It's a very very long loop.
And a route most likely wouldn't take. Also the area where the bones were found is crazy busy and populated. Lots of traffic, cars, businesses, etc.

More on IN. R/E Transaction
@marylamby TYVM for you thank you.
Earlier threads raised the possibility of developers and other playing 'games' w sham r/e transactions to jack up prices, but I could not see how that would have happened here.
Re bbm below, iirc the county's webpage showed a 'transfer' w Morphews being Grantors and Grantees, but iirc, the field for 'instrument' or document, where it would usu'ly show WD/warranty deed or QC/quit claim deed, etc., showed something like 'land contract' or 'contract for deed.' Recording that doc gives public notice, say, to potential buyers and to title ins.co's, that someone other than the M's have/may have a legal interest in the prop.
Hope that helps clarify some of thefuzzies
re prop transactions.
And a big, big,big thank you goes the sleuthers
who drilled down to get county recorder's info.
My best guess is this is not her.I looked up the location and it’s a highly residential area. On one hand, if someone is skilled with the outdoors and has the equipment BM has this location seems unlikely. On the other hand, if he had any jobs in the area and he felt like his truck being in that area would be discreet than maybe someplace like this is likely.
According to the earlier discussion here on the thread you can have a privately (payed for) administered LDT without LE’s knowledge. You can keep the results for yourself it it didn’t go well, but make a lot of (PR) noice about it if the results are favorableFor the attorneys here, regarding my biggest NG takeaway-would you ask your client to take a polygraph, and never reveal the results if they were less than stellar? It seems to be a smart move if it can be executed. Win-win if it can never be exposed unless you choose it to be.
Disposal of a body by means of immersing it in water has the added "advantage" of being less trackable by specialist dogs, if my memory serves me correctly. My thoughts from early on were the use of equipment, unfortunately

This is interesting. It is reported the remains were found around a new disc golf course that was scheduled to open May 20, 2020......Human Bones Found in Highlands Ranch
NARRATIVE: DOUGLAS COUNTY, CO –Yesterday evening at approximately 5:20 p.m., the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office received a call from a citizen reporting the findings of a human skull and other bone fragments in the 9000-block of S. Broadway in Highlands Ranch. Deputies responded and located the bones described by the caller. The Douglas County Coroner’s Office was also notified and responded to the scene. We will be working in conjunction with the Douglas County Coroner’s Office to determine the cause and manner of death.

Another bit of info on the exact location:This is interesting. It is reported the remains were found around a disc golf course that was scheduled to open May 20, 2020......
Wonder if BM or any of his pals worked on that project?

Using sniffer dogs to detect buried bodies yields better results - different dogs can even identify dead bodies at different stages of decomposition, as the gases emitted from the body change over time. While there are dogs that are used to check out water, the initial scent of a person is lost within half an hour of the body being disposed of in flowing waters.
Something else that occurred to me, and doesn't seem to have been discussed at all, as yet, is the possibility that a corpse could be disposed of in a septic tank/private sewage container. The Morphew home obviously won't be connected to mains drainage. It will certainly have a tank with access for pump-out cleaning. I apologize for this gruesome suggestion. The tanks are full of human waste that emit gases. I have known of 3 cases in the UK where bodies have been placed inside such containers and have been held under the surface by naturally occurring changes inside the tank. It is easy to access these tanks sufficient to place an adult human body inside. The gases given off from the sewage could potentially confuse the trained nose of sniffer dogs, which is what happened in at least one UK case. Routine pumping out of sewage chambers would not result in discovery of a body.
I have faith that LE will have considered this.
Thank you so much for all of this!
I went back to clarify a few things but it was too late to edit.
You're correct about everything.
The only other thing I wasn't clear about was if a seller sells to a family member, that family member would simply xfer the deed back to them at the same price and then he could sell it at the higher price later.
That's not the case here, as you say, as it WAS their previous IN residence that is at issue. My bad!
I'd found the sale, from a year ago, on a RE site but now I see it was the sale/xfer from both Morphews back to both Morphews (??).
And yes, I misspoke when I stated POA instead of guardianship. I need to shut up! The more I learn the more I smh (at myself!).
Excellent info, @al66pine, thanks again for going to such trouble!
Much appreciated.![]()

Yes, and thanks @ swedeheart said: ↑ for the link.Thx, Swede, you're really on top of this!
It was a 9 acre home/ farm in upper Michigan (aka the middle of nowhere)
I knew about the septic tank. I just hate thinking about it. It sends chills down my spine. Those run off pools of water at feedlots will do the same thing.Disposal of a body by means of immersing it in water has the added "advantage" of being less trackable by specialist dogs, if my memory serves me correctly.

I'm confused. What's the new evidence? Secret camera? What am I missing?![]()
I heard nothing new. I actually wondered if this was an older podcast if not for LS discussing her recent phone interview with BM. Guess the secret camera was TD ? JMOI'm confused. What's the new evidence? Secret camera? What am I missing?![]()

In western Washington in late May 2020, two very experienced bikers (both men in their early 30's) were stalked and attacked by a male cougar when they were biking on a remote dirt road outside North Bend (20 or so miles outside Seattle). When the men realized they were being stalked, they got off their bikes, made noise, and attempted to look larger and threatening. One of them shook his bike at the cougar and the cougar appeared to leave; however, the cat circled back and pounced, taking one of the two men's head in its jaws and shaking him violently. The other man dropped his bike and ran. The cougar dropped the first man and chased and attacked the other. The first man got on his bike, and rode 2 miles away to get cellphone coverage where he could summon help.
Investigators working with dogs found that the cougar had dragged the second victim into his den and severely mauled and killed him (with injuries to face, neck, head, and leg). The dogs treed the cougar so the investigators could remove the deceased victim, and the cougar was shot. Wildlife officials say there was something wrong with the animal; it was emaciated and its behavior was very unusual. A brain necropsy was to be performed to determine if it was sick.
It was nearly a century between this attack and the last cougar attack upon a human in Washington; however, intense and highly dense development has moved human populations into territory occupied by the animals.
In my own neighborhood outside of Seattle, cougars are occasionally seen in a large natural park area that is located adjacent to our and other housing developments. Residents are encouraged to keep domestic cats inside and dogs close by as those permitted to run loose often simply disappear. In my own neighborhood, residents have posted photos of bobcats and cougars in their yards in the early morning or at dusk. Bears regularly visit on the night garbage bins are placed at the curb for pickup early the next morning.
