Personally I’d prefer if LE took a ‘say what you mean, mean what you say’ approach.
If it’s so obvious, just say it.

When I’m in the mood for riddles I’ll tune into the PE guys.
JMO
I see your point but LE is walking a very thin line. They can’t very well say BM is their prime suspect, but the fact remains, they haven’t left the house. BM was THE last person to see SM, and I suspect she was dead at that point. There was NO bike ride. BM insists there was and that LE screwed up the “crime” scene. They very well can’t call him out in a press release calling him a liar, which most of us here believe he is.

I don’t think LE are speaking in riddles although I’ll grant you PE seem to like driving us nuts. For months we’ve watched LE’s actions which speak louder than any words. We know who they are focused on without them ever having said it.

SM Communications?
I've never heard of Voxer, but it sounds like Suzanne found a way to communicate with her friends, and was not as cut off as I feared. Moo
@Fireflize Yes.
Also, if SM was planning a separation or divorce, maybe SM wanted a way to communicate w the two dau's on that subject so they used Voxer to keep certain info from BM? Just a possibility.

{ETA: I had not heard of it either, but ;)apps are like bands/rock groups/rappers.:D Nobody can keep up.}

Is it verified that SM had an iPhone? I don't remember any MSM stating the fact. As Androinds ans iPhones use 2 different systems. IME MOO
In one of photos used to spread awareness of Suzanne being missing, she is pictured with white Apple wireless ear pods.

I think that lead us to assume she also had an I-Phone.

I think they only things that have been missing from this case in the past few months are:

-SM’s body
-A witness that flips
-A newly elected DA that will take on the case

We have one of those things now, and possibly two. I expect to see an arrest and charges brought by the end of January or early February. The balance of the time will be used to continue to pursue leads and additional witnesses that flip.

I have the feeling that LE has a spectacular amount of evidence, particularly in the house and digitally after serving two warrants on the home.

Thank you so much for your optimism.

All I thought about today while raking leaves was how necessary justice is for Suzanne and for those who love her.

I think all LE has their reasons for being kind of cryptic with the wording and we will find out later just WHO they are directing some of their remarks to.JMO

Did you follow the Gannon Stauch case? El Paso County Sheriff Department tweeted out their press releases with a photo of a jigsaw puzzle with one piece missing. They did these frequently with remarks like “ we are getting closer to solving the puzzle”.
I have only followed two other missing girl/woman cases - Jayme Closs and Mollie Tibbetts.
I realize circumstances might be different, but in my opinion, the lead investigators in both those cases were much more transparent. They did their best to answer questions in front of a microphone. They were personable and they kept us informed.

And one of those ended in a ‘best-case scenerio’ .

Thank you for pointing that out. I am new to smart phones, but only have used Android, so much of it all goes right over my head.

Twitter tags tweets made with iPhones. SM’s last tweets dated In 2017 were made with iPhone according to Twitter. I use an iPad/iPhone and mine are tagged w/iPhone.

If LE can prove SM is deceased, they will save that announcement for the Arrest Affidavit when the perp gets charged with her murder, imho. That’s the way it was in Gannon Stauch’s case in CO.

"Anyone who may have engaged with Suzanne on Facebook, Instagram, Voxer, FaceTime or WhatsAp"

Forgive, I'm not tech savvy enough . Isn't it safe to assume that LE already has all the contact info/conversations from these sites or not?

Was there an alarming current conversation they found that are looking to validate?

Yup, that seems to be standard, especially in Colorado. The Kelsey Berreth case was the same way. As soon as an arrest is made, we’ll hear words to the effect of “...sadly, we no longer believe Suzanne is still alive...”

FYI @MassGuy if you get a chance the last 60 seconds of tonight’s PE video shows the video montage of SM. Very much worth a quick 60 sec look. MOO

I just watched that video, and it made me cry! It is so obvious Suzanne has people who adore and miss her. I pray someone will come forward with the needed information.

Another thing I noticed was that the PE guys still insist LE have not been able to leave that home. Hopefully, it’s just a matter of time now for the puzzle pieces to all fit together.

I followed those cases as well, and I agree that LE was more transparent.

However, in Mollie’s case, LE was quick to clear her poor boyfriend. That hasn’t happened here.
In Jayme’s case, I think they were so transparent because they had no idea who the perpetrator could be.

IMO, in this case, LE knows The Who, but can’t tip their hand just yet.

Those two cases are not in the least bit comparable to this one though.

Mollie disappeared on a jog, and because of that, the case was handled as a true missing persons investigation. We saw all the things we expect to see, to include flyers and frequent press conferences.

Jayme Closs was handled very similarly.

Suzanne disappeared under very different circumstances, and is a missing persons investigation in name only.

They have done almost none of the things they did in those two cases. That was the key indicator that there was no bike ride, nor was there a kidnapping.

This is being handled as a homicide investigation with a prime suspect.

The lack of transparency is not only telling, but absolutely standard. You do not handle a murder investigation like you handle a kidnapping.

ITA, but why? What do they have and what are they waiting for? Do they actually think he may crack? Do any of you think the daughters have been questioned without BM??

Naming specific social media communication apps is huge!

IMO- LE is appealing to someone in particular, maybe even putting a particular person on notice as well.

The FBI is back in town and met with CCSO and a detailed press release. Today was a win all the way around, I haven't felt this hopeful about Suzanne's case in months!
