Absolutely right - IMO he will perceive this article as criticism so I fully expect he will react in some way, shape or form, because BM has shown us that he finds it difficult to regulate his emotions when he feel slighted. Get the popcorn ready!
Probably through his new fav reporter ?

I don't believe he 'asked' Suzanne why her siblings refused to show her love.

It's more likely that he 'told' her that her family didn't show her love, or at least not as much as he did, while reminding her of all the things he himself did for her.
I read that passage as SM asking her husband BM why her siblings refused to show her love. I did not read it as he told her this. MOO

Sequence of Events?
Theory, MOO, of how Saturday/Sunday may have gone down. It is a far fetched theory but I put it together trying to use the info we have as of now.
Presuppositions:
  1. MG has a crush on BM which he has been nurturing because it strokes his ego. She will do almost anything for him.
  2. SM is upset at BM. It is MD weekend, her daughters are away, and BM has worked Friday night, Saturday, and will be working on Sunday.
Saturday morning BM He begins cleaning up....,
<<<...sbm...>>>
He checks into the HIE, cleans his tools, and collapses for a few hours on the bed.
Later in the day he puts the bike story in motion.
He leaves Broomfield before the work crew shows up.
JUST A THEORY. MOO
:):) @OldCop sbm Great hypo chronology & post.:):)
:):)You just drafted the prosecutor's closing argument.:):)

BM will not be happy, his feathers are ruffled, we were meant to believe his narrative about the siblings not loving SM.

I wouldn't put it past him to try to belittle the sister in some way to make himself feel superior.
We likely will never hear from Barry regarding this but make no doubt he will have a few choice words and more regarding the sister in law and her letter to the Sheriff on behalf of Suzanne’s death investigation. IMO

One would think a spouse might enlist every friend he could think of to scour the countryside within a large radius.......basically every place that LE didn't look.
Oh, wait.......could that be the 200 mile radius thing he was babbling about?
IMO
She is not in this triangle ! Well BM maybe she is .
It’s not about having different rights, it’s about standard behavior in a situation like this.

I’d argue that the vast majority of people are so concerned about their missing loved one, that they don’t give a second thought to doing everything in their power to clear themselves, which includes taking a polygraph.

Well, in that case I still don't believe him, at least not completely. If he was isolating her and keeping her from her family like AM described, he may have been the one to suggest it to her on many nights when she cried on his shoulder. If she really asked, then I wonder what his answer was.

Some people who are controlling or emotionally abusive will attempt to paint themselves as the only one their partner can depend on. They may be jealous of anyone else their spouse is close with, or consider them a threat. A common tactic is to convince them that no-one loves them like they do.

Maybe Suzanne did wonder why her siblings didn't show her love, but I'm thinking BM didn't make much of an attempt to convince her otherwise.

I think Barry used the idea that none of her siblings loved her to move her to Colorado. This is what people like him do, they isolate people so they can control them. He will make it seem like he moved her because he was concerned about her, but he felt that her family had more influence over her than he did if they stayed in Indiana. I would love to hear the family’s side of what was said to them about the reason for the move.
I think they moved to Colorado because Barry loves hunting, and that house and land provided him the perfect place with which to do that.

He didn’t give a damn about what Suzanne wanted.

I think where the manipulation may have come in, is convincing Suzanne to move there in the first place.

I completely agree BM planted the seed, fertilized, and watered that garden! (I was just offering my interpretation of the quoted text).

The Donthe Lucas trial will be interesting To follow I bet they don’t have blood, bones, confession or witness, be interesting to see how they prove it.

The investigation into the 2013 disappearance of Kelsie Schelling is a perfect example of a Colorado case in which LE and prosecution have stone-walled the release of information while her family members have used the media to pressure the prosecution of Donthe Lucas, the father of her alleged unborn child. There is no body. The defendant has properly filed his intention to provide an alternate suspect defense, naming Doug Schelling, the father who has been so active in the investigation, as that alternate suspect. It should be quite interesting. The current trial date is January 25, 2021.
New trial date scheduled for Donthe Lucas, the Pueblo man suspected of killing Kelsie Schelling

Where can we read the letter from Suzanne’s sister?

I signed up to subscribe to the newspaper but found out there was a fee. I’m not cheap but I don’t read the Colorado news. Just thought there might be a link somewhere. If not, that’s okay.

So we all have to pay to read the letter?
I can wait.

I also think video will prove up movements of the players - I'm following little Tootie's (Bass) case and her murdering idiot (mom's bf) is on video putting the trash bag down the sewer drain that feeds the bayou. I'm hoping something similar comes out here.

Following too , oviedo . CCTV a great tool for LE to use . Fingers crossed BM is not as smart as he thinks he is

You have a good point. I have known men like that. It’s all about what made him happy.

Which is a good thing! First they all met Andy.
Now they have heard from Melinda.
Maybe BM thought the little town would not miss his wife.
He was wrong.

Sorry I am late responding. I am on the road—in Colorado actually—so am behind on the thread.
My license is in Texas, which according to the article that @Murphy1950 posted, is not a state that requires that disclosure. I’ll have to look back at my notes when I get back home. But I am thinking maybe while it’s not technically legally required to disclose info about a stigmatized property, it’s definitely better to do so b/c a buyer could still sue you if you knew a material fact about the house and did not disclose it. I’m still learning!

Nope. Pretty sure, like 99.999999% sure Texas you disclose. Used to be a broker here. And later a lawyer. Disclose disclose disclose. Keeps your nose clean and away from litigation. If you fail to disclose and know about it, it’s willful concealment. Duty to speak. Fraud by omission as I recall. Not commission.

Ita.

Considering the wording of that email with the fake message... it's a good bet who wrote it.
"Barry is just beside himself..."
Sounds like a loyal and devoted mother; imo. ;)

Or older sister (TN's mother) who'd just returned with the daughters from an out of state trip... JMO
