I am way behind and trying to catch up so if this has already been discussed and answered, I apologize. MG talks about working on Saturday until 11 a.m. So when JP in his interview talked about he got to hotel on Sunday and stayed until Tuesday? Do I have that right? So did MG and other unknown worker show up at hotel Sunday along with JP and so all 3 of them possibly stayed? Maybe I have it all wrong/mixed up?? would somebody please be so kind to help me out in this? I'd greatly appreciate it!

My belief is that all 3 workers arrived to the hotel Sunday night. From the picture of MG and JP in the vehicle shown on LS news video last night, it appears they all drove together in one vehicle.

I also think that there were probably 3 rooms rented, one for each employee. However, one of the rooms in the name of JP was rented for Saturday night as well. BM knew he'd be arriving around 9 am on Sunday morning so he either got a very early check-in (quite possible since during COVID the motel wouldn't be as busy as usual) OR he rented one room for the Sat. night, knowing he'd need it early Sunday morning.

All JMO.

Horrid ending. Run over.
As the finder saw one of my flyers, I was notified, days later, about the finding
I always think, if found early, maybe would still be alive.

I'm so very, very sorry.

Well, @MassGuy, it seems BM is gonna need to trade that bus in for a train pretty soon. I can only imagine how many more he’s planning to throw under it

It’s amazing to me how BM’s managed to complete ANY jobs at all with all the drug heads he’s managed to hire. Poor BM, what horrible luck!

I believe everything that MG and JP have said thus far. Why in the world would he fire MG after working with her many times in the past? Oh yea, because she didn’t follow orders like a good girl and turned her phone over to CBI. This just confirms BM’s controlling nature, IMO.

However, if these workers, were questioned at trial, noting their backgrounds, and perhaps not being so truthful in the past, Defence would tear them apart.
Jury may think, they are not being truthful.
MOO.

MG said he changed everything at the last minute when he called her on Sunday, Mother's Day and asked her to get a crew together.

Interesting, she didn't know about the change of plans for the Broomfield jobsite until Sunday, but apparently JP knew about the job, Saturday afternoon.
I'm not sure if that means anything, that he'd tell JP about it before he told MG, considering she'd worked with him a "long time", according to her.
To me, it sounds like he was scrambling quickly to set things up for the very next day.
Except, there's nothing he should have been rushed about, that we know about anyway.

I'm a little confused.
JP said he arrived at the hotel Sunday around 6pm.
Where is the 9am coming from?

It sounds like he was making plans on the fly - immediate reaction on Saturday, just thinking he needs to be out of the home on Mother's Day when the girls can't get hold of Mum - thinks of lining up JP for wall job. More time to think throughout the night while busy cleaning up evidence and adds more people to the 'work' story to make it seem more legit. All my opinion.

" The brother of Suzanne Morphew is leading a new search effort in hopes of finding the missing Chaffee County woman, who was last seen May 10 at her home near Maysville, authorities said Friday." Brother of Suzanne Morphew organizing search for missing Chaffee County woman

Not really any new info we didn't know, but I found it interesting the way this was worded - last seen at her home - instead of the recycled bike ride story.

My way of looking at MG saying BM spent the afternoon ‘in town’ was more so to state that he wasn’t hiking or biking to “make the wife happy” which was his excuse for leaving the site at 11am. Those activities generally take up an afternoon, or at least a few hours. I didn’t take it as her necessarily insinuating he never went home, more so to say that his excuse to leave (which it sounds like MG originally believed) now appears to be another lie.

I also think she could have easily heard from a shop owner/worker in town that BM was seen there later in the day. I can only imagine all the talk that has gone on in these months and she could have been told that BM was seen in town by anyone she was discussing the disappearance with. Shoot, she may have even been told by LE, who was informed in one of the many interviews they’re sure to have had with numerous people.

MOO

BBM I agree that having a land line is invaluable but before we had cell phones, criminals would cut the phone line going into the house or rip the phone out of the wall to cut off communications. MOO

Exactly.

And that leaves forensic evidence. A cell phone doesn't leave that kind of evidence so...my point was about whether we know more...or less...because of lack of landline.

If landline, in general better access to help - but evidence left if the phone is ripped out of the wall or cords are cut (or even if the victim is just holding on to the cord...)

Was it about insurance? I thought property insurance. Surely he wasn’t taking out a life insurance policy on her...?

I thought AM had said something about there being deeds or abstract in regards about the mail at motel? But I may not have heard right what he said, so this is JMO.

JP and the other 2 all arrived together around 6 pm. Sunday night.

BM left home around 5 am Sunday so he could get to Broomfield early to set up for the job (so he says). That puts him at the hotel around 9 am.

If somebody mentions the &$#% wood chipper again, I’ll get suspicious.

I'm really only concerned about whether or not BM was home around 12:30pm when SM communication reportedly ended abruptly.

If BM went home around 11 AM when he directed MG to wrap it up, he had plenty of time to get home (about 11 miles away) --albeit MG doesn't seem to think he did.

We learned from JP that he met with BM on Saturday afternoon -- don't know where or what time. I just have to put 12:30pm on the shelf as it's interrupting my thought process...!.

I wish LS had asked MG more about BM spending 'all afternoon' in town.

At 1100, MG thought he was going home to spend time with his wife, hiking or biking. That didn't preclude them going for a ride or hike (as far as MG knew) and then going into town later. MG may simply have assumed from BM's reason that he would be spending the rest of the day and evening with SM.

Like the text when he fired her and his subtle choice of words!
I think he must like to hire people with questionable backgrounds or people in dire need of a job. He knows these employees are not as likely to tell him to shove it if they don’t like their job or working conditions. So he now boasts to the public about what a great guy he was when he gave them a job but in the next breath he dishes dirt on them. Not a classy move and most people can see right thru these immature reactions.

Look closely at the right hand side , looks like a long bed box.
That's his newly purchased pick up. Not the one he had when SM went missing. So it doesn't even matter. moo
