing. But I’m wondering if it could have been this one:
Tim Nelson, 33, said: ‘The Sheriff’s office, they told us none of the fire guys are allowed up there.

‘They can’t keep us out of the forest so that’s what some of the others have done – they set up their own little search party.’

Nelson added: ‘It’s a bad deal you know. They aren’t telling us anything. We got excluded from everything.

‘George [Davis] put together a search team of friends – I was going to go but pretty much all our fire guys are on it so I decided to step away just in case we get something [a fire]. (From a Daily Mail article)

BM said in the LS interview that a friend that was there had tried to stop LE from destroying evidence. This Tim Nelson said he was going to go on the search put together by GD, but decided to step away from it. Was it because he was the one who had the run in with LE? The Fire Chief, Robert Bertram, said that the first he heard that SM was missing was when he got a call from one of his ff’ers on Monday.
Either way, Tim Nelson definitely has a chip on his shoulder. MOO

BM described the bike discovery scene almost in first person, though we know he wasn't back in town until after 9pm. They found the bike Sunday evening, and GD was there on scene, JMO.

IMO, TN is describing sometime Monday forward.

IMO, he was trying to sound all 'Christiany' in an effort to appear as religious as his wife. It didn't work.

Not at all. It backfired in spades.
I guarantee there were folks at their church (both in IN and in CO) going
"what in the world did he just say?!" o_O

I asked at one point if cadaverine could be detected on a vehicle if she was in the dirt. This is a very logical thought in my opinion. Perfect way to hide a body.

I've suspected this scenario for a while now. More so since his near-admission to LS that he was, in fact, operating machinery late Saturday night.

To the members who persist in discussing rumors, please read this.

First of all, rumors are not allowed .. but y'all know this.

If one member posts a rumor and someone responds, the OP and the response get removed. However, there are then responses to responses that appear pages and pages later. ALL responses that are sourced back to that one rumor post get removed. Moderators don't have the luxury of time to edit all the subsequent responses to make sense and retain context in the discussion.

MOO in my scenario, whether BM or a stranger if she is not within 1/2 mile of her home they made tracks for the un-urbanized no camera section of 50 south of Salida.
I’m occasionally wondering if west over Monarch, a familiar place he’d been to closer to areas many hunters like BM flock to around Gunnison... a place he’d maybe knew better than south or towards Denver

I found this interesting too. I dont recall it being stated anywhere what or where the job was. I know construction starts early but anytime around 5AM seems strangely early to start what i assume is a loud construction job. Granted I dont know how far away the job was, so it could have started at a more reasonable time. Is anyone here familiar with construction work? Is starting this early on a weekend normal?
