So what is Barry all bent out of shape about re FBI? What are the FBI lies?
I'm assuming he's referring to what investigators told AM. They may lie to a suspect but not to witnesses or the public. If they are not being truthful to someone, it's probably Barry himself. Imo

Very risky to dispose of in a dumpster. People love picking through those, and that’s how bodies in suitcases are found. A cooler would be gold to some of those people.

In some ways, it almost seems harder to dispose of a large cooler than a body.

A thought, The Arkansas River.
Heavily rafted and recreated full of boats with coolers on both commercial and private river trips

He was at the jobs site?
If he was, I don't know why he didn't mention it. He seemed to avoid any explanation of what he had been doing all day before he had to leave everything behind and head home.

It seems Barry can’t help himself.

Anytime some piece of information goes public, he jumps in to defend himself and says someone is lying. It’s ridiculous.

Tonight, in the LS interview, he was doing the same - placing blame and pointing fingers. The ONLY time he even mentioned his wife is when LS point blank asked him to lay it out there about his missing wife.

Even then, he could not say her name. He truly wants to be seen as the victim in this. If he is innocent, he is a terrible husband, IMO. Poor Suzanne, I can only imagine what she had to endure.

I haven't been able to watch it yet. Did Andy's search even come up in the conversation with Lauren? I would hope she'd ask him.

I'm thinking LE has surveillance video of BM with a large cooler. Could have been at the hotel or they could have seen it in the back of his truck on a traffic camera or something.
Yes, it's going to be a LARGE cooler that's in question.

I’m sure daddy has given them a reasonable sounding excuse. I think they’re still completely on his side, as we’ve seen in so many cases before. Not that I’m faulting them, but the closer you are to someone, the more blind you are.

I think so, too. It's not an uncommon phenomenon. The human mind is capable of compartmentalization to the point where severely traumatized people will completely "lose" (block) their memories of certain events.

We are observing only mere glimpses into BM's mindset and he's been pretty consistent with the "I'm innocent/grief-stricken/under immense stress not knowing what has happened to my wife or where she is/poor me, the victim/I'm being set up by LE to cover their incompetence". He will be amplifying these messages on a loop to his daughters. It's akin to a kind of brainwashing.

Something happened to fracture the extended Morphew-Moorman family communications two or so years ago. We don't know what that was, and it might not be of any huge significance in the bigger picture. It will, however, make it more difficult for the Morphew girls to reach out to the Moorman side of their family right now. BM convincing his daughters that the three of them need to support one another (at the expense of all other family connections) will be one of his priorities, the corollary being that if they did talk to anyone else, they'd be "betraying" their father and their tight family unit.
It's very possible that the daughters are currently angry at the "unfair" treatment LE is dishing out by setting their father up. Brainwashing has that effect. They are still viewing the world through their parent/father's lens and - due in part to the pandemic - have had little respite from that. They are isolated, with little opportunity for reality check challenges via work colleagues, friends, school associates, and other family members.
And he's all they have now (as they see it), so it's unsurprising that their traumatized minds are denying/blocking what is far too painful to contemplate.
The dam will breach, eventually. I think that the major search being organized by AM could well be a catalyst for that to happen. It will force the daughters to see things they haven't wanted to look at before. I suspect that the tight-knit family unit will begin to fracture at that point- if it hasn't already started doing so.

Who's, what? I need to know!!! TIA!
ETA: or could you just give me the gist of the comment?
The comment is by Bran muffin.
@branmuffin Back in May or June I posted a couple of links to information regarding the geological makeup of Colorado around Maysville. Plus a guide to all the abandoned mines in the area. I don't think BM is a criminal mastermind but one thing I do think he knows well is rocks. Boulders, granite, shale, gravel, etc. And I would imagine he knows where deposits of them are and how easy it would be to cover a dead body, or parts thereof, with rocks.

I keep coming back to that image of BM that TD mentioned where he was bare chested, soaking wet and cold looking the day before the videotape of BM explaining what happened to the bike. According to TD he appeared as if he'd been in the creek or the river and he walked up to his truck and sat in it with his chest against the steering wheel then he drove slowly away. I was looking at what was around there on the other side of the creek/river.

There is an old unused mine called Copper King mine just on the other side of the Arkansas River just a bit south and east of the Morphew home. I wonder whether he placed SM somewhere near that mine or under a wash of stones. Or parts of her.

I have no real idea how SM was killed. Initially, I thought it would be a bloodless murder like a strangling, drowning or suffocation, since I believed it was premeditated and that blood evidence would have been discovered during the search of the Morphew home in late May. But now we know about the abrupt end to the social media messaging between SM and her friend, I'm not so sure. It could be they got in an argument that escalated and she just got disgusted with the whole thing and put her phone down an walked away. And he followed her.

But BM being seen soaking wet and cold makes me think he was ensuring that something he had hidden was still hidden.

I also wondered whether the building site was dug up because cadaver dogs got a hit under the cement and even though it appeared they had no physical evidence in terms of bone fragments, etc I wondered if soil samples provided evidence of a dead body. JMO MOO

“I’ve heard the FBI lie and I know that they can legally do that in their investigations,” Barry said. “But it just pains me to know that they are doing this to me and my family.”
BBM But it doesn’t pain him that his wife is missing. In fact, he doesn’t want to talk about her at all. Barry only cares about himself and only wants to talk about himself. MOO

As is customary for BM.

DAs rarely personally get involved in the day-to-day activities of crimes. Only when they’re close to being solved do they typically become much more hands-on. Hopefully we get an arrest next week.

Great post!
It really perturbs me that BM spews this Christian belief and God’s will.

Any decent Christian would be reaching out to the Moorman’s in support and insisting that the daughters spend time with their ailing grandfather.

It is clear to me that Suzanne was a devout Christian, but BM is trying to twist it to his advantage. It ain’t working for me!

So Barry, what WERE you doing between 5 am and the late afternoon shower?
There are so many things he could say to help himself, but the interviews are constantly side-lined. Never a complete set of facts that are sequentially laid out. But rather piece-mealed in a way that leaves you with more questions than before. FRUSTRATING!

I'm going to table the smell of chlorine for now, it really may be unrelated. There are bigger questions that need to be answered.

If he left the tools in the hotel room, why is JP saying they had nothing to work with? If BM left the tools in the other employees room, surely JP would know that?
This case is driving me nuts! Why can't we just get a straight answer?

The sighting of Barry in his truck, wet and bare-chested resonated with me too. I wondered whether he might have been checking to make sure that Suzanne's body hadn't become dislodged as a result of cadaverine gases. Your theory about mine shafts makes so much sense. Not only would they be inaccessible; the water at the bottom of the shaft/s would more effectively mask any scents that various stage cadaver dogs could pick up.
Your level of expert thinking is truly impressive. Thank you for sharing it.

Excellent. One thing tho, it wasn't dogs, if I'm not mistaken, but maybe it was initially!
The underground sonar sensed something. I really hope we get to know why.
Your suggestions have a ton of merit, as did

Wow, don't know what happened to my comment!
This is a very well thought out theory, as was @branmuffin 's and I remember it.
I, too, always thought that the reason he was wet was to make sure that what he'd dumped was still there.
I also think he managed to move all things that were incriminating.
Good going. Please continue this line of thinking. :)

I am jumping in a little late today , do we have a link to the interview? plz and thank you

I turned in a tip about her being in a mineshaft near home a few weeks ago.
