Isn’t LS’s interview with JP airing tonight?

I think it will be very interesting, as well.

Next member to be judgmental of, cast aspersions at, or disparage JP in any fashion will receive a 2 week Websleuths vacation.

Keep it classy in here.

Did he ever say if the other 2 people were in a different room, or 2 different rooms? Same room?
I’m not sure it was stated, but maybe LS will answer that for us in her interview? I’m interested in those details too!

The wall was on the Interstate.

According to LS on NG

Just reading this, imagine the money spent.

In such cases, once there is an arrest leading to a trial, a guilty verdict, surely any assets the subject may have, need to be confiscated, and legal work proceed, that the money is 'paid back'.
This could be stated, to the POI, perhaps encouraging them to plead guilty.

OK, relatives miss out (wills etc) but is it only taxpayers who must pay this, and the guilty person, is again housed, at taxpayers cost.

Guess this system isn't about to alter.
MOO.
I would hope that SM's shares of proceeds garnered by BM, along with other properties and assets would go to SM's daughters, while BM's shares should go toward LE's costs.
Something tells me he may have other assets which didn't include SM.
LE usually absorbs costs, that I know of. Correct me if I am, as usual, mistaken.
Just thinking about this makes me sick to my stomach.

Nancy: is Barry leading searches? Lauren: not that I know of, Nancy.

I wonder if this is related to Andy and Suzanne's 87 year old father saying (when he was interviewed by PE) something like "our family trusts the CBI and the FBI." He did not mention the CCSO, which begs the question why (although that follow up question was not asked, or at least wasn't addressed in the video presented on PE).
Maybe just an oversight on SM's Dad.

Well praise be. It’s about time.
I'll be the first to admit i am so behind readimg
But he thought he should pick a piece of mail out of the trash and hold onto it until a later date when he would then hand it over to the FBI? Before anyone knew Suzanne was even missing?
From MSM accounts, JP was placed there by BM. We really don't know why BM might have set this up. At this point it appears JP had no idea why he had been called there. It appears that upon BM's orders he stayed in the room for two days.

End.
Big deal, IMO, why was there no dirt for the job, delivered by 6-7 pm night before job, if all was supposed to be set up by Barry for the crew which is specifically why he left at 5 am. Did the tools ever arrive at the hotel? Why would he bring them up and take them back down. So, no tools, no dirt.
How many hotel rooms were there, 1, 2, or 3?
I assume the other 2 people contacted LE, IMO.

Barry decides, on the Saturday before Mother’s Day, to repair a poorly done year old retaining wall. He asks a person who has never worked for him before to leave on Mother’s Day and go out of town to start work there the next day.

Maybe just an oversight on SM's Dad.
I think it could be that or it could not be, but there is no way of knowing without having asked and received an answer indicating one way or the other.

The way it sounds to me, is BM rented the room for JP.

JP arrives at said room and is totally shocked because it smells of chlorine and has wet towels scattered about. If the room was rented for JP, NO ONE else should have access to the room and by all accounts BM should have his own room right?
I probably would have gone through the trash too, trying to determine WHO was in my room!!

Welp bam and bam. Cassidy and Morgan.

That just gave me chilly bumps. Now we’re getting somewhere. I hope justice for Suzanne is soon to come.

If JP was hired as an independent contractor, which it sounds like he was, maybe the other 2 people were working for him, and not Barry. Maybe they got there the next day. ?

But he thought he should pick a piece of mail out of the trash and hold onto it until a later date when he would then hand it over to the FBI? Before anyone knew suzanne was even missing?

I've seen legs as to the letter was just a piece in the trash, but I 've not see that. The original DM article that folks are quoting states

"Puckett said he also discovered a letter about property insurance within a stack of mail inside the room."

"claims Barry Morphew had summoned him to a Holiday Inn hotel room in Denver on May 10 where Morphew stayed the night before and left behind a pile of mail,"

https://nypost.com/2020/09/02/suzan...utm_campaign=SocialFlow&utm_source=NYPTwitter

He said he found the mail the next morning, which would be Monday. Suzanne was missing by then—why wouldn’t he know it?

Another miss by me, I didn't see where he said he found it the next morning? Huh, he was in the room and it just "appeared"? I don't recall seeing such as it was a "pile of mail" or a "stack of mail". Have I missed an update for such?

ETA: I now am listening to Nancy Grace and hear that Lauren is stating was in the trash... so not a "pile" or "stack" as was previously reported?

That's a very good point. If the room was in JP's name, why did BM use it himself? Taking a shower in a work colleague's room (even if he's the boss) sounds really weird and suspicious to me.

break down of the interview:

calls up a guy who has never worked for him before - the day before (mother's day, no less)

BM told Lauren originally in that interview he went up the day before to prep for his crew - but JP was called to go up and work Sunday.

No dirt, no equipment to work with--- were apparently fixing a retaining wall on interstate? ( Wish I knew where this was, I'd check it out ha)

2 other workers there as well -- C (male) & M (female)
-Lauren trying to talk to them

JP apparently really upset about the whole situation...no equipment to do the work etc.

Nancy talks about this whole thing a set up for an alibi for BM

Apparently BM got this room for JP -- but room smelled of chlorine, wet towels all over, and Barry had laid on the bed. +BM mail left in there

-JP name even left on the door -- apparently room specifically for JP

JP showed up in Broomfield after 6pm Sunday

*No evidence BM ever booked his own room

Nancy asked: 911 call made around 6pm, JP got there around 6pm - how did Barry know there was a family emergency already?

Lauren was in Salida trying to talk to BM yesterday, couldn't find him until late last night - wanted to ask him about the upcoming search if he was going to participate but she didn't get that answer from him

"Is he leading searches?" -no, not that I know of -Lauren
** ill edit if any more interesting details

me thinks LS isn't getting anymore interviews with Barry, lol
