I dug back through my own posts and found the first reference. Information comes from Nancy Grace. As I recall now, she had LS and others sound in. I'll post the video when I find it. Could be the one above, thanks, @swedeheart.

IIRC, the news of BM “rambling down the road and texting an employee at 4:00 a.m.” first came out during AM’s interview with Dr. Phil. I don’t believe he named MG.

I don’t recall MG herself ever addressing it in any MSM interviews though.

She did. She said she heard what she thought was BM's truck outside her place at 4am. She grabbed her gear(?) because she thought he was there to pick her up. Then a few minutes later he called her, frantic, worst night of his life, get a crew together, etc.

All paraphrased of course because I cannot find the original source for this.

My memory says the "worst night of his life" was Friday night and MG said that phrase while describing Saturday morning at the beach site with BM stopping work early to go "make the wife happy".

I think it was only later that we learned about the Sunday am truck sounds and texts, but I thought we knew about the "worst night" comment earlier ie when learning about Saturday.

Also MOO since this is just off my memory.

  • #764
This makes a lot of sense! I can see that scenario happening. Didn’t MG say he seemed like he had the worst night of his life when she talked to him early Sunday morning though? And she said he was just acting weird on Saturday at the beach site. Your idea still works either way. Something bad happened Friday and BM thought he could fix it and “make the wife happy” but he couldn’t because Suzanne was done. So he got desperate and angry...very angry...unable to control his rage...IMO

I’m curious about “the worst night of his life” comment.

I’m curious about “the worst night of his life” comment.

Dejected?
Sad?
Extremely tired?
Unable to express thoughts?
Rambling speech?
Crying? Tearful?
Odd comments?
Cursing?
Not his usual dominant/forceful manner of speaking?

I would be prone say “sounds like he/she had a rough night” after someone has told me that there had been a wreck, death in family, sudden separation/divorce, etc.

If it was someone I had known for years and worked closely with - sometimes just the two of us - I would have not hesitated to ask what was wrong. There is more to that conversation that has not been disclosed.

JMO

I also feel like there could be more to the “worst night” conversation. MG herself felt she knew BM well enough that he would talk to her. The unknown is whether or not she actually asked him what he seemed so upset about.

“He fired me because I gave up my phone, I wasn’t staying quiet and I was complying with CBI,” Gentile told Fox 21 News. “I feel like if he was innocent, he would have talked to me. I worked with him every day for a long time.”

Yes, MG didn't say why she thought he sounded like he had had the worst night of his life. She also didn't say what BM's response was when she said he was acting weird on the job on Saturday and she asked him what was up.

If Suzanne used the girls' absence as an opportunity to raise hard things, both Suzanne and Barry could've had miserable nights Friday night.

Around 8:30 am, Barry leaves for the Salida jobsite with MG, working there from 9 until 11.

Meanwhile, EITHER Suzanne's messaging stopped at 8:30, signaling something very bad happened right before Barry left OR Suzanne was free to message, unbothered, all morning.

When Barry sent MG home early, saying he had to make his wife happy, it was EITHER a deception (because she was already gone) OR he really did want to get in her good graces.

We don't know when exactly but it seems likely that Suzanne came to harm at 8:30, 12:30, 2:30, or 9:30.....before or after Barry may have been seen in Salida (shopping alone, possibly talking to JP).

Barry may have had a whole afternoon, certainly he had a whole night...

If he had a task to complete, did he complete it PRIOR to departing Salida, Sunday morning bouncing down the road? If so, was he racing to get get to Broomfield so he'd be there pointedly, for the time of Suzanne's 9 am bike ride from which he built his story?

Did he go to the wall to round out his alibi, removing capstone, moving dirt, solely to prove he was there, not here?

Why why why didn't he leave the Bobcat there?

There's got to be a reason dogs alerted everywhere it seems his Bobcat went. So, if he used it overnight, why not leave it in Broomfield, for his crew? UNLESS the Bobcat he used overnight WAS NOT HIS BOBCAT, but someone else's Bobcat. He couldn't leave it in Broomfiekd because someone would miss it. Monday morning. Say, in Salida.

I wonder if some of the delay in getting back to Maysville on Mother's Day evening owes itself to time spent returning a borrowed Bobcat.

When Barry pulled up alongside the roadway above where Suzanne's bike was discovered, by chance, was he pulling an empty trailer?

So many questions, as yet unanswered.

What interests me about the tribute video is the completely different look BM had at the table sitting next to Suzanne.
MOO his face is taught, face skin apparently pulled in a grimace and his hair is shaved on the sides possibly psuedo military.
My thoughts are:
Plastic surgery, still recovering
Long fast
Drugs
Some kind of mental illness

I have wondered, for many weeks now - WHO reported seeing SM in town getting a sandwich, around 4:00 pm? Although I have read the comment over and over again, I have yet to see who positively identified her there. Does anyone have some insight regarding that?

Also, if she was - was she with BM, or alone? If someone has that information, please enlighten me. Thanks!

About SaintGene – SaintGene

“It all started in an Indiana farmhouse without electricity. Sixth generation farmer Gene Moorman was born into the country landscape with a family heritage to match. From Christmas Trees to beans and a whole lot in between, Gene has spent a lifetime in the field growing for his friends and neighbors. At 85 years old, Gene is still seen today driving the Christmas Tree planter while dispensing his legendary “finger pointing” advice. “

I agree. Stating your impression of someone’s emotional state is just that: an impression. Since MG did not specify why she had that impression I didn’t give her comment much consideration. JMO

Such a murky time frame, Saturday night till check in at HIE in Broofield.
If truck went straight to HIE no stops at 4am, I would think she was disposed of either using a non trackable vehicle or close to house.

Recent case on news VG, the military investigators, Tim Miller and the search dogs literally walked over her buried remains. No alerts.

He could have been. As I recall, his bobcat was parked on the sidewalk with crime scene tape tied to it. The trailer was parked next to it. That doesn't mean he didn't use his on May 10th, but what about the lady at the Salida job site who heard machinery running about 11:30 Mother's Day weekend? I'm assuming that was Saturday night. Did he take the bobcat from that site or did he take a part off of it and use it on his? JMO

This was reported by AM upon his return to Indiana on an interview with PE. He stated the last time SM was seen was with BM grabbing a sandwich. He does not state who saw her nor how he was given this information.

Thank you, both! Shouldn't that be tracked down? Wouldn't one think that the person (or people) who supposedly saw her, would come forward? IMO, that is a VERY important part of this tragic enigmatic puzzle.

Presumably LE has tracked this down, but they are (understandably) not providing the public with information just to sate our curiosities.

If they needed info from the public they would ask, but otherwise are keeping things to themselves. Sounds like we won't get to know details until an arrest affidavit is released.

Yeah, the timeline is critical in any homicide investigation. They’d want to account for every minute they can around the time of Suzanne’s disappearance. Part of that would be when she was last physically seen.
