To simplify the timing of the story significantly.

Sometime right around the time that his wife goes missing, a husband starts doing any number of very odd things, like scheduling a job in a remote town in the wee hours of the morning on Mother's day with no supplies or equipment onsite. The hotel room smells of bleach even though the hotel doesn't use bleach for the pool or cleaning. And also around that same time his vehicle GPS and his phone start disagreeing about where he says he is. And also about that same time, LE has enough evidence to get a judge to approve digging up someone's newly poured foundation, and a field in the middle of nowhere.

Anything I forgot?

But as was previously stated, timeline should be precise so he doesn’t have an alibi to fall back on. It must be airtight. Justice will prevail but it’s harder without the body. Especially after all this time.

They had plenty of evidence against OJ. I’ve seen the brilliant Johnnie Cochran work. He got OJ off by first selecting a mostly black female jury.
Then he played the race card, portraying OJ as just one more innocent black man the white folks were lynching on false charges of raping a white girl.
Speaking of OJ & Cochran: Cochran’s big “reasonable doubt” was “ four burly men in watch caps”allegedly seen near the murders. Anyone remember that baloney?
Now see Scott Peterson’s new defense!
OJ was a different time. First time DNA was used. Though proven, the jurors ignored it. Cochran brought up the glove. Leather shrinks when wet. The prosecution pushed OJ to put it on. That was a fail. Your points are correct but the prosecution failed miserably. The judge didn’t help either!
Point being, it only takes one juror as OldCop said. OJ had all twelve jurors letting a murderer go free.
Speaking of jurors, never forget they let Casey Anthony walk.

I agree also with OldCop’s reasoning on why the case hadn’t been charged.
For that reason (timeline), the case may be growing cold. I miss all the folks who were following this case closely in the beginning.
I’m sure everyone is keeping up with the case. I just wish the perpetrator could be charged. So frustrating.

I think we are all still here, impatiently awaiting some type of movement, any type of movement. I am in just about every Suzanne Morphew group one can be in on FB, and every morning I go straight there (and here, of course) to check and see if there's anything new, even a tiny little bit of gossip. Anyone else doing that? It is so very frustrating.

Yes, it is very frustrating. I’m not on FB or any other SM sites, just here at WS and when I can, watch PE (Mike), and The Interview Room (Chris). But yah, I wake up every morning and 1st thing check Suzanne’s thread. Been working from home for a year due to CV19 and have my phone right in front of me at my desk, so I can check thread throughout my work day, and last thing I do before bed. Yes, I’m obsessed lol.
Suzanne is loved and has captured the hearts of so many who want her to be found, brought home to her brother/family, laid to rest properly, and see justice served for this 2x cancer survivor, beautiful soul who deserves nothing less.

Thank you @swedeheart for the updates you bring over and sometimes transcribe. I occasionally miss Chris and Mike’s shows’, so it’s very much appreciated.

Hoping for movement, and new info gets released soon.

I’m not on any type of social media except for WS. So many interesting cases to follow, albeit very sad.
Suzanne was beautiful and now loved by so many. I’m waiting for an arrest.

I agree with your thoughts.

I haven’t watched PE for months. So Chris now has a separate show? I didn’t know that.

Is he still on PE?

I don't bother following cases on social media since it's usually packed full of lies, gossip, rumors, self-styled "investigative journalists" & vloggers with about as much integrity as a mongrel dog, and precious few facts. That's a big waste of time for me to try and sort through all the junk to get to the truth. Plus it's boring, and annoying.

Let's all remember, OJ Simpson and Casey Anthony were found not guilty.
They didn't have the evidence to convict beyond a reasonable doubt.
They don't get a 2nd chance once there is a verdict.
Let's be patient and get this one right.

BBM Excellent examples of 2 people the majority of Americans feel were definitely guilty!

My understanding is that PE was created by Mike and was his own show, and Chris was a recurring guest on PE, until he decided to start his own show- The Interview Room, which debuted in January.

I either heard or read somewhere that the 2 gentlemen, Mike and Chris, might appear as guests on each other’s show from time to time. :)

I wonder if anyone is still watching BM's finances? Did a large sum (such as from the house sale) suddenly go missing out of an account that is not substantiated by an equipment or materials purchase?

Sure hope so. Follow the money to the motive.

It would not surprise any of us if anything Barry had his hands on went missing. Missing wife, missing money.

Any new woman that attempts to stick around with him might want to consider having a GPS locator implanted.

Same here, just WS for me. I appreciate the content restrictions here so very much. Keeps the discussions rational.

(Sorry to be off-topic, but what other cases are you following here on WS? I need to be occupied while we wait for justice in this case. Thanks!)

I find the Karlie Guse, Asha Degree, Breasia Terrell (very recent and unfortunate update released today) and the Alexis Sharkey case. I hope Suzanne gets justice soon, i would rather justice come slowly then mess up our one shot but I hope there is closure for her family and most importantly she receives justice soon

Hi. Gannon Stauch case, Jennifer Dulos case, Tylee and JJ Vallow case. There are others but these three with Suzanne Morphew have captured my heart. I do believe all will receive some form of justice.
Gannons killer is awaiting trial. Justice will come swiftly for Gannon.

I’ve been following the Maya Millete case and Alexis Sharkey case. The latter has been very slow.

Earliest Criminal Case using DNA Evidence?
OJ was a different time. First time DNA was used...
@Love Never Fails sbm bbm Thx for your post. Not gonna debate about prosecution or defense strategies in ^ trial or the outcomes either. You're right: OJ case* in which victims were killed in 1994, and trial started in 1994, was a fairly early case using DNA evd, but not the first.

The distinction of first person convicted of murder based on DNA fingerprinting evidence belongs to Colin Pitchfork, an Englishman** who raped & murdered two girls, one in 1983, the second in 1986. After his 1987 arrest & 1988 life sentence, imo it's safe to say the DNA testing & analysis for that case was done in 1988 or before. That UK conviction pre-dated OJ's trial by six years.

"In 1987, genetic fingerprinting was used in a US criminal court for the first time in the trial of a man accused of unlawful intercourse with a mentally handicapped 14-year-old female who gave birth to a baby."***

* June 1994, Homicides of Simpson & Goldman. (Then presumably, DNA resting & analysis for case). Nov. 1994.......Jury is sworn in.

I'm not doing that. I think it would drive me completely crazy. I only check in here about once a week, hoping for some new information.
