I have difficulty believing LE lied and told BM he was cleared when in fact he wasn’t. Remember, BM said LE was the one screwing up the investigation and ruining his life. (Paraphrasing bc I don’t remember his exact phrasing) MOO
If LE did indeed allow unnecessary trot-through along the road, shoulder and down the hill where the bike was discovered then shame on LE. If the bike was not properly handled as evidence then shame on LE. If it happened the way BM describes in TD's video (which I just watched, again) then shame on LE. They would have, indeed, screwed up potential evidence.

Less than 48 hours from now hundreds of people will volunteer to search for #SuzanneMorphew in Chaffee County. FOX21 News will be there to give updates about the search put on by Andy Moorman - Suzanne's brother. #FindSuzanne #BringSuzanneHome #Justice4Suzanne

IMO, this search is going to set a new precedent in how future cases are pursued. It.’s wild to think of the manpower and technology that is involved.

This is the future. Between cell phones and crowd sourcing perps don’t stand a chance.

BM has to be having a <modsnip> fit.
Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide.
The squeeze is on.
Hoping he doesn't pull a FD.
MOO.

I love that 60 people are coming from Indiana for the search, and the Salida community is helping assist them with food and housing. Hopefully the girls will see how much support is out there, how many people are doing this for them and their Mom. They are in such a tough spot.
Hard to fathom a tougher spot.
MOO.

Surely he is reading here and realizes how he is disliked.:):):)
His poor ego is so hurt, as he is not believed.
What a shame.:D
I don’t think Barry’s a big reader, if his spoken English may serve as a clue on this topic. His language, grammar and word usage are awful.

High-tech doesn't matter unless searches are implemented in relevant & correct locations. The trick is knowing those locations, and if you know the locations then high-tech isn't necessarily required.

Here's hoping to a successful effort!

BM wasn't there when the bike was found, IIRC. So how would he know.

From an Indiana newspaper.
More at link, this is just a portion.

ALEXANDRIA — Three weeks after announcing an effort to gather hundreds of volunteers for an exhaustive search of a mountainous region in central Colorado for his missing sister, Andy Moorman has his army.

Separate groups of searchers were to depart Tuesday and Wednesday for Maysville, about 150 miles southwest of Denver, where Suzanne Moorman Morphew was last seen on May 10.

Altogether, an estimated 500 people signed up to be part of a five-day expedition to locate Morphew, 49, an Alexandria native. Approximately 200 additional people – including personnel from the Chaffee County Sheriff’s Office – will meet them in Colorado, according to Lisa Patz, a family friend who is helping Moorman coordinate the search.

The group's search efforts will begin in earnest on Thursday.

They really are in a tough spot. I hope they have the strength to go without their father if he doesn’t want to go.

Perhaps they could go with school friends and their families to help them get through it. I hope they realize these people are coming in to try and find their Mom and how much it would mean to everyone to see their appreciation for all the efforts put forth.

There must be people from their church that would support them if they are afraid and stand by them.

I worry that their father may not allow them to go to the vigil and they must do whatever he decides. Praying for strength for these girls.
Praying for the girls, too.
IMO, it's all too painful and close for them to participate in any way.
Too hard and not necessary.
MOO.

Um yeah. Is there a reason to doubt that state and federal LE would not have those capabilities?

otherwise you’re just wasting bandwidth.

Inadvisable. The last image of their mother to remain forever in their minds shouldn't be of a decomposed body.

I think their appearance at the vigil is what most of us are thinking about.

DBM, poorly explained by me.

In thread 35 (I think) there was a few posts about some blue dots from the PE cell coverage and tracking info and somewhere called Cougar Canyon Point? - do we know what is around that area/near to that area except for the Wild Wolf Rescue Centre?

Oh yeah, I’m not saying someone on a bike would outrun a car. Only that it would defy logic to throw your own bike down a ravine and then try to run away in that situation.
SM could have planned to 'help' the potential abductor down the hill as they turned to traverse down the hill OR she may have planned to jump in to their vehicle and drive away. If I were in such a situation that's exactly what I would be thinking.

I get that. But, who will that uplift?
The people that attend the vigil.
We have no clue what these girls need.
Spiritually or otherwise.
No disrespect intended.

IIRC, AM did correct that in PE interview, CBI told someone, who told him(AM)

I, too, recall AM saying he got the info about the home smelling of bleach "secondhand."

Imho, info that gets passed around can quickly derail. I haven't been able to shake this thought from my mind regarding strong smell of beach: Did someone, perhaps, (referring to BM's hotel room), say that "BM's room smelled of bleach" and the person listening pictured it being BM's bedroom at home? MOO

What capabilities... high-tech or the process in determining 'correct' locations? Of course, LE has access to both resources... but access and implementation doesn't always result in success and sometimes LE has great success without having had to dip in to those tool bins.

good thoughts-

Can you just imagine IF her body is found as
a result of this volunteer search?
You're so right- it is WILD to think how this may affect future cases.
