we still all found it interesting to hear BM. even if it was a nothing burger

I agree. BM sounds stressed and for some reason I like knowing that tidbit.

I'll do what ever it takes to get you back, except listen to anybody that calls me offering help to get you back.

When somebody calls stating they are hear to help find your wife, your first thought should not be " sorry i can't trust you" it should be how can you help?!?!. I can understand some level of distrust considering 99% of people think he is guilty but he took zero initiative to find out if the person was in anyway genuine, They said they were here to help, they could have had vital new information about his missing wife or new vital information proving him innocent. He has ZERO interest in even hearing what Chris had to say. HUGE red flag.

BM granted an interview with Lauren Scharf & Jamie Leary (she covered the love letters from SM to BM). I'm going to assume their approach was different than CM's. They could also be verified as legit professionals. If that's his style, then ok. IMO, CM came across as shady with a hidden agenda from the start of that call. If the caller wanted to help find SM, he should call the dedicated LE tip line for SM. Maybe he was caught off guard that BM actually answered and fumbled.

On a side note - families of missing loved ones are exploited sometimes for money. Example: I have your loved one, wire money to XX. You might get a grainy pic as proof of life. I have heard of poor families draining accounts, getting second mortgages. Then you have weirdos that call with false info just to stir the pot. All terrible, including some intentions of You Tubers, some of which I would not ask to help me find my missing goldfish. IMO

* Speculation *
Well, because he knows what actually happened. "..No one else knows the truth..." IMO

LOL you made me laugh with the gold fish. I agree with you , I think if Barry is going to talk you have to almost act like you are on team Barry . They have to earn his trust fully ... then he’ll talk more to you .

Imo, BM gives interviews with females cos he thinks they will believe him and won't challenge him like a male would.

I'm certainly not going to discredit them because they are female. I think they are capable and have seen zilch to say otherwise. I also don't think they can have the wool pulled over their eyes by the likes of BM. I'm also not confident in saying that's the only reason BM talked to them. I do think their credentials and approach mattered in getting an interview(s). IMO

I agree with you, and I wasn't discrediting them in any way if you thought that, I'm sorry. However, I do believe BM has an inflated sense of being superior to women in general, which is why I think he only speaks to female reporters, I feel he thinks he can control the narrative better with a woman. ETA - i know what you mean, I'm not a fan of him personally, liked the other guy on PE though think he should have a shot at getting an interview.

Do you think Barry has an attorney ? I’ve never seen anything that says for a fact he does. I would think an attorney would advise him to just stop talking !

I was really looking forward to CM's "interview" with BM.
Then with one sentence, he managed to almost make me feel pity for BM, and feel a lot of disappointment with CM.

That phone call was entirely unprofessional and I'd have hung up on him too.
Chris from Youtube?
He might as well have said "Bob from Idaho".
Or "a totally rando dude looking for an audience so I used a high profile case as a hook" and then delivered a giant nothingburger.
"So cringe", as my kids say.
Very disappointed.

My two cents.

Thank you. Do we know if anyone else mentioned the training?
This article from Nancy Grace’s Crime Online had a lot of interesting tidbits:
‘We’re in the dark’: Missing Suzanne Morphew’s family waits and worries two weeks after Colorado mom’s mysterious disappearance [EXCLUSIVE]
And this:
Husband of missing Suzanne Morphew refused polygraph test; truck data doesn’t line up with alibi, family member says | News Break

And from a Daily Mail article:
Suzanne's husband Barry Morphew, 52, has said he was away on a training course for his job as a volunteer firefighter in Denver, Colorado, when she vanished. The 52-year-old is currently staying at a property close to the marital home and has been joined by friends who have flown in from his native Indiana. Morphew was pictured leaving the property along with friend George Davis shortly before CSI investigators arrived to search his home on Tuesday.
Husband of Suzanne Morphew is having a 'difficult time' as diggers continue construction site search | Daily Mail Online
(It should be noted that DM articles are known to have inaccuracies and they often toggle together tidbits from other news sources rather than doing all their own investigative journalism.)

There are probably more, but it has always been vague as to who is the source.

And I’m speculating but I guarantee you her daughters assumed that Barry was spending Mother’s Day with her or they probably would not of even gone camping . It says right there too he refused a lie detector test ,.. and I’m sure lots of people would disagree with this .. but if your innocent you won’t deny a lie detector test .

I honestly don't think so, which is bonkers to me. He probably has one for their joint property ownerships - whatever those legal proceedings are in IN. At a minimum, at least have someone who can field calls or make a public statement on behalf of the Morphew family. BM appears to just play it day by day. Who knows. I think LS has even speculated that he does not have an attorney. IMO

That’s so crazy to me too that he doesn’t have a lawyer. Especially after all the speculation that he’s guilty . Do you think it’s Bc he’s so worried about how he looks , and having a lawyer would possibly make him look more guilty ? I mean he is just all over the place it seems like , it’s wild .
He really does seem to just play it out however he wants to!!

Regarding the call, I think it gave me all I needed to know about his character so it wasn't a total waste, clickbait or just a trick to gain viewers.
Who has he trusted since Suzanne went missing? Nobody to my knowledge, he handed flyers by himself and that's all.

My Opinion Only:
Barry needed an attorney so he could take control of everything that belonged to SM. Barry cannot afford an attorney for advice. He will retain an attorney when he REALLY needs a criminal defence attorney should he be arrested for SM’s “disappearance.” I strongly suspect $$$ is why SM disappeared. Someone was not being honest about their less than optimal financial situation and the only way to keep that secret was to silence the person who was about to find out. Just speculation on my part, naturally!
