His wife is missing and he has time for scavenging roadkill for antlers.

As I understood, correct if wrong, it was there before he returned from Denver as he could not access the house/driveway when he returned.

Am I incorrect in my assumption?

Plumbing traps can hold rings, bones, etc. The hotel room plumbing system must be searched and wouldn't that require a warrant? If L.E. did not search the plumbing traps -I say they did not already know about the room day 1-why then not search? Or could they have? The shower or tub would could require destruction to property to search if a slab. Would a search warrant in Denver be public record ?

BBM:

No.

Based on past experience with other CO cases, all warrants pursuant to the investigation would be sealed until after an arrest was made in the case, charges were filed, and a probable cause hearing was held in a courtroom.

LE absolutely may already have executed a search warrant at that hotel without the public's awareness.

And probably have done so.

We're hearing these stunning revelations for the first time today, but this ain't news to LE.

LE has known all this for some time.

They're just ready to let the public know some of what they know, via thirdhand reporters.

I think we're getting very close to an arrest now.

JMO.

I'm definitely not on team Barry, but I would like to say that every time my husband and I celebrate something with an in room jacuzzi suite, I ALWAYS bring bleach to clean the tub - mostly because I don't trust how someone else cleans something, and let's face it, some people are gross

Most pools across the country were still closed on May 9-10. As were hotel dining rooms, take-out only. Things were quiet in my area. I don't know about Denver....
Ha! Yea there’s that too!

Just read this on Facebook. He’s going to say the room smells like bleach because he disinfected it because of Covid
Maybe if he had mentioned that earlier....anyway you don't just go pouring full strength clorox around a room. And what, spread it with towels? Why wasn't the chlorine still there for his employee to make use of? Would Barry want to come back to a hotel room to work with a new guy who wasn't disinfected?

DailyMail.com can reveal that a co-worker of Barry’s took over his Holiday Inn hotel room (pictured) on May 10 and found it scattered with wet towels and stinking of chlorine. A manager confirmed to DailyMail.com that they do not use chlorine to clean guest rooms

When BM reads the Daily Mail article, of all the details that bother him, "cheap hotel" will be one of them. Moo

we need Lauren or the @ProfilingEvil guys to call this guy and get the specifics - the way I read it, he found all that stuff in the room, and stayed there until Tuesday and that day turned it over to LE. I'm sure he heard she was missing since BM told him he had to leave the hotel room for a family emergency
JMO
I was hoping Lauren was already tracking him down.

The DM says Broomfield so it would be this one.
Holiday Inn Express and Suites Broomfield

Didn’t BM tell LS in his interview that he was bringing tools into the hotel room to prep for the job? Sounds to me like BM setting up a possible explanation for bringing many “things” - concealed into the hotel room. In case he was seen or caught on camera. IMO
BM has been stingy with details! He did not tell LS about the tools in the hotel room. This info came from AM. BM allegedly told him he had a job in CoSpgs and that he took/left tools to the hotel room for his work crew.

The Broomfield Holiday Inn does have a gym, spa and indoor pool.
but were they open given COVID? We were pretty much totally shut down in Michigan at that time, but id have no idea about CO

It doesn't make sense to me. Why would the hotel staff allow someone to check into a room that had not been cleaned and the towels replaced? How does that explain the sudden end to the conversation Suzanne was having with her friend if Barry was 2 1/2 hour away in a hotel room? Why would Barry do all that driving back and forth and never show up at the jobsite knowing his alibi could be easily confirmed by LE?

Did he bring Suzanne with him to the hotel on Saturday night?

The hotel probably had no idea of the exchange. The room was probably rented for X amount of days and maybe Barry left the room key somewhere or the employee told the front desk he lost the key and was able to get a new one. He does resemble Barry, IMO. I’m sure nobody actually checked out of the room - there was prob do not disturb signs on the door.

I didn’t hear about the sudden conversation with her friend, but perhaps it was actually Barry who was texting or maybe he did take her with him? Do you happen to have a link about the texting?

Our Governor deemed hotels essential businesses so they were not closed during Stay at Home orders.

Ah yes, the rock solid explanation of BM driving to a hotel 3 hours away and disinfecting COVID with bleach, only to leave out dirty towels for his coworker that is showing up later for a job that doesn’t exist with no tools, and BM isn’t even staying there that night. Makes perfect sense.

I think BM might want to consider saying that he’s being framed by that mountain lion, who followed him to Broomfield, covered the bathroom in bleach and then stole his tools.

sorry one more, was social distancing being enforced at all? and also THANK you

Did the employee have to get a key from the front desk or did Barry leave it somewhere for him? I am assuming Barry rented the room for X amount of days, for himself or crew, and then handed it off in some way to the worker.
Yeah, he must have given him permission to stay there. I wonder why he would leave incriminating evidence behind. It sounds like his alibi didn't add up at all. I don't know why LE wouldn't have arrested him. Megan Boswell was charged with lying to investigators and it took months before she was charged with murder.

This may have been mentioned already, thread is flying too fast for me to catch everything.

This statement, even if there was nothing nefarious that happened in that hotel room. Say, it just happened to smell like chlorine due to extra cleaning measures because of Covid. Why would Barry take a shower if he had just left his house at 5am that day?

Speaking in an exclusive interview, Puckett told DailyMail.com: ‘I got there Sunday night and the room smelled like chlorine real bad.

‘It was his room and he’d taken a shower – his towels were all over the floor.’

LE did say they conducted about ten searches in other locations. It really seems like all this news is coming out in order to put pressure on Barry. If they can't find a body they may need a confession.

Between all this news and the publicity the upcoming search is getting, Barry really must be pacing the floors, now.

If he's on security cameras, wonder if the clothes that he's wearing have been located. Maybe they were bleached as well. Moo
