Well, we might have been competitive - but as he was a physician, he was pretty confident in his education.

I was going to mention that with both Ozzy and my ex, there was a major Axis I mental health diagnosis - which has made me wonder a bit about BM. Is he bipolar? What the heck is going on with him??

He strikes me not with the moodiness, but with rigid thinking. His preoccupation with finances, so amply shown after his wife disappeared, what is it? Obsessed about money...

from PE:

AM and crew are headed to colorado, from indiana, in a caravan on sept 22 (about 35 people). he plans to get with the sheriff and CBI first thing.

mark johnson's (lawyer, CEO of Visual Labs) company specializes in forensic documentation and forensic visualization, showing accurately a crime scene, or a disaster scene, using digital tools and interfacing with LE groups, as well as search and rescue. they use drone technology with thermal-based sensors to detect activity and disturbances and clandestine graves, things not apparent to the naked eye. they have new software developed to coordinate on the ground, so as to not waste resources and/or time. since it's such a remote area, they also have access to image libraries, both aerial satellite- based and terrestrial photo-dimetric imaging, so it's possible to go into the historical record and see if they can find any useful info. he's going to be pulling some of the aerials, from mother's day, to identify potential areas to make available for the search teams! wow! (mark also helped with the daybell case.)

per andy, they have collected EVI (electric vehicle information). the cell phone info has been kept very private by the investigators, and AM feels there must be a reason behind that, so he's not questioning it. he is hoping once he gets to colorado, they will give him and his crew suspect areas to search.

mike asks andy to share with the viewers (and mark, the guest) the change that has happened in the last 4-5 weeks since he went public with his pleas for help. andy replies, "LS from fox21 did some really interesting interviews that i would beg you to watch. if you thought some things were sinister before, when you watch those, you're really gonna think that. i know i do. my sole mission is to find my sister. i'm not a judge, a jury, or the police. they can deal with the rest. i just need to find suzanne. that's my goal. my only goal."

My gut says he was around Salida Saturday even if MG isn’t exact on her times. It seems improbable to drive 3 hours to Broomfield and back on Saturday and then there and back on Sunday and risky with cell phone and vehicle tracking.
Who checked in at HI Broomfield on Saturday, to have the check-in done in time and to have the room/s available on Sunday night/morning? Sorry, I'm not versed with hotel check-ins at all. Did someone have to appear in person?

If he is obsessed with money/earning money, why did he move to another state in 2018 and why did he start once more with his landscaping business? Who would abandon his customer base in his home state, when already 50 yo?

MOO that question is important. Suzanne was mid cancer treatments, youngest in high school, most people would think it wasn't not a good time.

If the trial started today, and I’m prosecuting, my star witness has to be SM’s texting friend - she better have something good.

After that, it gets sketchy. I could call AM as a witness and have him share his recollections. But AM better hope the reasons for the family estrangement that happened in Indiana aren’t relevant - if they’re even remotely relevant, the defence will bring them up.

The other employees MG, JP and CC. I guess I could call them up, but do I know what I’m going to get? Are they going to get their facts straight and will their accounts line up? If not, and the defence starts digging, it’s possible that the employee testimonies just end up making the waters dirty.

The witnesses all have a story to tell and there’s an element of truth in all of their stories, but without any digital info, it’s as clear as mud.

"The other employees MG, JP and CC. I guess I could call them up, but do I know what I’m going to get? Are they going to get their facts straight and will their accounts line up?"

This is why both prosecutors and defense attorneys ready their witnesses before trial.
We don't know what other digital and forensic evidence they have but I presume there's plenty.

it's too late to edit my post above, but i just wanted to add that mark's company, visual LAW (not labs), was able to find a satellite image just HOURS after alex cox visited chad daybell, and that's what prompted them to take a closer look at his "pet" cemetery, where they discovered the kids' bodies. i highly recommend everyone take a listen to the interview on PE. this could be a really promising turn in the morphew case!

i think someone is going to be sweating extra hard with this guy on this case! frfr.;):D

Yep.

A bit like the surgeon asking the SN to hand over that smallish cutty thing, or a chef looking for that flat flippy thing to sauté with or an accountant wondering about those table-y numbery things needed to complete the audit.

People who work with with tools and instruments regularly know how they work and what they do and what they're called. Unless they're trying hard not to mention them because their mind is a bit not in the right place, or whatevs.

Just great:):):):): we can add others.
A gardener: to remove those unwanted growths among the roses.
A student: finding my things for my class.
A carpenter: where is that thing to measure with etc/
We can go on...

Same here, I'm thinking they must have plenty of digital evidence plus a vast volume of circumstantial evidence. I also wonder about things like whether they tested BM's shoes and clothing for plant evidence etc. Brick by brick the wall is being built by LE.

Haha, you made me giggle there ....... one more to add, "the thing", "where's the thing" .... the thing that changes the channels on the telly ..... haha ..... honestly, I've never, ever heard it referred to as anything other than "the thing" ......... but we all know what the thing is, so that's good ;)

Great question.I abandoned at age 45, a 5 year old plumbing service in Motown suburbs to take a "job" as a UAW pipefitter at Chrysler . It did not include relocation, so I still lived where I grew up. Money, insurance, benefits- kids needing "more"-phone not ringing, my reason. Can not imagine me giving up my 100 loyal customers and starting over in another state from square 1. Somebody would need deep pockets to do that- but Katrina caused a few union plumbers to chase New Orleans insurance claims rebuilding due to slow work here and the need there. I don't think anyone stayed there . There is no telling how these ABC non union folk network- between states as well- and there's an old saying-get signed contracts before you go buying equipment holds true- I'd move if I had a contract that was lucrative enough-I guess-but only San Diego or close. Lastly a buddy could have solicited him to move his biz -seen a few contractors move to Hawaii due to the amount of work there and the need. But all these examples are common folk working for the "dream"- and not folk with 1.5 mil homes ---and it does take all kinds. IMO

Good to see you here, @Trackergd ! Don’t know if you’ve seen this but it looks like the PE guys have introduced AM to someone who will be offering this type of technology. He comes in around 20:00 .

Interesting side note : when they are talking about historical data from Mother’s Day weekend, Andy says “ Well, you should start with Friday night and work your way in.”

I too found this interesting as it refered to search areas rather than some argument or internet usage.
Did BM go out and do some preparation work on Friday evening?
I also found the comments from PE thought provoking.
'This is sinister on so many levels' and 'a number of doors need to be prized open..metaphorically speaking.'
