"I'm out there to find my sister," Moorman said. "I think everybody probably knows what happened. I'm literally just there to search — I need to find her, need to bring her home, give her a proper burial and closure for my family. And that's my point. I'm not about finding somebody guilty or trying to inflict punishment on anyone. That's not my job. That's the law enforcement's job."

He said he plans to meet with CBI and the sheriff's office Wednesday.

He said he has four places of interest he wants to search.

'I'm going to get results': Brother of missing mother Suzanne Morphew arrives in Colorado ahead of volunteer search

Someone should be keeping an eye on Barry, if he's reading any of this his toes are probably on fire right now.

Red bolded : And his pants ... ;)

Blue bolded : A subtle hint that there is most certainly foul play suspected, and that the wheels of justice are coming after someone.

Wouldn't someone who's willing to help find their wife, if asked, be the first one with boots on the ground in the search simply because there is an organized search? Geez! Who needs an invitation to search for their mate and mother of their children? smdh
moo
Yes, from what I understand, it was pretty much an open invitation to anybody that has the ability to help search. IMO.

The latest 3rd hand info from LE via AM is that they don’t believe SM’s body was ‘well hidden’.

Your point still stands but as opposed to a dig site, I think it’s more likely a searcher would find partial remains/bones that hopefully can be identified.
Yeah, you're reading this the same as I am.
They actually suspect he did a dump and run.
Is that what you think too?
Maybe BM was hoping the fearsome mountain
lion would find her and dispose of her for him.
If that's the case, then searchers will simply be looking for scattered bones.
Wildlife would have taken care of the rest, IMO.

I'm a little worried about that too. Would he do away with himself to avoid arrest and facing the consequences?
I get the feeling he would. Like Fotis Dulos. They seem pretty similar in many ways.

Cleaning the cooler/s at the hotel is an interesting point made earlier. Hmmm

My main concern with this search is that we're
4 months out from the body being hidden.
How many rain storms have flattened tire tracks and freshly dug dirt?
Grass and weeds may be growing already on the site.
Unless they have a bunch of trained search dogs, I can't imagine how the searchers can
spot a dig site.
I also don’t want to sound pessimistic but if a lot of the searchers are from Indiana I don’t know how well they will handle the terrain. Colorado is rugged. But I hold out some hope nonetheless .

I think the spot where he laid down is where I would start the search, and let him know that.
Trying to recall who said that so I can go back and listen. I think it was Andy who said it on one of the profiling evil episodes? I think he said Barry was with another group of searchers. Someone in that group who was staying at the Airbnb with Andy relayed that information to him later that evening. Andy thought it was weird.

I'll see if I can find it.

"bring her home" - if they do find remains, AM won't be able to bring them back to IN - they will be released to her spouse / daughters and it will be their decision - IMO.
True, but I get the feeling he just means get her out of whatever dump site he put her in, and 'home' to be cared for by her family, even if it is her daughter's that choose her final resting place.

Yes, it is different terrain. But I bet a lot of them hunt or camp and hike, and travel to Colorado or similar places to do so. JMO

"Little is known about what efforts Barry is taking. It is reported online that he does take a friend to an area near Crested Butte where he collapses on the ground uttering something about Suzanne."

From PE web page
Wow. I wonder if Crested Butte has special meaning to BM and SM? IIRC she is wearing a CB sweatshirt in that photo of her cooking in the kitchen with glasses on.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In the video with Chris talking to brother AM he tells Chris that BM laid down on the ground when they were searching on Tuesday and LE seemed very interested in the area where he did that.

EDIT by Me for clarity. The place BM laid down on Tuesday couldn’t have been Crested Butte since it’s 95 miles from Salida.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
BBM This is what I heard as well. That he disappeared from the group to another location nearby and laid down on the ground. A friend that was with BM apparently took a picture of him laying down. LE is interested in this area. I don’t think BM also went and collapsed/lay down in Crested Butte. MOO

I sort of envision Barry being coddled by women - his whole life.
Oh, I agree. I feel his expectations of the female gender was cast, chiseled in stone, early on. Wow unto Suzanne if she failed to measure up.
So I'm guessing, there's no guilt, only anger, because this whole mess is all Suzanne's fault. And it just pains him, that she screwed up his life. Moo

I hope all the WS'ers find each other. You have such vast knowledge of this case and can share your findings with one another.

Those of us sitting back at our homes will be anxious to hear any news that is allowed to be said.

Good luck to all and God Bless.

On the P.E. show the other night the estimate is that 2/3 or more of the searchers are from Chaffee County and some other searchers have some serious hiking or mountain experience if they don't live in CO. Andy said that people will be divided up into groups based on skill level, and those who can't physically hike the mountains will have plenty of other ways to help.

Where ever Suzanne is located- the usual suspect has been there before. That said how far back does the phone tracking gps data go and couldn't his 2 years in colorado be searched to find the 7 remote "hunting" wilderness pings on da phone? This would save having to ask the kids where they went or the hunting buddies etc. The guy can be "tracked" as long as there was a signal and even if no signal up to the point signal lost. Do have computers that can speed a search like this up ? I'd go as far to say he could have been there lately to scope this site out -with his phone for possible dry run. Motown

Agree-
I've even wondered if BM and his hunting buddy who were both recently out hunting,
were actually out hunting for scattered bones
that might need re-burying or collected and re-deposited.
Wonder if LE trailed him on his recent hunting
excursions??

What if the spouse is arrested for murder? Does he still have a say?

Chris Coleman murdered his wife and kids. Sheri's family had to fight for years to bring their remains back to her hometown, but finally won.
