has anyone thought Barry might have put something in her drink, coffee, tea and put to much and then panicked.just throwing out another idea.moo

That is so bizarre, I was thinking exactly that this morning. Maybe a large amount of pain medication or something along those lines. In the end, I don't think he is smart enough to effectively carry this out! MOO

I’m curious as to what people are thinking. SM is somewhere. Where is she?

1) At the home property?
2) At or near the Salida job site?
3) Somewhere close to home?
4) Somewhere between home and Broomfield?
5) Elsewhere?
I think she's either buried on the property or he dumped her on his way to Broomfield. There's all kinds of digging he's been doing on that property. A tree has been removed and replaced with stones, and about 10 different new dirt areas.

I still believe that TD's report of seeing BM bare chested, distraught, soaked and red a will be more at play. I also stand behind my original speculation that he returns to the scene to "check" on things. Even if it's a drive by etc. Not to replay it, but to remain in control of it.

He is too controlling, he needs to feel like he knows everything that LE has or doesn't yet have.... Again, JMO

I was talking to @Seattle1 about the chlorine earlier, and I really liked her thoughts. I think this could account for the smell in the room, and Barry’s need to shower.

Barry buys or steals chlorine from the hotel, and uses it to clean the bed of his truck. It’s possible that he used the chlorine to also sanitize any equipment he may have used, to include whatever was used to contain Suzanne’s body.

During this process, he would have certainly come in contact with it. We all know how strong the smell of chlorine is, and that’s when it is diluted.

He’d need to take a nice long shower to get the smell off, and that room would still smell.
But he did nothing wrong at the hotel!

I know absolutely nothing about trucks, but to a novice his looked pretty new. Would use chlorine cause rust in his truck bed?
Rust is better than blood or DNA

I don’t see him hacking Suzanne up, or burning her. I see him burying her, in the ground, under rock, in water, inside or outside of a cooler. No idea why I feel that way. I’m not spending a lot of time on the bleach, or no materials for the wall.

I want his timeline, and anyone credible who can throw him right under that very big bus.

If we could nail down when BM contacted JP to work the job, it would help the timeline.

My point- if BM contacted him last minute to add to the work crew, it could indicate he knew he wouldn't be there to help. For that matter, hope we learn how far out he scheduled the other employees. BM did say in Lauren's interview "It was not a last minute project, Barry explained, the job had been in the works for a month".

If you listen carefully at 2:48 JP says "as far as no dirt" then jumps into describing how you actually build the wall. Earlier, Barry says he left all the tools in the room and took off for home. So unless something else comes out to disprove, I'm going with the materials at the jobsite itself weren't in place.
Exclusive: Barry Morphew responds to explosive claims regarding the disappearance of wife, Suzanne | FOX21 News Colorado

Maybe the problem was payment? Wouldn't be surprising if the delivery was COD, maybe a credit card number was given and the card declined? I'm grasping at straws now :)

Do we know the movements of the bobcat? From JP's description of the work, I'm guessing the bobcat would be used to fill in dirt as the wall was built.

I keep changing my mind about where Suzanne is.

If he used the bobcat to bury her it has to be somewhere that is accessible for a bobcat to be used.
I do not think he has left her anywhere directly connected to him i.e the home or Salida site.
But I think he has used somewhere he is familiar with.Perhaps somewhere he had worked previously or visited to do a quotation but did not get the job.

im hopefully now that one person has come forward, others may follow suit. No one wants to be the first person to accuse a friend or church member or fellow volunteer firefighter but the time talk has arrived and i hope it continues to reveal more information like an avalanche

I think @GoJacks located a nearby carwash.

And I'm really hoping LE has BM on surveillance washing down his truck!
I don't think we are going to place him at a car wash. How would a contractor explain washing his truck BEFORE he started a job involving dirt? That would be yet another enormous red flag to have to explain away.

Perhaps he had chlorine on hand as well since I did spot a hot tub in the aerial footage of their house.

Didn't want to be spotted buying anything of that nature so he used what he had?

edit: oops i'm way behind, see a lot of people brought that up

Is there anything else that could smell like chlorine? Like an ozone generator? Was considering ozone generators are used to remove smoke smells in clothing. Where there’s smoke, there’s fire, etc. I hope they checked burn sites the VFD had used.

Any Colorado residence..does the area BM would have traveled have any tolls roads or bridges? I live in an area that does. and I have a sticker that is prepaid so I can travel to Indiana. Also we don't actually have booths but there are license plate readers for people who do not have a sticker and when they get that plate number they send a bill to the vehicles registered party.
There are toll roads in the Denver/Broomfield area but the most direct routes would not have put you on those roads.

I’ve got a couple theories.

1. The DA is asking for more in order to issue an arrest warrant and prosecute the case. Could explain why Sherriff Speeze is not endorsing her for re-election right now.

2. LE pretty much knows what happened but they believe two suspects worked together and don’t have definitive evidence of which one actually killed SM. With a murder weapon or body and without one of the suspects flipping, they are still digging to figure out which suspect is the murderer.

3. It’s taking longer than usual to get lab results and digital evidence back due to the strain covid has put on these processes.

Could really be a combination of all 3.

Yep, I'm seeing #1 & #3 for sure.
Not at all #2.
Although I did follow a case some years ago where it was entirely #2:
no body, they incinerated him after they shot him :( no (provable) murder weapon, and both suspects pointed at the other.
The good news is, both scumbags went to prison for it.

It seems like every other rumour has grown legs. If AM is saying there’s something up with the coolers, then there is probably something up with the coolers.

we need a list of all the "magical" words that have been stated but at the time we didn't understand how they fit, and I'll bet my last oreo we will learn later on how important these
cryptic clues were.

I visualize him snapping, lashing out, and then completely losing control.

But if it was premeditated, then I can't see him doing something violent like Patrick Frazee.

He's supposedly a hunter. Perhaps SM is at/near a hunting camp.

Just like Fotis and his gf. that would be awesome if there is footage - I can't forget LE asking people to save their video footage...

I was watching HGTV (dont judge me)and a contractor was building a wall with old bricks. He had to dip each brick in acid first. Does acid have a smell?

Bold of you to bet all your oreos in the middle of a pandemic, your precious stock might remain unreplenished forever. but i agree that PE and Andy have been very wise and specific with the way the choose to word things, hopefully it will all make sense soon

I’d bet money they have him on camera somewhere with a cooler in his truck. Of course they would have asked him about where it is now at some point during the 3-30 hours of interviewing him. I wonder what he said.
