BBM:

If BM had needed the bobcat for his alibi, wouldn't he have taken the machinery with him out to Broomfield, or Denver, or wherever the heck the (nonexistent) job was?

The fact that JP said that there were no tools or equipment there would seem to rule out the use of the machinery for some type of alibi.

I hate the fact that LE indicated they found no evidence of SM at their search site.
I'm hoping they didn't miss her by inches.
They appeared to limit their search to a very specific area only.

My main man William of Occam is chirping in my ear that the bobcat was used to bury SM.

I honestly don't know whether to listen to him right now or not.

JMO.
If BM didn't use the bobcat for burying SM, then I think he collected his equipment from the Salida job because he knew he was not returning there after Saturday afternoon.

See, BM is clairvoyant, and he knew he was going to have a family emergency and needed to get things wrapped up. He was going to be unavailable for anything but the gym for a while. He's also pretty busy searching for SM every day.

I do not recall anyone claiming that investigators took their blood sample?

IMO if LE had found any blood evidence anywhere that they thought was the missing person's blood, they would typically need a relative's blood (child, sibling or parent) to compare for identification.

Pretty sure if LE had requested blood samples from family members in this case we would have heard about it in the last couple of weeks...IMO

I think it’s possible one of her girls were asked for a dna sample (maybe even her siblings or parent) to have on file, I believe the Sheriffs office may have requested it & is responsible for holding it. In the event remains are found (that could be SM), they can be compared as a possible match. OR they have dna from SM herself from her home.

I don’t remember, is she in NAMUS? LE has access to the side the public can’t see. Unidentified remains info is often run through their database. Hopefully I haven’t made a mess out of explaining my post.

That was Andy's generalization IMO. She was communicating with friend via Facebook messenger, MSOO.
I had NO idea!

I’m not sure what you’re asking.

I’m basically stating that Facebook through accepting their terms, gives their algorithm access to see contacts you have on the device you are using and then make new friend requests based on those contacts.
I erased it because you had already answered someone else. Thanks.

How does it work if a person doesn't have an iphone, and FB doesn't have their flip phone number at all?
FWIW, I have an android, not an iphone. You have to have a data plan, flip phone's have no data.

So barry and Suzanne have been a lovey dovey perfect christian couple for 20+ years and neither one has ever used the others device to login to social media accounts? I doubt it. But if either one did a first time login with a new device they would have gotten an email to that effect and the company would log the info.

I'm getting pretty confused, because I am in the dark ages with my phone. I was just wondering why I get friend recommendations if they basically have no access to my phone (which yes, has no data anyway). But I think EggSalad said it accesses whichever device you are on, ie my email through the tablet.

Are LE allowed to bug BM's house and phone /computer?

SM is in Namus. I remember because if you click on Contacts you’ll see the CBI special agent who interviewed Watts gf.

BBM:

I know technology has its uses, but this Big Brother crap genuinely creeps me out.

Everyone should pick up a copy of 1984 and read, or re-read, it.

Because 2020 is the new 1984.

George Orwell was a true visionary…he was just off by 36 years.

We're right there where he envisioned us.

JMO.

I agree and cookies and algorithms are just the beginning... Artificial Intelligence is the future and after AI becomes smarter than we are they might get rid of us humans.

If you go with pre-planned, maybe he got the login info ahead of time. MOO.

I go to Chrome settings, then Passwords, and they're all stored there.

Good point, I hadn't thought of him being on the move.
I wonder though, would he know her login and pw to login on his own phone?
I know this happens but, do people really give other people their login and pw?
My husband, adult son and teenage daughter all know my password on my phone. Also I never log out of Facebook or web sleuths either but I’m not hiding anything.

I've seen nothing in MSM specific to SM and her DNA. However, another murdered woman's name came up yesterday (Jennifer Rothwell) and by coincidence, I specifically recall her mother telling media that she had already given her DNA to authorities (for positive identification). It was very early.

I later learned that police took the victim's parent's DNA early to test if the blood found inside her home matched her daughter.

It's quite possible that authorities could be using family DNA to confirm blood or other forensic evidence found inside the residence belongs to SM.

AM may have offered his DNA if the girls were unwilling/unable

I was thinking probably on his very first visit. AM knew from the beginning this was not going to end well.

I do think it was her texting, as I don’t think Barry could fake a convo that was not only with a close friend of Suzanne’s, but also had to do with a specific event (a wedding).

So for me, the abrupt stoppage of the text exchange at 2:30 EST (according to PE), is a solid indicator of when something bad happened.

I believe she was murdered Saturday, and then BM got to work (cleaning, getting JP for an alibi, staging the bike, dumping the body, and checking in to the hotel).

That took time.

I agree in that I don’t think Barry could fake a wedding convo either, but remember, he wasn’t alone that Saturday. His other employees were around too on the Salida job. One of them being a female employee who I could see convincingly faking a wedding convo IMO.

Would LE have taken SM's toothbrush or something like that in the beginning for a DNA sample? Don't they usually do that whenever a person goes missing?
