Yes I can only imagine the cleaning - dusting and mopping alone - those floors will take a lot of effort
imo
TIA, TIA

Inadvisable. The last image of their mother to remain forever in their minds shouldn't be of a decomposed body.

Not to go on the search...to go to the vigil for their mother.

I'm half way to Salida, stopping to rest for the night. I teeter between annoyed and determined. Annoyed that me, my hound and my husband would drive 16 hours, pay for a week of lodging and food to help a stranger find something to bring the family peace; peppered with being annoyed that the proven horrible husband and father cannot be bothered to do anything remotely close. As a matter of fact, he's buying property, cars, dirt bikes (speculation), condos and out elk hunting. At the very least he should be everywhere and ecstatic that so many strangers would come together to help his family.

I hope we find some closure for the family, I also hope we find the missing link for an arrest and later a conviction of the terrible party(ies) responsible for taking this beautiful life.

House Size?

@Boxer
Agreeing w you. If in their shoes (50-ish couple & kids virtually gone, which I'm not), 3300 sq ft house would be about three times bigger than desirable.

As I said, appears 3300+ sq ft was a personal preference of BM or SM. Or maybe both?

Houses are financial investments for some folks, equity, not a 'home' or at least, only a temporary 'home'.

Houses typically appreciate in value as they are upgraded (smartly) during ownership. It appears there has been extensive landscaping and who knows what's been done on the inside at the M property.

You represent the best of mankind-someone who will go out of their way for strangers in need. You are giving your days, your money, and yourselves during this absolutely crazy time, for other souls. How can BM face any person in that town, or in his family, when the only thing that he is concerned about is public perception against him? He does not honor his wife, or his children, by hiding in the shadows. He should be shouting from the rafters. He should not give a hoot what anyone thinks, and should trust in his God that the truth will come to light. He is not a man in my eyes if he is too frightened to show his face.

Maybe so, but in my opinion, the M's home will likely be known in the future as "stigmatized" property. MOO

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! You and your hubby are doing an awesome thing for a complete stranger. Such a kindness. This is what America should look like.

Please be safe on your journey, and I wish you ALL the luck and prayers from our WS team.

You are such an inspiration. Thank you for going to Salida. I pray that you are instrumental in bringing Suzanne home. May God bless you, your hound, husband, and everyone helping to find Suzanne.

Ok, I have a morbid question, so please don’t take offense.

Would a skilled hunter cut up a freshly killed elk/deer and bury it with a human body?

If so, would dogs be able to hit on that or would it confuse them?

BM could have done the same thing AM is doing if,
he wanted SM found, the same way AM does.
That says it all to me, right there.
He certainly could have.. Way to show him up Andy and company! In my heart I believe BM knows where she is. If he doesn’t show up to search, he never had any searches of his own to start with. Jmo

If this were true, it would be a bombshell, imo...He would have to have gone back home, back to Denver, back to puma path, I don’t need names, I just need the time she was seen?
Because that narrows the window even more, 4 months to collect tracking log, etc. for one vehicle, one person, seems more than adequate...JMO
Then why did he not give the timeline himself? It was his statement.

Chaffee County Sheriff John Spezze said that, although liability concerns prevent his office from directly coordinating the search effort, his office is providing logistical support to assist members of Moorman’s team.

“Our (search-and-rescue) units will be on hand to assist with Moorman search team accountability and other search team coordination issues,” Spezze said in a news release. “Our crime scene team will be available to document and collect any evidence if found. We certainly appreciate this huge undertaking and want to offer support to facilitate their efforts.”

Thanks for going and we all hope she is found. As for being annoyed with “the husband” (as TN referred to him) don’t bother. He doesn’t care that you care so much so don’t give him a thought. His day is coming.

@TKG, bravo to you and your husband for being there for Suzanne and Andy and their family.

I’m not a super religious person but we know Suzanne was a believer. I bumped into this Bible verse this week and it struck me as fitting for the search. Sharing in honor of Suzanne. Please be safe!

Isaiah 42:16
I will lead the blind by a way they did not know; I will guide them on unfamiliar paths. I will turn darkness into light before them and rough places into level ground. These things I will do for them, and I will not forsake them.

It's odd to take part of the skull of road kill, along with the antlers

This is pretty explicit on how it is done and why.

I usually leave plenty of skull plate because once I only left a small skull plate area between the antlers and it split when I dropped it!

Removing elk antlers

Yes, I guess it does go to premeditation, bolstering his fictitious mountain lion story.

Thank you, your Husband and hound for going to CO to help in the search for Suzanne. It’s so heartwarming to see the kindness of AM’s friends, the professionals that are involved, and literally strangers from all over giving their time, efforts and money, rallying around AM, supporting him in his search to find his little Sister. Wishing you, and all searchers the best of luck! Please stay safe, our hearts and prayers are with you!!

May the search be successful in finding Suzanne and bringing her home to her Daughters and the Moorman Family so she can be laid to rest properly, as she so rightly deserves.

In that taped interview where the guy interviewed him surreptitiously BM said that he got there after the bike was found. Who did find it? I don't remember that part.
Every time I think about how LE has not even confirmed that her bike was actually found, I ask myself why.

And one possible answer that keeps coming to mind is, maybe her bike WASN'T found.

Possibilities:

There was a bike but LE has evidence it wasn't Suzanne's.

There was a bike but LE has evidence it wasn't ride-able.

There was a bike but it wasn't found by LE and LE knows it wasn't there at the time of the 911 call and therefore isn't relevant to her disappearance except as an attempted alibi.

Other possibilities?
