Rumors are not allowed. "Word on the street", Plunder and reddit are NOT approved sources. OP and all responses stemming from it have been removed.

You folks know that posting rumors is a violation of TOS so be prepared for temporary or permanent loss of posting privileges if it happens again.

Moderators and Admins are very busy and we get very tired of having to say the same things over and over again when every single member is responsible for familiarizing themselves with TOS and posting appropriately.

To the members who persist in discussing rumors, please read this.

First of all, rumors are not allowed .. but y'all know this.

If one member posts a rumor and someone responds, the OP and the response get removed. However, there are then responses to responses that appear pages and pages later. ALL responses that are sourced back to that one rumor post get removed. Moderators don't have the luxury of time to edit all the subsequent responses to make sense and retain context in the discussion.

Did anybody catch what the brother said when it cut out or blacked out, something something and all fingers came back pointing at B?

  • #24
Did SM brother actually say that Barry told him when the neighbor checked both cars were in the garage so he sent her back to look for the bike? In the garage?

BM's alibi is very very fuzzy and shifty. I'm sure it must appear fuzzy and shifty since the Denver firefighting training fizzled out. I hope that his buddy is also noticing how fuzzy-in-a-not-cuddly way this alibi has become. :( MOO.
Yeah, first it’s firefighter training in Denver, then a job in Denver and now it’s a job in Colorado Springs. I wonder if he’s got another story floating around out there. Wouldn’t surprise me in the least bit. MOO

The more stories, the merrier. :(

“The mountain lion called and demanded a ransom.”

If Barry did in fact sit down for 30 hours of interviews, I can’t imagine the damage he inflicted upon himself.

“Where were you?” Is not a difficult question.

Finally! I've been waiting for a justified hotel charge to surface. Sounds like several days surfaced.
Me too! There should be a reservation showing he planned to stay at the hotel. MOO

Did anybody catch what the brother said when it cut out or blacked out, something something and all fingers came back pointing at B?
I caught that as well. I think they had to block out what the brother said. Something like everything pointed back to Barry. MOO

Did SM brother actually say that Barry told him when the neighbor checked both cars were in the garage so he sent her back to look for the bike? In the garage?
The neighbor went and checked the cars and then went back home to her land line and called BM. BM then told her to go back and check for the bike. MOO

LMAO and i mean would 3, 30 hour interviews even be necessary if BM would agree to a polygraph? I mean he seems to be having memory issues so maybe it could help him sort out what actually happened and I mean any loving husband with nothing to hide obviously want to help the police clear him so they can focus on finding the real bad guy right? or the mysterious druggie ex coworker, or the worlds stealthiest mountain lion, or whomever blame is been thrown at today

BBM LOL :D
We can now see why the sheriff called in the CBI and FBI. Barry was incapable of providing answers to simple questions. MOO
I found it interesting that the brother said BM was there at around 6pm. BM has been saying 9pm. It’s gotta be tough for BM to keep his lies straight. MOO

If Suzanne's dad was ill, she may have wanted to move back home? There may have been disagreement and tension there, especially as the pandemic made seeing people and traveling more difficult. :( I don't know how sustainable the Colorado life was for them, or whether Suzanne felt alone or cut off from old church communities and the friends with which she raised her daughters. I keep thinking this pandemic has made many of us more eager to be close to our parents, especially if we have loving relationships.
Yep, made me pack up and jump in my car to go from TX to PA for my mom. Which is why I’m 30 some pages behind. But I’m here for my family! I feel that Suzanne would want to do the same.

In the new interview with SM's brother Andy, Andy says that when he arrived to help in the search, he had BM tell him everything that was going on. BM told Andy that he had left the house at 5 a.m. and left SM asleep, and went to his job in COLORADO SPRINGS, where he and his crew were to start redoing a glass wall that had been badly done by them last year. He mentioned to Andy that he had told LE that on that job last year, he had had to fire a worker on the spot. BM had seen that ex-employee in Salida several times and had warned him to not mess with his family.
In the last sentence--BM alibi building....blaming a fired employee.

odd that its 3 months into SM's disappearance and hes just now mentioning a disgruntled ex employee

Yeah. I’ve thought that maybe she learned of an affair, or they had an argument related to finances.

I think something big happened, perhaps something that had never happened before.
Yay!!!! Happy you are back! Completely agree.

PE guys are on live now:

They're teasing brand new information they'll be talking about at the end of their program tonight.

We're going to need someone to transcribe the entire show in real-time.

I nominate @MassGuy to do the honors.

Chop-chop!!!

One of the many things that struck me listening to SM's brother was the discrepancy between how BM described his conversations with the neighbor to her brother vs. how he described them to TD.

He seemed to minimize his role in the convos with the neighbor in the TD video.
Much more emphasis was placed on the daughters.
It was the daughters who got concerned when they couldn't reach their mother.
It was the daughters who called the neighbor and asked her to go check on SM.

But with SM's brother, he wanted to come across as really taking charge of the situation.
He tells her brother he tried to reach Suzanne by both text and phone.
He makes it sound as though he was the driving force behind getting the neighbor to go check out the house, not just once, but twice.

It appears that BM modifies his narrative depending on his audience.

JMO.

Been waiting for this one, absolutely knew it was coming. It's a little late that it wasn't in the lion, accident, total stranger abduction scenario.

I am to believe you have a $1.5 million dollar house with a security system already in place , and are worried enough to warn this character not to mess with your family SEVERAL TIMES, but you don't bother to fix the cameras already in place on a high end security system?

So Barry...what made you think this person would mess with your family? If you took this threat seriously enough to warn them several times did you ever file complaint ? Did you warn your family(?) , seems if you were so alarmed, that would have been a given, so they could be aware. Were your daughters on edge, was Suzanne (?), they sure should have been....any family would have been. Did you warn the 80 year old neighbor before sending her in to search your house twice? Do you still think it was a good idea for you not to make the call, since you had this personal knowledge?
I have no doubt he has other backup stories in case this one falls through. I certainly hope LE has investigated this claim. And I doubt he filed a complaint because I doubt the warning of this person ever took place.

His ever-changing stories definitely provide some interesting and new things to talk about on here. On another note, I’m very impressed with the brother. Despite everything he knows, he still never said anything like “We know BM did this”. In fact he complimented BM’s hunting and outdoor skills. MOO

I just feel compelled to say, if anyone here is in contact with the girls, please ask them to contact their grandpa. And if they dont wish to do so right now, at least let him know they are ok. :( Poor guy could use some kind of peace in his life.

A couple thoughts about Barry’s interview with Lauren Scharf:

Even now, he’s throwing the animal attack scenario out there. Literally no one believes that happened, and it’s stunning that someone with Barry’s knowledge of the outdoors, would still believe this.

Of course, I don’t believe he does. Mountain lions rarely attack people, and don’t kill them and leave absolutely no trace. That area was searched with dogs, drones, and trained searchers, as well as by family and friends.

Barry knows this did not happen, but he thinks it’s to his benefit to convince people it’s a legitimate possibility.

Secondly, Barry is being criticized for not utilizing the media to get the word out about his missing wife; he’s being criticized for his silence. That’s what makes this hilarious:

And, over the phone, Barry said unfair coverage of his wife’s disappearance has painted him in a bad light, and convinced him to stay silent.

So he’s criticized for being silent, and it’s the criticism that’s causing him to remain silent.

Chicken or egg I guess.

Mic drop.... AM also stated BM said when the neighbor went over to check on SM, she saw both Rovers IN THE GARAGE. Ummm, well that’s different than what they reported prior. Last interview they reported the cars not belonging to BM were in the driveway? Anyone have some clarity with this discrepancy?
