The first I remember the rented condo mentioned was when we were discussing the IndyMedia YT video of AM being interviewed.

From my old-fashioned scribbled notes, the news of this vid (and link thereto) first appeared onboard at THREAD # 32, dated Sept. 7, 2020. All my notes were taken from Page 2-6.

Hope this helps.

Thank you! Your documentation is amazing.

Well if he has convinced them she was kidnapped they wouldn't want to be in the house IMO.

If he's convinced of anything at all, he needs to be clearer about it, rather than continue to float various theories about what happened. At least, he should be clearer if he wants find out what happened to Suzanne and if he wants to resume his own life in a more normal fashion.

But I'll go further and say that if he thinks there was a kidnapping, and that other family members are at risk, he might want to choose another town than Salida for his daughter to go to school, as now she has to go into town on her own when school starts. Not sure what the status of schools in Salida is.

IMO.

I thought i covered that with using "sworn statement" but thanks for re-opening this---was thinking the tabloids pay these folk for interviews daily mail etc many i learned here...just want the right questions asked....just want the guy witness #3 to tell what he knows....only motive I see from them "moving" is running from truth.....just saying...stay put answer the questions and lead your normal life where u are...IMO

It would still be witness tampering.

He's so arrogant he thinks that because he says it out loud it must be true IMO. Most of our schools offer the remote option. I can't imagine how they must be feeling now. Wonder if the firefighters are still hanging around with him?

Someone mentioned EVI, electric vehicle information. I’m curious how that works, does anyone know? Does BM own a EV?

I think his video was odd because he did the same thing with it as he did with his early explanations to LE and TD for her disappearance; he tried to keep alive multiple scenarios by which she disappeared that did not involve himself. Those early explanations included: (1) she was taken by a mountain lion, (2) she was abducted by a stranger, perhaps someone who hit her or forced her off the road, (3) she was abducted by someone she knew, or (4) she crashed and wandered off injured, perhaps into the river.

In the video, BM was trying to act like he imagined the husband of a missing wife might act if he thought she might have been abducted; he made an appeal to these imagined abductors ("Anything you want, I will pay..."). But, he also acted like the husband of a wife who faked her own disappearance might act; he made an appeal directly to Suzanne, as though she purposely disappeared and just needed to be convinced to return ("Oh Suzanne...your girls need you...").
IMO, that first statement a guilty husband gives after murdering his wife is always the most telling.

I am trying to keep current, while catching up on my missing threads...I’ve begun watching PE interview with AM, not going to be able to finish in one sitting...

MVHO, AM truly suspects BM, doesn’t make him guilty.
BM truly suspects AM, doesn’t make him guilty, either.

MOO, both parties have to have been proposed as POIs, therefore both have been scrutinized by LE, 4 months in, no probable cause on AM, search warrants, etc. Is it possible HE has just realized BM isn’t guilty? Area of search based on suspicion of BM or acceptance that that has not proven to be possibility...

WOULDN'T crisscrossing pointing fingers of suspicion have had some results?

To clarify, I began my theories, using random suspect, but realized lately, this is a bit inaccurate, tho still slim possibility. It is more like a perp who has had minimal contact with SM, perhaps thru her husband or her own brief contact...on the sidelines, watching and waiting.

Someone familiar with the area, and is still in the area. Someone who sits back and watches all the developments, smugly thinking he has gotten away with it. Someone who understands that as long as BM is under suspicion, they are safe. Should that change, they have a plan, but for now, they are comfortable...
I hope this search causes them to slip up ...not necessarily find her, that becomes increasingly less likely.

Neither LE nor BM have said they suspect AM of anything and we don’t have any information that AM has been involved in anything other than conversations with LE regarding his missing sister.

I would also be shocked if AM has stopped suspecting BM. AM said last night that the timeline starts on Friday and to work backwards. BM is the only known individual to have seen SM during that time frame, so....

And while AM is saying that he just wants to find his sister, he’s also about to bring 500 people + resources into CO to find her. I think his opinion of what happened hasn’t changed.

I think your final thoughts about a 3rd, unknown local person that committed the murder is interesting. Personally, I think BM is the main culprit but there were others involved in some capacity and they are sitting back seeing how this plays out.

I believe EVI is in reference to the data that can be pulled from a cars computer/gps system, not that BM specifically owned an electric vehicle like a Tesla.

From what I’ve read on this thread, BM’s Ford and SM’s Range Rover would have this. It’s TBD is the older Range Rover would have it.

Would this also cover the Bobcat?

Golly gee, EggSalad.
It looks like if you use your Bobcat to bury your wife, they will tell on you.

I’m trying to catch up. I live on the Gulf Coast of Alabama and I’m currently huddled with my freaked out dog in the living room listening to continuous heavy rain and scary loud wind gusts. Hurricane Sally has us in her path and she is moving excruciatingly slowly. BTW It’s never a good sign when you turn on the tv for a hurricane update and there are three The Weather Channel reporters broadcasting from your city! :p Luckily Sally is only a Cat 1 but it’s tearing up our beautiful white sand beaches with the storm surge and many more areas will be flooded.

I just watched the PE from last night and was very impressed with Mark Johnson and his company Visual Law. It has been discussed up thread in more detail but it’s just so awesome they are going to help AM with the search! I can’t wait to see what happens starting on the 24th. PE is not going but it sounds like AM and LS will keep in touch with them because they said they will give nightly updates - so hopefully we will get to find out where they are searching. Since CCSO & CBI are assisting AM now the locations might be very telling. Andy seemed very down last night. He said he was exhausted but I also think he’s really sad. He said nothing good will come of this (search) and I thought that was weird but then he explained that it’s not good if he doesn’t find her and it’s not good if he does. Poor Andy, I get it. But I do think some good will come out of finding Suzanne...a proper burial, closure for her family and hopefully an arrest & conviction! The reality that he might actually find his baby sister is probably hitting him hard. IMO

I contributed to the search fund but wish there was more we could do if we aren’t going to the search. If I’ve missed anything in that regard please let me know. I really wish I could go and participate. It’s just too far and I’m a little to old to be hiking mountains in that elevation and also Covid. And I’m also more than a little scared of mountain lions, bobcats & pumas now! And bears! I’m an RN and thought about signing up to volunteer in a medical tent or pass out water. It’s about a 20 hour drive from Alabama. So if anyone from my area is thinking about going but doesn’t want to drive alone please let me know. It might be too late to sign up soon and I could still be convinced. :D

My thoughts & prayers to everyone else dealing with hurricanes...and wildfires. Crazy times right now! It’s going to be a long night because these roaring winds and creaky noises are getting scary but I’m going to eat hurricane junk food and Daisy & I ate going to hang out with you guys on and off this evening until I lose power and Wifi. :(

Yup. But I was just thinking, I wonder how difficult it is to remove or disable that functionality? Could removing the telematics system be the mechanical thing that BM did?

Hypothetical of how BM could get caught in that timing lie:

LE: We noticed your bobcat doesn’t have the telematics system. why is that?

BM: Oh, I removed that when I bought it. I’m not much of a tech guy.

LE: Interesting. The data from you bobcats telematics system said it was disabled at 11:30am Saturday.

BM: Oh, I’m just so stressed I forgot when i did that.

i am thrilled about having mark on board for the salida search, too, and it seemed like AM was as wow'ed by him as i was. i agree, he definitely seemed exhausted. :(

*(stay safe @Lilypad13! my mom is on the coast in MS, and i'm watching closely from over here in EU. i always joke about how much i miss hurricanes (bc i love the bad weather chaos, lol, i know, i'm weird), but when they are upon y'all and i have to worry from afar, there's nothing about it to miss. it can be scary. we are here if you need us!)

I understand MG's testimony to be, in part:

  • She has worked with BM for long enough to develop a relationship of trust - i.e., she would expect him to share his feelings about SM's disappearance and LE's focus on him.
  • Two men associated with BM approached her with bogus reasons to withhold her paycheck, and in that conversation suggested that she should not share her phone with LE.
  • Shortly after that, BM fired her for reason other than her cooperation with LE.

JMO, if she hasn't consulted an attorney about claiming unemployment benefits and suing BM for wrongful termination, she should. If the above can be proved, she has him over a barrel: if he defends, her attorney gets to subpoena records and ask him questions under oath. If he takes the 5th Amendment, he gets hammered with civil damages and penalties. JMO
