I agree. And MK said to AM “ohh I thought you were heading back (home) in the morning.” They were genuinely confused and didn’t know/weren’t on the same page about the search continuing.

I am not as hopeful for tomorrow as others are. I hope I’m wrong.

I'm not expecting much either. I got the impression that the PE guys and Andy are hopeful, but they are winding down and the next step is to wait for LE to determine if the evidence they've found is relevant to the case. I'm interested in whether or not LE will get a warrant to search the beach site again. I hope they will at least give an update tomorrow.

Is it possible that LE told PE they had to reel it in?

I feel like Andy really feels sad about the bad blood with Barry.. the comment in the beginning about hoping that Suzanne is alive and hopes to clear Barry... such a huge change of tune, it made me feel very uncomfortable. Maybe they're so close that he's hit some slight form of denial, hanging on now to the moments he has left before the truth hits hard.

with physical, mental and emotional stress, and now maybe dwindling adrenaline they could be really winding down.

I am just kind of at a loss. I thought tonight was going to be huge but..

All I know... is that we're all just waiting for justice and at this point it feels like it can't come soon enough.

wondering if there are any new trees planted at the home.

It sure looked to me like there were a couple trees newly planted with darker soil around the trunks near the dry creek bed feature (with the stone bridge over it).

That would then apply to PE, and maybe also be referred to in a jab as Police cutting off communication ie code 33.

Okay, I guess I meant request it. They're (more or less) on the same team and evidence and investigation needs to be preserved so... I would bet the PE guys and Andy would be totally receptive if LE let them know they needed to not release things the same way they have been.

Well LE can ask them to rain it in, but PE has the first amendment right to practice free speech, so they cant really stop them. However, the could decide to no longer share their findings with PE or potentially file obstruction of justice charges (but thats very unlikely)

I recall there have been cases for which LE has not reacted positively when non-LE had attempted to join in the investigation; it will be interesting to witness responses of LE across the country (and/or world) if/when the PE guys attempt to sell the model developed in the SM case (hundreds of amateurs and professionals) to be used in other investigations.

The burgeoning model has proven a worth so far, long before the SM case is resolved. More ground covered, potential evidence gathered, areas and items of interest tagged and logged, photo and document repository, etc.

It seems it should be an easy sell for use in missing persons cases... let's hope LE departments at large are receptive to the idea. It could become a huge business opportunity or a best effort for non-profits.

I personally think its great. A major issues LE enforcement faces when some goes missing across state lines or even county lines is that each department uses different software, making collaboration between agencies more difficult. This app however, would totally circumvent that issue and everyone in LE could have the same updated maps to work off of when executing a new search. I think the potential good it could do is amazing (ill refrain from getting on my adult missing persons soapbox) for LE efforts and increasing their ability to perform successful searches

One of my dear friends had a rescue Greyhound named Lulubelle, but unfortunately Lulu passed this last year after many happy years in my friend's company.

I loved that dog. She'd steal one of my shoes everytime I'd visit and take it to her bed, so I couldn't leave after my visit without spending the last few minutes with her.

Do we know if LE has shared anything with PE or spoken to them about the investigation? I know they released the information about the evidence they found the other day but have they said anything since then? They've been so tight lipped, I would think they would not share any details with them. I know AM said he thought they were interested in a few things, but didn't seem to know anything definitive, other than the alert by the cadaver dogs. I wonder if LE even wanted that to be made public.

MK confirmed an "article-of-evidence" referred to in the most-recent CCSO press release was "uncovered behind the home property line." CM said, "At the top and on the other side of the property line that's been collected. Law enforcement authorities recovered that and that is the press release."

MK also added "that was information that we directed based on corroborative testimony that we received"...meaning, the discovery and location of the item was corroborated by multiple searchers and that was justification for LE to arrive to that scene and recover that evidence.

CM confirmed AM picked up some documents that are "critical" to the investigation... but the PE guys are not going to reveal what they are... although it seems the documents they're referring to are the "tree invoices"...?

A "contact" person meaning someone else would seek her out for counselling or advice? I missed that part. At another time AM said she attended meetings but it wasn't clear if they were informative meetings or if he meant she went to a support group.

IMO it implies others could reach out to SM for comfort, advice, perhaps further assistance with DA/DV situations. I suppose that could include SM was a conduit for connecting others to attend a support group which she attended but there isn't enough info... only speculation at this point.

LE and CBI can tell AM that they will need to hold back info from Andy if PE starts letting it out but Mike and Chris know there way around LE they know what can get put and what can't so I feel it is more not letting the searchers know things that LE doesn't want out to the general public.
