I believe Barry told TD that he left the Denver area for home as soon as he finished talking to the neighbor, which would have been just a moment before she made the 911 call. He also told TD that he arrived at the turnoff, where LE was congregated because of the bike, at 9:00 pm. Here is a Google Maps and Directions calculation of the exact distance and estimated driving time, which fits BM's narrative. The shorter route allows him just enough time to make a fuel stop.
Considering that he seems likely to have been driving the big Ford truck pulling the trailer with the Bobcat in the evening hours, he seems to have had the pedal to the metal. IMO

Which is fine, but the truth is we don't have any facts to back up his claim of when he left Broomfield. All we have is his word, which to be honest, really doesn't mean much.

Bearing in mind this is also the same guy calling the FBI liars, the CCSO evidence/crime scene bumblers, and throwing 3 out of 4 of his crew straight under the bus, as well as lying about being cleared, and lying about the polygraph he never took.

So, taking him at his word is not something I'm prepared to do at this point, unless facts back him up. A HOI time stamped surveillance camera footage would be great to lock this timeline down, but we don't have that either. So, we really don't have any idea what time BM left that hotel in Broomfield, or where he was until 9pm when he showed up in Maysville.

How would the physical phone be used to tie BM to SM's disappearance?

If her phone were found buried at a dig site where BM performed work, it would be a compelling link.

IMO, BM. The wall was not done right apparently but it wasn’t such a hazard that is needed to be corrected immediately. Since there was no new revenue involved for BM, he planned the fix around his time line.

The changing of the timing of that job is interesting. Maybe it was the alibi all along and he just kept moving the work until the perfect weekend popped up (kids gone, full moon, access to tools/bobcat)

Perhaps, BM changed his mind when SM should be missing, therefore rescheduling Bloomfield, a couple of times.

OR/ALSO, having on record, this job was to occur, would indicate, it was preplanned, AND nothing to do with SM being missing: as BM would state.

I'm guessing that BM's movements are being closely monitored. I remember when Scott Peterson was intending on fleeing to Mexico but was stopped and arrested before he made a clean getaway. I believe there are plenty of eyes on BM.

My post in the last thread about my drive to the hotel in Broomfield yesterday may have been lost. I just can't get it out of my mind today. When I was there, I was looking around trying to figure out why this hotel? While the name conjures "cheap" hotel this one is in a very nice new area with more budget friendly options closer to the highway. The townhomes that are surrounding the hotels on that new block appear to be very upscale. They are building out retail now and there is a coffeeshop next door and a quick walk through the parking lot is a Land Rover dealership. We know the family owned a couple of them. In a search there are 7 dealerships in the state. The closest to Salida is the dealership in Colorado Springs, which we heard for weeks BM's job was but what if he had to change his first version of his story last minute because that dealership couldn't do what he needed? He drove a car that needed maybe some interior work done before LE saw it that could only be replaced at a dealership and Broomfield was the one that could do it? He needed a place to put the tools he had in the back so he grabbed a hotel room next door, cleaned his tools and cooked up a plan about a job that needed to be done in Broomfield for a year but right now was the time to get it done. It was always about the bike but maybe it was to distract from the car that had not been back in the garage very long. All of this is JMO. And my trying to figure out why THAT hotel it doesn't make sense.

You have me thinking.....so nobody would be looking for this car, at the time, and now ?? altered in some way.
If BM thought of this, he is most devious and smart, and from all his lies, I don't think he could think of this move.
Let us see, what is found, in the arrest.
LE would need to contact the Dealership, and there is their evidence, if this occurred.

We only have BM's word for it that 'the wall' was in need of repair. I would have called the company myself but know they would've referred me to their attorney, at that point.
We don't even know if it's true or IF there was a job in Bloomville.
Until I see a job order or other evidence that supports that claim - to me it's as reliable as 'the bike', 'the mountain lion' or 'the abduction' bull.

BBM Interesting..... I hadn’t thought of that but it makes sense. Unfortunately, Mother’s Day weekend turned out to be the perfect weekend, with the daughters gone. MOO

BBM, Absolutely here as well.

But to chime in about the driving time - It certainly would be peddle to the medal and then some, IMO. IF he was in Denver and heading back to Salida area that is not normal traffic on a Sunday night, especially any holiday Sunday/Weekend. ALL roads going towards denver will be bumper to bumper coming down the mountain. Even tho he is heading hte opposite direction the two lane roads are not as fast with packed traffic coming.

Since the git go I myself have had a hard time swallowing that drive time from South Denver to Salida on a holiday Sunday night.

Totally agree. All we have is big trucks, and you would never try to put one in the back, even if you had a flatbed instead of a box. Always trailer them anywhere they need to go!

Ok....... Just so I have this right.

°Tuesday morning BM called MG crying, telling her a moutain lion killed his wife etc.

°Tuesday, two days after SM became missing 2 men approach her, one a friend of Barry's, and one a family member. (Boy that was fast).

°MG hadn't been paid yet. These 2 men talk to her about her check, hush money and the right she has not to turn over her phone. (And whatever else they talked about that she's not telling LS).

°At some point MG is interviewed by LE and gives them her phone. (Interviewed a total of 5 times).

MOO I went back and looked at the raw footage of the Puma Path house. I will give you my best educated guess. I can't read the numbers on the side. I can only make out the bigger decals. Just looking at those I'm going with a 2018 model. Looking at the size of the Bobcat in relation to the trailer, and going off the link provided, which is for the 2020 models. I would say around the S450 size. It will handle heavier work, like bigger boulders and most attachments.

MOO In the pictures/footage of the job site where LE was investigating the slab. There's a track hoe. There looks to be two other pieces of equipment there. One is white, it looks like it could be a Bobcat brand piece of equipment. I just can not see it clearly enough. We haven't heard if one of those machines are BMs, or if he rented, owned, or had any of those at his disposal.

As far as knowing for sure what size of equipment BM has, or how many pieces of equipment BM owns. It has not been published that I know about. ALL MOO
