It is all in the earlier threads. I'm not sure about how much he sold the business for. I thought a verified insider offered that information but I could be wrong.

BM sold his business for around a million plus income to an Indy-area landscaper. JMO & Speculation Only Maybe that income is no longer coming in...

Oh I beg to differ.

Law enforcement rarely names POI’s or suspects anymore. That’s why you have to look at their actions.

They don’t search your house twice, excavate your worksite, tell family members your truck data doesn’t align, or that you refused a polygraph, unless they are looking right at you.

Most importantly, Barry literally said “the Sheriff’s Department screwed this whole thing up from the beginning and now they are trying to blame it on me.”

There’s a reason he’s combative, and why he feels like he’s being targeted.

That’s because he is.
Thank you @MassGuy well said ITA.

It also serves notice that he isn’t going to let a potential buyer try to negotiate unreasonably due to any stigma about the possibility of a murder occurring in the house, doublespeak for “take it or leave it”

He may have already have had offers on house, people with low offers, trying to take advantage of this factor.

This may just be a reaction to that, serving notice, and funneling legitimate offers thru realtors. Higher price may be indication he neither needs or wants to sell house.
Say what? BM put the house on the market because he doesn't want to sell it?
That's a very difficult line of thought to follow which completely eludes me. Maybe I think too much (Occam's razor ) or am swayed by the obvious. Can you help me with this? TIA!

His worker said that when he arrived to the hotel room that there was a stench of bleach and so did his other worker once she arrived.
I'm having a major deja vu, lol. Haven't we covered this already?
OP is talking about bleach smell in the home. JMO
I have no reason to mistrust AM on what he was told ( or LS for reporting on it).
Always good idea to provide a link when questioning “ evidence vs. hearsay “...

Exclusive: Barry Morphew responds to explosive claims regarding the disappearance of wife, Suzanne | FOX21 News Colorado

Suzanne’s older brother, Andrew Moorman, brought up something he’d heard, following a search of the Morphew family home.

“From what I understood secondhand, they said there was an overwhelming smell of bleach in the home,” he said.

That information had apparently been relayed to him by initial investigators.

If he invested his $1 million plus her 500K inheritance that would just about deplete their cash on hand, If that was all the cash they had on hand on the Puma Path house. You have to factor payment to the IRS for his 1 million guessing about $300 K with unknown variables of their other income could be more or less. IMO no math whiz kid here. I sure respect the sleuthers with the numbers.

We are just sleuthers here - we don’t need evidence IMO - we take in what we know from our sources and formulate opinions and discuss those here
I believe there was a smell of bleach / chlorine at the home and hotel and you don’t have that Unless you are covering something up
JMO
Respectfully, when hearsay and pure speculation is repeated over and over until it seems to be evidence, it tends to focus suspicion on one narrative, one suspect. While the hotel bleach was collaborated by the three people who were in the hotel room, we have not one account by the people who were involved in house search...LE.
IMO, bleached house isn’t evidence, yet.
Hotel bleach may or may not be evidence, since LE hasn’t listed it as evidence. but three actual accounts are good enough for me.

My apologies, I’m trying to review and stick with the real facts, weed out speculation. At this point, we can’t lump the bleach to both the house and hotel.

Together they seem to overwhelm, separately, not so much.
I have reservations about the hotel, also, but concede on that.

Simply trying to maintain integrity, we have enough to believe bleach in hotel room, but not in house, two locations, LE would need to make statement about house, they haven’t. MOO

All due respect, we have no idea what LE has listed as evidence. Unless you know more than you let on! Bleach or no bleach, the behavior of this man does nothing to convince me he is innocent. Property deals, slinging trucks, refusing to participate or not acknowledging her searchers, not even attending her vigil.

My friend lost her husband to suicide about the same time SM went missing and she is visibly struggling day to day, still, 6 months later. She can barely pick up the kids and cook dinner. Having your spouse disappear would likely be equally traumatic.

I don’t believe that taking a critical look at BM is far fetched. His behavior is off. Even if we all process grief differently - I have seen absolutely no grief.

Just when you think you can't be any more furious at BM, he pulls another good one. Trust me, SM's family loves her and they are all devastated that she is gone!!!

JMO/Speculation Only BM was isolating SM long before they left Indiana.

In reference to the letter BM showed in the interview from SM- I think it sounds like it’s from a woman feeling sentimental and emotional. She was battling cancer for a second time and was possibly questioning her future. All the “what if’s” of cancer. How long do I have left? Etc. It breaks my heart that she beat cancer twice only to have her life end in such a cruel way. (Just my opinion and speculation after watching family and others battle the C word)

Sorry @Feistyomi i was channeling what I thought about another person who said BM isn’t a suspect. Got ya mixed up. But bleach. It’s pretty pungent and not typical for hotel rooms. It’s hard being a detective without the hard facts or knowing what actual evidence exists!

Perhaps only serious potential home buyers w/ bank pre-approval letters would get an actual tour?

IMO, it’s the land, the Arkansas River & the property backing protected federal parks lands where the $$ is on this property.

ETA: I’m surprised however by the HOA (yuck). IMO
I think BM himself will have to feed through all the inquiries first before anyone gets to see it. moo

Yes. He reverted to his tried and true tactic of bashing someone who has said things that don’t put him in a positive light.

So we have “meth heads,”and someone who isn’t believable because they’ve “served prison time.”

Interestingly, he never disputed what they said.

Then Andy is attacked for not caring enough about his sister, the same woman that he organized a massive search for.

The same woman who he immediately hopped on a plane for when he learned she was missing.

Of course Barry hasn’t lifted a finger, and life goes on. I’ve seen some cold murder suspects before, but this is shocking on another level.

What a sicko.

Respectfully, those who defend BM have no evidence nor a logical argument or feasible alternative, whatsoever, that he's innocent other than throwing out accusations and SPECULATIONS about Suzanne's family.
On the other hand, some whom have reasoned that he's guilty have cited many evidentiary facts that point to his guilt due to LE's actions and observations of BM's inconsistencies.

FBI agents are seen investigating plot of land owned by Colorado mom Suzanne Morphew's husband | Daily Mail Online

I mean Dailymail is an approved MSM source and they seem to be the only ones covering the case. AM told them the FBI informed him of the bleach smell at the house. i dont think they would have published it, if they thought he were lying and Im sure the FBI or BM would have made a statement denying the bleach smell at the home if it werent true. I dont LE is going to be confirming any facts with the public anytime soon. If we cant count on an approved news source that evidence was found, then we cant really confirm anything in this case jm0

I just keep hearing his angry defensive voice telling LS that AM is “ just doing this for a publicity stunt”.

And now his new statements just blow me away. @NatureLover I know that you are much closer to AM than any of us and we are infuriated along with you. JMO

I don't believe there is a 'his' 1 million or ever would be to put down on the Puma Path home.
If anything, the down payment was their money, likely provided by SM's father in Suzanne's name.

You are correct mam, per usual. Because her name is on the title she is entitled to half the proceeds from the sale of the house. As a guardian, BM would be required to put those funds in some kind of trust or bank account for SM that's separate from their marital funds. Guardians have to report to the court financial decisions or changes to their guardian's assets every 30-90 days, so hes being checked in on
