BBM:

I don't think anyone here is being the least bit cavalier about their suspicions regarding BM.

In fact, I think it's quite the opposite:
Everyone here is taking their suspicions regarding BM's involvement very seriously, and is examining the reasons for those suspicions quite carefully.

There are a plethora of facts that point toward BM's likely involvement in SM's disappearance.
@gitana1 cited many of them in a post several threads back.
And what we know is merely the tip of the iceberg.

LE is clearly signaling that BM is their (unnamed) suspect in the case.
Multiple search warrants executed at the house, another search involving digging up concrete on a property BM worked on, dismissal of his preposterous mountain lion theory, no BOLO alerts, LE telling AM that BM hadn't been cooperating with them, etc., all indicate where and at whom LE is looking.

BM has offered numerous inconsistent statements about the events surrounding SM's disappearance, including his own actions and movements that weekend. These statements don't just conflict with accounts given by his employees.
He also contradicts himself.
He's having a hard time keeping track of his stories.

It would take pages upon pages to outline all of the reasons that so many of us here are highly suspicious of BM not just being a terrible husband to SM, but of being responsible for her disappearance.

In fact, it's taken us 37 threads to reach this point in our ruminations.

There's nothing cavalier about 37 threads.

JMO.
Bravo!!!

It really makes me question whether he has a lawyer or not?
I'm voting no, he does not.
Or if he did, he/she quit after yesterday.

@TKG and @NoSI : Thank you for your efforts to help find SM. Stay safe and healthy!

Prayers for All involved - may SM be found very soon.

Some people aren’t putting much stock in AM saying the house had an overwhelming smell of bleach because he said it was second hand. Here Lauren S. says that information was apparently relayed by initial investigators.
At 3:47

Also, I’ve never heard this anywhere else, but copied and pasted from the PE website. Says the neighbor walked through the house.

Suzanne Moorman Morphew
Suzanne's husband (Barry) reportedly leaves the home at 0500 hrs for a reported work assignment in Denver, Colorado. He remarks that he doesn't wake Suzanne. Reports say he texts Suzanne a Mother's Day greeting that goes unanswered. Hours later, Barry's daughters contact him and report that their attempts to reach Suzanne go unanswered. Barry contacts neighbor and asks her to check on Suzanne. Neighbor reports that she walked through house and can't locate her. She see's Suzanne and daughters vehicle there. According to reports, Barry asks neighbor to return and see if Suzanne's bike is missing, noting she may be on a bike ride. Neighbor confirms the bike is missing and the neighbor calls the local sheriff to conduct a welfare check.
But we don't know if the neighbor smelled bleach? We don't know who said that anyway, is that right? You'd think if anyone smelled bleach it would be the neighbor who would have entered first, according to that account.

I keep waiting for BM to sling mud at AM’s reputation, besides the publicity stunt comment.

I would think surely he would NOT speak ill of SM’s brother, who has an army of searchers headed to find HIS wife, but it seems as if BM can’t shut up.

If BM does try to smear AM’s reputation, it will make him look worse than he already does, IMO.

Honestly, I think BM is mad about the search, but also because he wants the “hero” attention that AM is getting. JMO
bbm
Oh, my.
I hope not.
But BM's words and actions are portraying a picture of a man who has to be the center of attention and doesn't like to be told "no"; imo.

Gigi, I am sorry for the loss of your beloved fur baby. :(
(((Hugs)))

BM may have referred to AM's announced 'massive search effort' as a "publicity stunt" because BM didn't believe AM was intending to actually do it. Maybe BM thought AM was saying it as a ruse to place BM in a bad light.

Now that it's about to happen, maybe BM will finally get it and have something different to say... he may even show up at the command center (if there is one) and actually perform in the effort.

This could be BM's last opportunity to do something positive, for his family and in the public arena.

Watch this clip of AM at about the 1:08 mark.

The clip is very interesting, but the expert said he does not know how it could be determined that it was a MALE. I still think one of the journalists needs to find this officer in a car and get the real story of how this is determined. IMO

I'd bet he's relying on 'legal advice' from his hunting or firefighter buddies.

Hmm. If the house smelled of bleach and the neighbor walked through the house, she may have included that bit of information when she called 911. LE would know what that meant immediately. Moo

I am worried, that this massive search, and the effort by so many, will not find Suzanne's body.
These folk will be devastated.:(:(:(.
Thinking of AM after the search.
He will need wonderful friends surrounding him, for a long time.

But BM will be overjoyed, knowing how smart he really is, and an entire army cannot solve the case.
BM will carry on, with more 'money making' efforts, knowing he is safe.
MOO.

I think differently

I believe no matter what happened to Suzanne, and no matter if she is found or not during the search organized by her big brother, two things will be true

~Suzanne will know she is loved and cared about, wherever she is
~AM and his army of searchers will know the amount of care and effort they put in to searching for her

My view/thoughts and what i want to believe is true

You might be correct because it seems to me that some of these clips are from previous interviews. We hear him say that about a publicity stunt yesterday, when it could have been 10 days ago when it was recorded. But, still, that he said it at all is thoughtless and awful.

It occurs to me that the Morphew's oldest daughter looks strikingly like her mother.

I don't know when the Morphew daughters actually arrived back home, but if early Sunday evening, maybe the two witnesses (if such actually exist) saw that daughter riding in a car driven by BM on Sunday evening and assumed she was SM.
I actually thought BM was referring to SM being seen earlier in the day, before she was reported missing. I’m not sure the exact time the girls got back, but it should have been after search had begun.
But you do raise a legitimate concern, I questioned in earlier threads, whether we had a stalking abduction/ mistaken identity. There is a remarkable resemblance.

Almost forgot....

* The bleach/chlorine smell at the house and the hotel room
* AM says that the CBI tells him the GPS data doesn’t match along with NOT taking a poly or voice analysis AFTER BM says he did so.

I’m sure I will think of more, but my mind is scattered right now after losing my beloved dog -Nola

Keep the posts coming because I’m relying on my WS family to take my mind off of it! :(
We lost our dog in January. It is so hard. People that don't have pets don't fully understand it is akin to losing a family member.

Sending love and cyber hugs your way.

RIP Nola (and Murphy)

A publicity stunt for what? To sell more hotdogs? Why would BM assume it's for anything other than finding Suzanne?
Out of all the stupid and insensitive things he’s said and done, this has to be one of the worst. IMO he has to denigrate the big search effort because it shines a spotlight, with huge neon flashing arrows and red flags waving in the background, on what he’s done to find his wife. Zero, zilch, nada, nothing!

Oh, sorry Barry, I forgot the useless note you left at the market. .

Take this for what it's worth as I've conducted no research to substantiate the accuracy of this information.

We have a friend who is a former college Athletic Director and head baseball coach who once, in an off-handed comment, stated he could always tell when a male is taking steroids. He said on a warm day, if the guy is wearing a tee-shirt and his nipples are erect, he's using.

Exhibit A.

Wow! Thank you for sharing this, @JosieMae.

I think Barry's theory of the mountain lion attack may have 'originated' from the sighting by LE, which at that time may have been understandable.

But the fact that he is still considering it four months later, after LE found no evidence of an animal attack, seems a bit unreasonable. His suggestion that someone SM had become close to might be responsible is interesting, though. I wonder if he was often suspicious or critical of people Suzanne associated with outside of their marriage.

I also wonder if there is any truth to the fired employee who was threatening his family, and if so, why would he leave Suzanne alone on Mother's Day?

Of course the abduction theory was the first idea.... bike in the ravine, but when BM gets back (at 6 or 9 pm) and hears later of a mountain lion siting (and with the knowledge that LE is not buying the abduction theory ) he uses a shotgun when a rifle is needed.... mountain lion, abduction, car wreck made it to the river, someone she knows, etc. )

He has certainly lost the respect of most respectable law abiding citizens and alienated the meth heads. What's left for him. He only will truly fit in with his future cellmates. Moo
;)Thanks for the chuckle concerning BM alienating the meth heads.;)

Do we know when the cougar was allegedly sighted by LE? From the previous discussions I was thinking it was Tuesday or so. Yet, BM called MG on Monday morning saying a cat got her. Does anyone remember when it was seen at the house?

I absolutely know that to be true. Had friends who competed in body building nationally.
And, BM is capable of mid-air shoe tying right after this photo, on this same day! Not an easy feat, lol.:D
