"Husband of missing Colorado mom stayed at hotel before she vanished"

Home | Daily Mail Online
What is even happening?! OMG so he didn’t leave the house at 5am while she was sleeping? He stayed in the hotel for 2 days and never visited the job site???? What?! Chlorine? Ok he is so stupid. OMG I don’t even know what to say right now.

I’ve stayed at that hotel in Broomfield! It’s on the way from Denver to Boulder—we were visiting CU.

Husband of missing Colorado mom spent the night before her disappearance at cheap Denver hotel | Daily Mail Online

SABBM:

At the time, her husband Barry was 150 miles away in Broomfield, Colorado - just outside of Denver - working on a landscaping job for transport company RTD-Denver.

Now DailyMail.com can reveal that a co-worker of Barry’s took over his Holiday Inn hotel room on May 10 and found it scattered with wet towels and stinking of chlorine.

Jeff Puckett, 49, of Salida, Colorado, said he was ordered to Denver by Barry that morning but didn’t see him because he had already left ‘due to a family emergency’.

Speaking in an exclusive interview, Puckett told DailyMail.com: ‘I got there Sunday night and the room smelled like chlorine real bad.

‘It was his room and he’d taken a shower – his towels were all over the floor.’

A manager at the $92-a-night property confirmed to DailyMail.com that they do not use chlorine to clean guest rooms and have handed security footage from the weekend of May 9 to police.

Puckett also said he discovered a pile of mail in the room – including a letter about property insurance – and later turned it over to the FBI.

Well, as I've always suspected, there's the motive right there in big, bold red letters:

GREED. "For the love of money is the root of all evil."

Poor Suzanne. She never saw it coming.

I'm glad one of his employees appears to be cooperating with LE.

I knew he was cleaning up at that hotel. Knew it. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬.

BM is absolute toast.

JMO.
oooh - security footage..

It seems like RTD-Denver denying that BM had a job with them will be the next shoe to drop.

  • #466
Possibly he had the room for the 8th and 9th.... not doing any sleeping there on the 9th obviously.

If Suzanne thought he was working up in Denver, he may have ambushed her. Hunter, prey. Putting a hard stop to her social messaging.

Maybe LE and the M’s have been purposely letting the guardianship events proceed as it’s just further building the case against BM.
This is what I think.

Puckett also said he discovered a pile of mail in the room – including a letter about property insurance – and later turned it over to the FBI.

He said: ‘I found some mail in the hotel room. His mail was in there and I gave it to the FBI. I thought it was kind of odd to have it there.

‘Some of it was from an insurance company, like insuring your property, that kind of thing.’

Why would Barry leave important mail in his room?
Did he leave in a hurry?

I really hope LE have eyes on him right now. With this new revelation. Time is up, pal. JMO

DailyMail.com can also reveal Barry was granted guardianship of Suzanne in order to sell a property in their native Indiana on Tuesday after a 30-minute Zoom hearing.

Despite being told the landscaping work was urgent, Puckett told DailyMail.com that he arrived to find no tools and was left to wait around the hotel for two days – never actually visiting the job site.

He said he returned to Salida on the Tuesday after Suzanne disappeared and has not heard from Barry since, although he was paid.

Jeff Puckett (pictured), 49, of Salida, Colorado, said he was ordered to Denver by Barry that morning but didn’t see him because he had already left ‘due to a family emergency’. As a result, he says the experience has left him suspicious. ‘It’s kind of weird,’ he told DailyMail.com

Waiting to see somebody leak security footage of Barry at the hotel. I wonder if Barry is going to change the sleeping Suzanne story to Saturday at 5 am. It also explains the request for all those days of security cameras. I’m off to look at the company Barry worked with, that now has a name. Even if we took everything this guy said with a grain of salt, the case is hot. I guess LE always had this stuff, but it didn’t seem to bother Barry. I hated seeing him with his barbecue sauce and peanut butter. WTH is he making that needs those two ingredients?

Does it have a swimming pool?

Hence the home security cameras “not working.”

Property Insurance letters left in hotel room. Sigh. o_O

BM being out of town that Saturday night also could piece together why SM’s best friend was so panicked when their messaging stopped. If she knew that SM was home alone, and maybe SM sends her a message like ‘oh, a truck just pulled into the driveway. I’m going to check it out and be right back’

then silence. I’d panic too.

He couldn’t have had much sleep. Easy to make little mistakes when you’re tired. Seems like he made some big ones.

I wonder if the property insurance letter wasn’t about a property they currently owned but instead it was a quote for property BM was planning to buy.

Oh my goodness. That would explain a lot.
