Yes. Did he do something on Friday that left the beach mucked up? Like bury his wife? That throws our time line way off, by a whole day. But MG does state that she thought that he was acting weird about the beach area Saturday morning. If she was picking up weird vibes, it could have been he was upset about something else, tho, and she wrongly assumed it was all about the beach area.

Just imagine for a moment: if that's where Suzanne is buried, what BM must be going thru, since MG gave her interview. Moo
I don't think that is where she is buried but I do think that he was acting weird as MG stated. I do think that he wanted her out of the way and he had to go "make his wife happy". I think he had the job stopped early because he had decided to go home and get rid of his "problem".

How does one explain making an offer of $475,000 over asking price? Did a realtor handle that buy-sell? IMO

Quite simple. What Barry wants, Barry gets, even if that means brow beating the “love of his life” out of her inheritance, because what’s hers is “his” and what’s his is his. It’s THAT simple! JMHO

This is a big question.
If BM is work driven, why are materials and tools not ready by Sunday afternoon for the crew to start Monday at 8am?
Simple. Because it wasn't so much a JOB as an ALIBI, at least IMHO

@OldCop . “If” MG is correct in saying that two people pressured her not to hand over her phone, would that indicate that these two people were 1. Aware that BM committed the murder 2. An accessory to murder. Could LE question these two based on guessing who they are from a TV interview?
My gut instinct is that MG is furious she was fired and that her interview is partially factual and partially embellished in order to gain revenge. My other instinct tells me she was previously infatuated with BM and was hurt a lot by him. Did MG tell LE about this encounter and identify the two people?
@TIGER0822, I totally agree with your second paragraph. As far whether they knew BM was involved with SM’s disappearance or were accessories after the fact, LE has every right to question anyone who they think might be involved in SM’s disappearance or who may be assisting in a cover up. If MG told LE about this alleged incident and was later found to have lied, her credibility with LE will have gone way down hill and would also hurt any other testimony she might later give in court.

I wondered the same. I've been in real estate for years and I can think of some scenarios where this could be the case. For instance, if it was in default could create a bidding war if they were only asking for the mtg. amount against it. Also some agent's list at a ridiculous price to create a bidding war. We actually have brokerages known for this out here.

My main theory is simple. They were having some sort of strife in the marriage, Suzanne may have told him she wanted to leave and go back to Indiana. We all know the most dangerous time for a woman is when she tries to leave.

Whatever was going on was building that week since the girls were not home and culminated Saturday afternoon, it ended with Suzanne's death. Everything after that is cover-up.
I totally agree with your theory. I'm thinking the very same. I think that she was so against the purchase of the lot he was intent on buying that he got enraged and killed her. Everything hit the fan that weekend.

I could be wrong but I don't think the lot had anything to do with it. jmo

RSBM (Respectfully snipped by me)

MG told LS that the "do over" had been rescheduled more than once (she didn't say which party had changed the date) and that originally the crew was to be just she and BM. She was surprised when he called and instructed her to assemble a crew on Mother's Day, particularly since she had just seen him the day before at the Salida worksite and it didn't come up.

MG said BM had done some minor set up for the job. Was it just enough to make the job look legit? Was there ever an order placed for bricks? Or was it all just a way to keep his crew away from the Salida/Maysville area when the news that Suzanne was missing broke?

MOO
Thirty minutes at most is what MG said that Barry had done on the jobsite, on a Sunday (which is double time) on Mother' Day at that. Pathetic, I say. He just wanted to have an alibi for his whereabouts on that day, which points directly to premeditation. JMO

I respect your opinion but I think there is a possibility that he announced that he planned to buy the lot with the inheritance that she had just acquired and she was totally against it. As soon as she was "missing", that is the first thing he accomplished, buying the lot.

The sale of the the Indiana house and the guardianship, make me think it could def be related. How to use the money from the sale could have been a point of contention.

I do not see them paying over the asking price. It looks like they paid asking price. The house listed in 2015 for $998,000 and sold for $1.1 million. It was on the market again in Dec 2017 for $1.575 million and early in 2018 is when the Morphews bought it.

I believe it was said that she used her inheritance money on the home that her, BM and the girls were living in.

I suspect they were going to be doing this anyway, buying the other lot. We already know she had approved the sale of the Indiana house. I would think there were plans as to what to do with the proceeds. Was this a 1031 tax exchange by any chance?

BBM

You mean, destroy their credibility.

I'm glad at times this doesnt work.

In the kidnapping trial of Tammy Moorer, her cousin, Donald Demarino, testified about a photo he allegedly saw of Heather Elvis. Demarino said he saw the photo while at a family BBQ smoking a cigarette with Sidney.

When asked if he believed anyone would hear from Elvis after seeing the photo, he said 'no'.

The defense asked Demarino about his past use of drugs and his criminal record.

The defense tried and failed to destroy his credibility. Tammy Morrer was sentenced to 30 years.
Yes, and it was delightful to watch in person.

I don't understand. BM owns the company. His pay is the profit/loss from each job, less operating expenses and taxes. He doesn't get double time. Are you suggesting he did a half hour of work on Sunday to cheat his employees, who he was paying to drive to the job? If so, how do you justify them doing no work? Did they do double no work on Sunday? JMO

Sorry. I read that on realtor.com. Should have checked additional sources. See attachment.

His alibi is beyond shoddy.

His behavior is inexplicable.

If we are to believe Andy, the vehicle GPS contradicts Barry’s account, and Suzanne suddenly stopped communicating mid conversation.

Then Suzanne goes dark, and BM last sees her in bed early Sunday Morning.

Then he heads to a job site, which reeks of alibi building. Nothing was done to set up the job for his workers, he left the wrong tools, and left his room stinking of chlorine.

When he arrives on scene, BM all but declares his wife dead, pushing this insane mountain lion story. A story that defies all common sense, as mountain lions don’t typically toss bikes, and leave no trace of themselves and their victim. The average person knows this, and a hunter and outdoorsman even more so. Still, he’s pushing this garbage, despite knowing better.

The CBI and FBI descended quickly, apparently realizing that something was very wrong with the picture they saw.

They didn’t release a missing poster like in the Berreth and Watts cases. They didn’t start holding daily press conferences, or doing any of the things they always do when an abduction is suspected. I don’t think they were making a guess here.

What they did do, is execute two search warrants on the home, and spend 3 days excavating Barry’s job site.

Since then we’ve seen a man acting contrary to human nature, who refuses to do the one thing that really matters in a missing persons case (utilizing the media to get the word out).

Instead of appealing to the public to find his wife though, he’s more concerned with defending himself.

I’ve seen this before. Incidentally, all those guys are in prison.

I couldn’t possibly care less about Barry’s wet t-shirt contest in the river, or whatever else TD saw. There’s plenty more to care about, and draw an inference from.

I wonder if prison commissaries have peanut butter?
I hear you! :p:p:p
