Why would a salary be confused with hush money? I mean, who would question giving someone a salary for work completed? This is like covering your butt, when no one would imagine you have a butt to cover.
But they went to Denver and never did any work there, I believe. And when they finally returned, their boss's wife was mysteriously missing, and if he paid them, for not doing any thing but sitting around....would that be questionable?

I don't know that many reputable, professional workers that would put up with the behaviour that Morgan describes. He changes the work dates over and over, pulls crew together at last minute, so they spend the weekend up there, but have no tools to finish the job, and just come back to town, without working or being paid.
Sounds like a meth head himself, when you think about it.

After watching the interview and seeing Gentile's reaction to the question about what she has to say to people who say she and BM had an affair. I can honestly say I have no doubt in my mind that if they did not have a full blown affair then they must have had sexual contact at different points of their working relationship. The way she dropped her head and her tone changed seemed to show guilt and humiliation. IMO IMO IMO

My wife mentioned something similar after watching the interview. I can't say that I'm 100% convinced, but I can't say that I don't believe it.

I've often noticed -- both personally and professionally -- that "female intuition" is real. When I was still a prosecutor, my female colleagues (both attorneys and support staff) would pick up on certain cues that often went over the heads of us male prosecutors.

11am Sat 5/9 Agitated Barry sends employee home from the Salida Work site. Tell employee he has to go do something with SM.

12:30pm Sat 5/9 SM phone goes dark during text conversation.
There's definitely something to the bleach. I think he filled the tub up and poured bleach in it and soaked the tools. Then dried them with all those wet towels. Or were the towels immersed in the bleach water? Why?
So, if the tools, why did he need to soak the tools in bleach? What the heck happened with the tools? Of course, I have some ideas.

This is great news, and exactly what AM needs. And hopefully the weather forecast will continue to be good weather for such days.

NEW: Sheriff John Spezze sent a press release at 9:47 p.m. Thursday night. This update comes after FOX21’s Lauren Scharf has asked multiple times about the upcoming search effort:

“As part of this investigation numerous searches were conducted however Suzanne has yet to be located.

Andrew Moorman, brother of Suzanne Morphew, is organizing an independent search in the area of Suzanne’s disappearance. This effort will begin on September 24th and continue for the next several days. Andrew will be leading several hundred volunteer searchers from various towns and states in his effort to find his sister.

The Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation want to support this effort. Although our team is unable to coordinate and lead this effort due to liability issues we want to support this effort in several different ways. We certainly appreciate this huge undertaking and want to offer support to facilitate their efforts.

We will be staffing our command post with liaison personnel to assist Moorman search members. Our SAR units will be on hand to assist with Moorman search team accountability and other search team coordination issues. Our crime scene team will be available to document and collect any evidence if found. We will have both Chaffee County and CBI case Agents on hand in this endeavor as well.

As with any major undertaking it takes many different resources to complete a task and we once again appreciate the Moorman Search effort and its many volunteers.”

Wow! I’m stunned - makes one think there has been quite a bit of communication behind the scenes with AM / her family

My suspicion is that MG was infatuated with BM and that she now sees his true character.
I also believe that she is a bitter ex-employee who is determined to get her revenge by elaborating her story. The two ‘mystery men’ sounds questionable to me. JMO.

There are several indications now that BM may have done something to SM Friday afternoon/night. He may have killed her, put her in the tool box on top of the tools and taken her to the Salida work site in the night. If he took her to the Salida work site and dragged a cooler or even her, weighted down, into the water there, that may be why he had MG working on the beach site, obliterating those signs. Is she in the water there or under one of those large boulders there on the beach. Did he have MG, unknowingly, fix the beach so no signs of activity would be noted by LE.
Has that water been thoroughly searched with sonar etc.?

Now, the only trouble with that theory is, how could she be active on SM until 12:30 Saturday?
Could someone else, a woman, have carried on SM's end of the conversation about wedding plans etc. since a woman may have been more convincing to SM. Could this be some of the help he had? MOO MOO MOO MOO.

I expect some feelings were there, on both sides. They worked together for a long time, according to M. Apparently they traveled together too to various job sites, staying in the same hotels.
As a mate, I wouldn't like that as it would make me suspicious at times.
I doubt their relationship was completely business. I think there was at least a friendship there on top of business. Just saying.

I wonder if he had been keeping a large line of credit, against the house, secret from Suzanne? Maybe she looked at the mail that day, and saw that he had racked up a huge debt---which was based upon the 500k she had inherited and put into their home?

She could have been very upset about that debt, especially if she had thoughts of separating, and dividing their assets.
I don’t know any reputable bank that would advance him a line of credit using their CO home as collateral without her signature since they hold the deed jointly? I do think money is the motive but not sure what was going on

Didn't AM say he was going to have politicians apply some pressure?

I think that something might have gone down Friday night but that SM was still alive Saturday. Sounds like Barry might have been stewing on what went down Friday tho.

I'm still wondering if he had a side hustle going on, that helped him bring in cash.

Could he have been dealing Steroids? Or money laundering for some dangerous types?

Construction companies can attract mobsters.

One of my close friends had a very scary experience with that when she owned her own swim suit boutique. The owners of her building acted like nice guys, wanting to help her 'grow' her business, etc, etc....Helped her remodel using 'their' construction company....

Long story short, they ended up trying to steer her into money laundering for their illegal mob biz. It became very scary and she ended up closing her store and moving far away
.

Re BBM
Its possible. A lot of people like myself thought it was all in the past but I once visited a nice italian restaurant in NYC not too long ago with my father that was rumored to be owned by the mob.

I thought it was all just a rumor until the owner came over to our table and introduced himself. Lets just say he was a splitting image of Tony Soprano from "The Sopranos" tv show and as I watched him and others in the kitchen area, I got the distinct impression it wasn't just a rumor.

The food was fantastic and lets just say it was a very authentic experience. A little too authentic as I kept an eye on the door to make sure we weren't going to be attacked like the Saint Valentines Day massacre in Chicago.

A huge unanswered question! LE stated SM was seen ‘later than was previously thought’. It would narrow down the timeline when and where she was last seen.

I slowed that MG interview down and there is definitely some micro expressions that she is trying to suppress when asked about sexual relationship with BM. Maybe it’s just regret but I think something happened or she at one point had feelings for the guy. I don’t doubt that she is now horrified by him. And I don’t think she had anything to do with SM’s disappearance. But she really seemed to be holding some things together there. Also, she may or may not have a drug problem or issue, but I don’t think she is making any of the stuff up about the weekend. MOO uneducated as it is! I have watched several seasons of Lie to Me (great show) but I’m not a forensic expert on facial expressions lol.
I was drawn to the phrasing BM used, which I think gives weight to what you're saying here Foyle.

He said something along the lines of he had not had "another love" since 1988. He does NOT say, I haven't fooled around, been unfaithful, had flings...

It reminds me very much of a certain former president and his statement re "relations".

A denial, which if you're being pedantic, is not a denial at all.

I totally agree with you. It seems something monumental occurred on the Friday, which he knew was going to be a game over situation. Saturday morning he's in a complete tizz wondering what the heck to do about it. He goes to the family home and it all kicks off. Then he has to go into recovery mode.

What was the shopping that MG mentions all about? Alibi, clean up materials? There were apparently witnesses. I'd love to know more about this.

I would also love to know what Suzanne shared with her bestie that Friday night and Saturday morning.

Another thing I'd like to know. If the tools had been cleaned, or if they were dirty.

The fact that MG says they were not appropriate for the works scheduled suggests a few possibilities to me:

The tools had come into contact with something incriminating and needed a chlorine bed bath

Room was needed in the truck for something nefarious being taken care of in a hurry Sunday daytime

Or (less keen on this one), they were offloaded in a panic without logical thought to make it look like it was a genuine work project needing the hotel

Wait, weren't we supposed to hear something tonight that would blow Barry's timeline (Left at 5:00 am Sunday morning) out of the water?
I’m admittedly many pages behind so everybody just ignore me if you already have covered this in the mean time.
I did hear something which blows up BM’s timeline. He did a work worth of 30min (according to MG) which was presented as a preparation work of all day. For which according to the TD interview he departed at 5am and was ‘till 6pm in Denver.

it is interesting that BM claims all the players not covering his 🤬🤬🤬 are meth-heads. MG is someone he let into his home, and i would presume, around his family, and she worked for him for a significant amount of time. she wasn't just a one-off. not sure how many times he has hired JP for work, but there was also the other guy he fired for being so meth-ed up, he feared for the safety of his family. for someone so against drugs, BM surely did surround himself with a bunch of drug users (his statement, not mine)!

i'd rather not say how or why, but i have known a few meth users in my lifetime. they are typically unreliable, unpredictable, and prone to violent outbursts, and i'm just not seeing JP or MG being hired by BM if it was even a possibility that they could behave that way, especially in a work situation. and since he is so anti-drug, why would he taint his reputation as a business man, in a relatively new city, by hiring a bunch of crazed druggies? it is possible to be only a user, and not an abuser, but it would be risky to hire that type of person for any job you really care about, and meth is one of those drugs that you would really have to take precaution with. your reputation, as well as your livelihood would be on the line. (i know some people who gladly take those risks to give people opportunities to improve their lives. my dad was one of them. but BM doesn't hold a candle to the type of man my dad was.)

however, what i would find to be the actions of a typical meth- user and/or abuser is someone who thinks they are super smart and hyper-focused, but might overlook the most basic of details. like committing a violent murder in or around your home, but not having the forethought to not leave behind the smell of bleach. like leaving chlorine-soaked towels all over the floor of a hotel room, even though you know someone else will be in the room shortly after you. someone frantically driving from town to town, making calls to workers about a job site that isn't, and leaving those workers hanging on for 3 days in that very room where you cleaned up...something with chlorine/bleach. this person could be quick-tempered and volatile, in even the calmest of situations, and could possibly be prone to making threats to anyone who even questions his state of affairs. like, for example, the workers who were told not to cooperate with LE. or to a youtuber who caught him in the wild, creeping up an embankment, sweaty and distraught. paranoia will destroy ya.

i'm not making accusations here, just calling it like i see it. BM's behavior is off, in more ways than having possibly just killed his wife. and the fact that at least one person is literally scared of him is frightening. i think this man might be unhinged, and capable of blowing at any moment. moo.

according to Colorado law a spouse must sign all related mortgage docs on homestead. So he would have to forge her signature & get a notary involved.

Yes; The non-titled spouse has to sign only if there is a recorded declared homestead.
