Maybe I'm the odd one out..... if my husband had to set up a job on Mothers Day, it wouldn't bother me in the least bit. I know that him being gone pays our bills. I dont need breakfast in bed with flowers and the whole nine yards.... I know my husband loves me and appreciates what I do for our kids. How do you know that SM didn't feel the same way about Mothers day? Ot could have been, oh hubby will be out of town and girls will be gone. We will just pick another day to do Mothers Day celebration. Not everyone's world stops bc its Mothers Day.
Yes, so he was by himself?? And your point about that is what? Normally there is not a whole crew going to set up the jobsite. It is mostly the head guy that gets everything set out and how he wants it ........BEFORE his crew arrives to actually do the job.
And your pfft at the end was really not needed.

While I agree MD isn't a big deal in some families, what we don't know, is if it was to SM (I suspect it was, considering she'd been told she may never be able to have children), and/or if the alleged okay she gave BM to head off to Denver or wherever on Mother's Day, ever really happened.
I also agree that the owner or the jobsite foreman would realistically be on site first, and alone, to set up... if you add in all the other baloney BM wants everyone to believe (and the fact that his story changes depending on who's listening, and the fact that his truck data did not match where he said he was), there's just a whole heck of a lot of red flags that are impossible to ignore.
