Can G F M shut down this account of TN’s? It’s just making me angry at this point. People are still donating. It is sick.

Did Lauren say something about TN tonight?
Yes, that she has tried to connect with him and he has not responded.

ITA and besides, I know you know what you're talking about. You actually do this for a living.

But I've always been told that co-mingling means...it's now community property. That's in California.

And you're also right that once co-mingled or invested in joint tenancy or any similar instrument, the property - going forward - is joint and no one is going to go back and disentangle it (unless there's a divorce with lawyers on one or both sides).

Now that the money is invested in a home owned jointly by both SM and BM, if she is gone - incapacitated? - he can do as he likes with it (if she has to be declared dead, that's a different matter, but if as some have surmised, he can use his Guardianship from Indiana...well...oof).
Funny this is coming up - CA is unique - community property is recognized - in my state we don’t care about that IMO it’s really about how the Property deed reads - doesn’t matter where the money came from to purchase joint property if it’s held Jointly with right of survivorship - when you die your joint owner gets 100% - however we just had a situation today where a fiancé called and her soon to be married partner died and she’s been paying on a mortgage To a house they both live in but the deed is in his name alone because he bought the property alone - guess what ? I was surprised that if she could prove they co-mingled funds and paid mortgage out of sourced (Her individual account) funds there is a chance she can win against his parents (intestate- he has no children so we go up In The family chart) But it’s all about that money trail - The thing is married couples usually don’t even think this way - joint accounts - joint property etc - but if one spouse is considering a move then perhaps that one spouse might have made some arrangements?

Tonight on PE, AM was talking about the search. He stated that he does not think that the perp had enough time to take Suzanne far, that she is nearby and not well hidden.

  • #805
I heard the part asking him re his last words to his wife, which he would/could not answer, but were there any questions about more than one hotel room or what he was doing all day on Sunday?

  • #806
Oh, sorry.
Oh, please don’t be sorry! :) Egberto was a great guess! You just never know what these liars will come up with!

Yeah I noticed that, IIRC he estimates 30-40 miles at the most.

You guys solved the mystery of the two people that saw her Sunday. Egberto and Eguardo.

I live south of the border and I've never heard of either name.

Well, that’s not suspicious as all hell.

It’s like he’s turning into Letecia Stauch or something.
Omg that could so confirm the timeline so if I had any doubt that he disappeared her I sure don’t now - he really so arrogant and —— I just can’t even

Hmm.
I wonder if Suzanne had made some arrangements and BM found out ?
And he snapped ?

I don’t think so. This strikes me as a very bold lie. There is absolutely no reason for Barry not to say who these people are, and when they saw Suzanne.

I wouldn’t be surprised if Barry told LE the same thing, and these people said “nope, we didn’t see her.”

We never got clarification on what that “later than previously thought” comment meant. I think it was later in that perhaps they thought Suzanne had been murdered on Friday or something, but later learned she was definitely still alive until some point on Saturday.
Yes the newly revealed messaging with her friend on Saturday is what I think

Wow. Thanks so much for this. It really makes things clearer for me.

Now I have questions:

1. Why did BM have to leave by 5:00 am to go to a job in Bloomfield that he didn’t start when he arrived?

2. Why did he only ask workers to do the job 24 hours in advance? Is that usual in his business?

3. Why didn’t he bring the tools the crew needed for the job?

4. What was he doing from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm in Broomfield and why did it necessitate the use of multiple towels?

Thanks again for that timeline. Awesome.
You’re welcome, @gitana1. As for your questions, I only wish we had the answers. And, until we get them answered in a manner that is clear, concise, and makes sense, things do not look very good for BM.

He may have been walking around as early as the night he returned home (the timing varies according to various sources); in order to see what LE was up to !
Seeing as how they've messed this up from the beginning, mishandled evidence, and allowed no less than 10 cops to handle her bike.
Imo.
Yeah, good thing he was there to supervise or this whole thing would be one big mess. MOO

So, Barry has NO problem calling out his employees on national TV because he’s angry with them for speaking out, BUT he won’t give up the names of the TWO people who last “saw” her on Sunday?

Right.

These people could essentially clear him of his wife’s disappearance or at the least make him look less guilty in the public eye. He would be shouting it from the rooftops, IMO.

Hypothetical conversation. Keep in mind Andy said it was difficult to communicate, not there was NO communication.

AM - Hi Sis, called to check on you and see how you're feeling. I know the chemo treatments aren't easy, I'm worried about you.

SM- Well it's tough I have good days and bad, but no hair loss, so I'm feeling blessed.

AM - I wonder if CBD would ease some of your symptoms? Have you ever thought of trying it? I read an interesting article in the ...

SM - No, Barry doesn't want me to try it, he prefers I ....
As someone who just lost her brother to colon cancer a month ago, I can attest to it not being unusual at all that she shared with her brother or that he asked about it in the manner described above. I read up on everything that could help my brother, and the first thing that almost everybody suggests when you're struggling with the side effects of chemo is medical marijuana. Depression is very common with cancer, I think it's a side effect of what your body is going through. There was nothing I would not have suggested or asked my brother about whether he had tried if I thought it had any chance of helping him or alleviating his suffering.

I agree - while so much seems to point to money as a likely motive, we're definitely missing those supporting elements, as you described them, that would push someone to murder. While it appears there is some significant circumstantial evidence that may point to BM, I think the prosecution has to develop a narrative of what happened and why, and will certainly need more than what we currently know about to develop a motive. We can't sleuth BM, so we just have to wait and see what more comes out..... some of what I wish we knew:

Had divorce been discussed? Who was wanting it? Why? What was the other person's reaction to this? Were any threats made? (Really hoping that SM confided in her friend re: this)

What was their financial situation? Were they stable with a high net worth? Were they highly leveraged (ie, business loans taken out against equity in the home, etc.)? How was BMs business doing in CO (both pre and post COVID)? What would a divorce mean in terms of $$ and/or BMs livelihood?

Were there any secrets in the marriage? Specifically, were there any secrets that, if they came out in a divorce, could be especially damaging to BMs reputation, business, etc.

I assume that LE is doing their due diligence on these sorts of issues - talking to the people who knew both SM and BM, pouring over financial records, and sdeep enough to bring potential secrets to the surface. JMO, MOO.
While we're not allowed to dig into, or sleuth, Barry - we can on our own and that includes talking to those who knew them.
We just cant talk about it on WS.
We also can't talk about financial situations but, again, we are able to do our best to find that information.

Ok, so BMs statement about the Sunday eyewitnesses (and the fact he is emphatic LS share this info) is beyond strange.

Any chance he is trying to apply public pressure on two people to lie for him? Maybe it is a veiled threat? That's the only thing I can come up with, short of him just thinking people are complete idiots and will believe him. JMO, MOO.

Didn't LS say he wouldn't even say where?
