very good!!!!
And as I've thought in other cases like Fotis D.
I hope LE checks out any remote, wooded property owned by one of his close friends
and/or keeping a watch on those friends.
LE would search any land owned by suspect, but maybe not that which is owned by a friend.
You know, everyone has to bury the family dog sometime and maybe BM asked this way also. wink wink.
But would that friend come forward if he'd had
an obvious beef w/ local LE?
If LE digs up that family dog, they need to also look UNDER the dog. MOO.

Following your point that he was in a paranoid panic, I feel he was desperate to be done disappearing Suzanne before the sun came up. Whatever he did...

That is what pushes me toward crime of passion vs. premeditated which many posters have some good arguments for. It seems like if it was premeditated he would have had a more detailed game plan to avoid detection. Or maybe his own hubris simply got the better of him. MOO

Well, exactly. And BM seems, and has seemed, to be unable to do this one basic thing to help find his wife! Now, BM comes off as an inarticulate and feckless person, for sure, but for God's sake, make a list to read, stand up in front of the press, and do what you have to do to save your wife.

But he has done none of this. I think BM is a very shallow person, not very intelligent, and has been propped up his whole life. When the poop hits the fan, BM looks to others to mop up the mess. He can't manage his way through some fairly simple actions -- he can't even see that he should be DOING certain actions if he truly cared about SM! He doesn't know that he at least should be faking it for the POLICE. This is why he's been so vague -- he can't do what needs to be done because someone else has always done the social/legal/procedural/etiquette stuff for him. I wonder if that's all SM was to him -- the person who smoothed his way, did the boring household stuff, found the friends, raised the kids, delivered sex, etc.
Preach! Im honestly just offended by his behavior, he cant seem to do a single thing to help the case, hes too busy working and buying new trucks. He then complains that he looks bad but takes every opportunity with the media to talk about himself and not SM. I dont understand what is wrong with him, I mean LE has searched his house, they dont appear to be pursuing other suspects, and he cant even pretend to be concerned. It reminds me of Scott Peterson and how he was taking calls from his mistress during his wives vigil (not in anyway implying a mistress exists). Scott at least showed up to the event and attempted to put on a good face (everyone still saw through it but damn man). My greatest concern is obviously for the victim, but it seriously baffles my mind how these guys can keep murdering their wives and then act so confused when they get investigated and also dont realize how horrible they are at lying. If BM was involved I want him nailed to the wall, dont get me wrong, but youd think he was planning this all out he could have looked at the Scott Peterson case or the Christopher Watts case and noted where they went wrong instead of repeating the same cycle. Sorry end of rant, please delete if not allowed

Yes, Barry pursued his dream of becoming a MLB star. If I recall, he was drafted by the Blue Jays and played minor league ball for a couple of years.
BBM:

Indeed, he did!
Thank you for mentioning that failed attempt by BM.
Because if there's one thing that stands out to me time and time again, it's BM's losing qualities.

As evidenced by this instance early in life when he tried to make it in the big leagues. Tried, and FAILED.

Turns out, BM wasn't good enough to play with the big boys.

JMO.

Hubris. I'm starting to think that it might not have occurred to him at all that his story wouldn't be taken at face value by LE, that they might have further questions. I have the idea that he thought he'd present his theory, LE would say, "well of course that's it, Mr. Morphew, have a nice day," and go toddling off to find the mountain lion. Or the bike. Or whoever had her.

MOO

BM runs a landscaping business and has the machinery for heavy hardscaping-type earthmoving and it appears there has been quite a bit of heavy stone work on their property, which I assume BM (or his company) did. I hope LE has acquired satellite imagery or drone photos (if any are available) of the Morphew’s property BEFORE Suzanne disappeared as well as after and looked for any movement of or changes to those stone walls and paths around the edges of the driveway as well as going off from their house into the surrounding grounds.

That half hour or so of running heavy equipment at the construction site BM has worked on might possibly have been to charge equipment for transport to and work at his own place. ETA: Alternatively, it may have been to charge the equipment back up for use on the construction site after having used it at his own place. I wonder if the neighbor who reported the near midnight use of the equipment might remember any sounds indicating the machinery was on at anytime earlier in the evening.

Seems to me a man would use what he knows. MOO.

@Warwick7 i was just reminding everyone to tune in. i cannot share for discussion bc it's unreleased as of right now, but at 8, during their live, it can be shared. (i say maybe someone else can share at that time, bc i am in the EU and will probably be Zzzzz.)

Sounds intriguing! Can't wait to see it.

RIGHT? I dont understand the thought process. Ive never once thought that murder was somehow a better option than breaking up with someone or just removing them from my life, if the situation did arise however, Id like to think Id at least have a plausible story for my whereabouts... and you know it would probably at least be something that people couldnt easily verify was a lie, like a fake training session for example.

Everything is lined up.
One other small point: when a loved one is missing and a person gets a chance to speak about it, the vast majority try to say things that will be concrete and aid in finding the person.

"The last time anyone saw Suzanne was when..."

"Suzanne went for a bike ride every Sunday morning, her bike was X color and X model. Maybe someone saw her? Please call the tip line."

"Suzanne was/was not at online church that Sunday morning, she usually went to church and it was online due to CoVid."

Etc.

Convo with friend ended 8pm ish, SM did not attend church on line around 10:30am.
A time line of around 14 hours.
Only 8 hours from convo end to BMs departure, if correct, at 5am.

Typically she rode in morning before church.

If an assailant drove through - broad daylight abduction.
Cameras are along roads here and there, businesses and rings. The pertinent captures must already be in police hands. Asking everyone else to hang on to their video for the 8th-12th.

That particular police request looks to be to forestall the inevitable 'alternative theory' in court.
But maybe the Stauch case has all police on guard that deceptive criminal things are happening even as they search.

He’s such a clueless, self-centred egomaniac. He tells us, we the public don’t know the truth, which implies he does, but then he fails to tell us the “truth.” He repeatedly lies by omission. He starts sentences and never finishes them, leaving you to wonder what the heck he was going to say and then thought better of? I mean what does, “3 - 30 hours of testimony” even mean? 3 x 30 hrs of interrogation, being 90 hrs of questioning? I’d call that torture and BM doesn’t look like he’s being tortured. Or, is it 3 x 10 hours of interrogation (let’s call it what it is) being 30 hrs of questioning? Speak clearly! Did he or did he not speak with SM Sunday morning? When exactly were the girls expected back, mid Sunday, late Sunday? They were running late. How late? Getting home that night or the next day? WHEN Barry did you last speak to your wife? WHY could you not answer that question plainly without an 8 second pause and then not answer the question? He’s looking for her everyday! WHERE Barry??

Barry DOES know the truth. He just doesn’t want anyone else to know it. Too bad, not sad BM. LE know the truth too and it won’t be long before all of us will too! Tick Tock here comes the lock! Monday, August 31st sounds like a good day to me. JMHO

Exactly.
He would have mentioned it if he had made efforts himself to reach her that day.

It looks to me as if BM completely overlooked the fact that he needed to call her himself that day.

When a husband finds out his wife is missing/unaccounted for and that people are getting "a little worried," there's no plausible excuse for not texting and/or calling her himself.

It's inexplicable.

JMO.

It would be positively bird-brained! His phone calls and messages that day (or lack thereof) will be a plethora of enlightenment to LE.

I wonder who hung the ribbons here in Alexandria?

Good for them.
This woman should not pass from this life so silently.

I saw a friend of the family’s FB last night where they participated in doing this, posting a number of pics from Alexandria.

BBM I wonder which relatives they are referring to in this article. Did they really mean one relative (nephew?) or multiple relatives? MOO
The unnamed relative paid by Daily Mail for erroneous info! From the beginning, "the family" (i.e., TN) cited BM in Denver, period. He refused to expand on that.
