So what is Barry all bent out of shape about re FBI? What are the FBI lies?
Poor, poor Barry. Such a good guy-- giving an alleged ex-convict work and he's being blamed again. He refuses to let his wife be the victim -- even in her own disappearance!

Yes, all about him. He’s not mad they haven’t figured out what happened to his wife, he’s angry they are focusing on him.

He doesn’t want her found, and he just wants them to back off. They won’t.

It’s typical narcissistic behaviour. All the stories he churns out make sense to him so he’s baffled why the rest of the world doesn’t understand. He doesn’t have to explain the timeline because he wasn’t a part of what everyone is accusing him of. Why do we not get that? In his mind his work mates and LE are ALL liars and out to get him. Can we not see that? MOO

I have dealt with narcissistic family members and have sat through hours of convoluted explanations and meandering stories that only make sense to them. Any lapses of logic you point out, they will have a story about how YOU are wrong. Thankfully, the situations I have dealt with aren’t as disturbing as this one.

Poor Suzanne and her two girls.

Personally, I would have said 'pack up everything and get back here to help me search for my person! The job can wait!'. But that's just me.
And me...

“I’ve heard the FBI lie and I know that they can legally do that in their investigations,” Barry said. “But it just pains me to know that they are doing this to me and my family.”
I sure wish he would elaborate on the FBI lies.

Boy, it seems everyone around him are just liars
I’m sure this is the story he is feeding the girls too. Everyone is lying but him. Right.

Coolers, huh?? Very interesting little tidbit that they were intent on finding them but couldn't.
I'm sure BM has an answer for that one too. The girls and their companions took them to Idaho!

Such a good point.

I wonder what time BM checked into the hotel on May 10th? Since he said he left around 5am. Did he have a reservation? According to him this had been planned for over a month. How many rooms total did he reserve and/or end up renting? And for how many nights? Would also be interested to know if he was planning to share that room with JP before he left for the family emergency. Did they normally double up for jobs or stay in separate rooms? If they weren’t planning to share that room why was BM in there to begin with?

Agreed, since whatever's making him "angry" is something LE might want to focus on even more closely.

Back in May or June I posted a couple of links to information regarding the geological makeup of Colorado around Maysville. Plus a guide to all the abandoned mines in the area. I don't think BM is a criminal mastermind but one thing I do think he knows well is rocks. Boulders, granite, shale, gravel, etc. And I would imagine he knows where deposits of them are and how easy it would be to cover a dead body, or parts thereof, with rocks.

I keep coming back to that image of BM that TD mentioned where he was bare chested, soaking wet and cold looking the day before the videotape of BM explaining what happened to the bike. According to TD he appeared as if he'd been in the creek or the river and he walked up to his truck and sat in it with his chest against the steering wheel then he drove slowly away. I was looking at what was around there on the other side of the creek/river.

There is an old unused mine called Copper King mine just on the other side of the Arkansas River just a bit south and east of the Morphew home. I wonder whether he placed SM somewhere near that mine or under a wash of stones. Or parts of her.

I have no real idea how SM was killed. Initially, I thought it would be a bloodless murder like a strangling, drowning or suffocation, since I believed it was premeditated and that blood evidence would have been discovered during the search of the Morphew home in late May. But now we know about the abrupt end to the social media messaging between SM and her friend, I'm not so sure. It could be they got in an argument that escalated and she just got disgusted with the whole thing and put her phone down an walked away. And he followed her.

But BM being seen soaking wet and cold makes me think he was ensuring that something he had hidden was still hidden.

I also wondered whether the building site was dug up because cadaver dogs got a hit under the cement and even though it appeared they had no physical evidence in terms of bone fragments, etc I wondered if soil samples provided evidence of a dead body. JMO MOO
This is great research @branmuffin! I remember when you posted the abandoned mine guide and even commented on how surprised I was at how many there were. I didn’t realize the Copper King mine was so close to their home. So from the location where TD saw BM that day when he was wet is the mine across the river? If so couldn’t he get to it without going across a rapidly flowing river? Or do you think he could have been moving her body from the river to the old mine? I hope that mine will be looked at by AM’s search team. I’ve heard those old mines have rattle snakes in them though. AM was asking for volunteers with cave experience so hopefully they would know the best way or have the right equipment to search a mine. BM could have just throw her down it and walked away...

One thing I'd like to add, and I'm sure you all can help me out here...
I won't believe that there was a job in Denver, unless it's authenticated with a verifiable written job order and contract - and maybe not even then. People do have friends.

I HATE the smell of pinesol. My mom used to have to use it when I was really young and my Dad had roofing jobs on the side! UGH! Maybe it was different in the turn of the century??? hahah
My mom is keen on white vinegar. Me, not so much.

It was years before I knew you could use PineSol indoors. My granddad always had a supply 50/50 P & Water and wiped down tables, chairs, etc. and flies hate PineSol.

I think that might have been my fingers' interpretation of me biting my tongue
Don't hold back now. But, I respect your restraint. I'm sure I could use some of that! :p

@branmuffin . This is such a great post. May I make a suggestion that you consider alerting authorities on your thoughts? It definitely sounds like something they should look into.
note: I am using @ to reference posts as I always mess up when I quote or reply. Then my comments don’t go outside the square brackets and they get deleted. If some one could give me a 101 on replying that would be great!

Yeah, I get it. The whole house permeated with that smell, she used it in the washing machine with his work clothes! I can smell it now!!!

Re: Lauren's phone interview with BM about the motel

I'm:/

And thinking if i had done nothing wrong i wouldn't feel the need to explain away a co-worker's claims about a motel room

I think at the most i would say LE will sort that out and that I'm grateful for the search that my wife's brother is organizing
(Just to look good, if nothing else)

It just feels off
So much concern about himself...

I haven't been able to watch it yet. Did Andy's search even come up in the conversation with Lauren? I would hope she'd ask him.
Just interesting that they couldn't find a single cooler in the house. I'd imagine he had multiple, as I know most hunters do.

But yes, I think you're right I didn't even think about that.

I'm thinking LE has surveillance video of BM with a large cooler. Could have been at the hotel or they could have seen it in the back of his truck on a traffic camera or something.
