Or....

Wasn't there a firefighter on seen?

What if he, as a courtesy and not at considering that a crime might've occurred, picked the bike up, tossing it in his own vehicle? Which would mean LE didn't touch it at all! And moreover it could already have been moved back to PP for safekeeping.

Imagine if, as the main actor here pulled up, he demanded to know -- as did 400 tours guy-- why the bike had been MOVED. Manhandled by 10 man hands. Whelp.

You can't KNOW where a bike HAD been if it's not there now .... unless you were there when it got there.

LE may in fact have had NOTHING to do with the recovery of the bike!

JMO
Wow! That sounds very plausible!!!

Good information here regarding the gravel, @KindaSleuthy. Just a quick question. Do you have definitive information regarding her usual bike route?
“Locals say she would not have ridden the shoulder of US50 to get to CR225 because it too dangerous.”
I am not understanding this statement. She gets to 225 directly from PP and would not have to bike along Hwy 50. From her home she would have 2 choices leaving Puma Path. All would require turning left out of her driveway as PP dead ends shortly after the Morphew home. I am attaching a couple of maps to the post because I think it’s easier to visualize what I am trying to say about possible bike routes.
Coming out at the end of PP would place her at the 225 intersection where she could go left to Fooses Dam or right, which would take her to either 226 up the road on her left, or on up to Hwy 50 right past where her bike was found.
If she turned left off PP at the dirt road before reaching 225, she would be on the road that leads to Monarch Spur RV Park and the lake/dam at the S Arkansas River. From studying the map of the area, SM would have about four different routes that are basically out and back on the same road and another one which would provide a circular route on which only the last quarter of a mile, (from the 50-225 intersection), would be the same. This last route could be traveled in either direction.
I have drawn out the possible routes on one of the attached maps. All assume she has taken a left out of her driveway.

Route 1 would go to the 225 intersection, then left to Fooses and the southern part of the Colorado Trail.
Route 2 would go right on 225 and left on 226 just before Hwy 50.
Route 3 would go to the left on the dirt road before the intersection of 225 and to either the RV Park or the lake where she would turn around and come back.
Route 4 would go right at the intersection of 225 then up across 50 to the northern section of the Colorado Trail
Route 5 would go towards the RV Park, cross 50, and then circle back to the CO trail where she would cross 50 again.
Routes 4 and 5 both cross Hwy 5o which is a very busy roadway.
MOO
Edited to correct map.
OLDCOP - It is an honor to interact with you. I’ve been a fan forever. The map with all of the routes confuses me. From the home I’ve only seen two ways to get to CR225 by bike.
The front way exits the sub onto US50, turn left on 50 and 350 yards later turn left on 225. This is too scary for most bikers.

The back way crosses the little subdivision bridge onto a path that leads to what I call the 225 spur which some maps call Puma. Following that you hit the main 225. Go straight to Fooses or turn right to go to 50. The back way was explained as the route Suz took because of the pretty view of the river.
You show a direct route to 225 that closely parallels 50. That must be a foot path as I don’t see it on maps.
Way back in time on a Facebook Suz site they showed the half-assed video from that ambush reporter and a very clear video showing the back way. They also showed a short clip showing how dangerous it would be on 50.
Those videos and the narrative are my only source of info on the bike routes.
I hope this answers your questions.

What do you make of AM’s missing coolers comment? I think there was dismemberment involved. I know people have disregarded the hrd dogs hitting at 3 separate places. But I think where there’s smoke there’s fire. BM sending his undercover buddies to those sites while the fbi was looking at them makes me think there was something there at one point in time.

@Megnut sbm Oooh, good one, a possibility I had not considered.
And not even necessarily a firefighter. Could have been a well intentioned Good Samaritan, thinking SM went 🤬🤬🤬-over-teakettle, is injured, limping around in a daze, unable to bike home, then coming forward - My pickup/SUV is right here. I'll take this back to SM's house for her.

Just a possibility, not a conclusion. my2ct.

I don't recall ever hearing before that BM graded the river lot on Thursday, only that he "worked" there Friday night, according to MG.

“Barry had worked on the beach site Friday evening,” Gentile said. “Saturday, he had asked me to clean it up and rake it out, because we were going to bring it out to level – so it would be a beach sand and not muck.” ‘I’m not the other woman’: Second contractor speaks out about Suzanne Morphew investigation | FOX21 News Colorado
You’re correct. I don’t if the neighbor contacted police or just happen to stalk to them when they were doing the search & busting up the concrete.

I watched two of the FBI searches and they did not dig up the Longhorn Ranch or Beach areas. They just used gpr there. I still think there’s something there.

"Suspending" Reasonable Doubt?
@steeltowngirl sbm Thanks for your post. Not sure I understand the phrase about "suspending" reasonable doubt, so am repeating part of my post:

"CO Jury Instructions state the prosecutor must prove each element of a crime beyond a reasonable doubt to find the defendant guilty." * bbm
"IOW, a jury finding multiple elements of a crime true Beyond a Reasonable Doubt, but on one element - death - only a "likelihood" must find the def not guilty." *
Just trying to clarify my post, as it said nothing about "suspending" reasonable doubt. my2ct.

ETA:
From your post - "If and when the case goes to trial, they will bring evidence to prove she is deceased."
Yes, agreeing prosecutor will present evd of SM's death, but emphasizing the jury must believe, Beyond a Reasonable Doubt, that SM is dead. Not just likely that she is dead.

* my post #50 on this thread

Right. “Suspend reasonable doubt” was just my lame phraseology for removing or ending any reasonable doubt. I was mixing it up with the phrase “suspend disbelief”. Apologies for causing confusion.

To be clear, the prosecution must demonstrate beyond a reasonable doubt that SM is deceased, and also that the defendant has committed her murder. That is a far higher burden of proof than proving that it is “likely.”

So I’ve also thought he most likely wrapped her in a tarp ... I’m glad you think that too. Surely Barry owned one or two also ...You make the best points, that makes complete sense Bc he is going to want her to be somewhere that no one can disturb . Wow.
Moo
What about all the missing ice chests we hear about early on? Didn't Andy mention none were found? I'm prepared to delete this post if my memory is wrong.

ETA - I see belatedly @Janeumayer also mentioned the coolers.

There is a 3rd possibility. I don’t have the links but: Remember the elderly woman in the nearby apartment who was woken by the sound of equipment running at that site late at night (11pm?) She only remembered it was on Mother’s Day weekend. It was discussed here on Websleuths and other sites at length.

I speculate that it was Saturday night and it was Barry’s Bobcat making the noise in a failed attempt to bury SM ... scared off by the elderly woman’s apartment lights and/or someone else’s.
I think the above because in my experience, in times of extreme stress, we seek out the FAMILIAR for solutions. BM had graded that lot Thursday, Friday and with Morgan raked the beach part Sat. morning. He knew where the ground would be easily dug, he knew they were going to pour the slab on Monday and her “grave” would be covered in concrete.
bbm. Isn’t BM’s story that he would be working in brookfield on monday? Who poured the cement at the riverside property?

Sorry @KindaSleuthy. My map does kinda look like one of those hurricane spaghetti models.
I am attaching a closeup map of the Morphews’ neighborhood. (Interestingly, Google Maps now shows their home as the Morphew Hope Foundation!?!?) I think you might have been looking at the wrong home originally. The Morphews had the S Arkansas River between their home and Hwy 50. You can’t exit their neighborhood directly to 50. You have to either go out to 225 from Puma Path and take a right to go up to 50 or take that dirt road off Puma Path to go down to the RV Park which has an exit onto 50.
Is that the area you mean?

First, I'm enjoying your posts. Thought provoking.

In the beginning Andy stayed very neutral. IMO, as he learned more about the case he came to believe, like many of us here. BM is responsible for Suzanne's disappearance. Naturally, that is going to be reflected in his interviews.

I don't think Andy implied BM dismembered Suzanne. At her height and weight she could fit inside a large cooler without doing so. Trust me- there have been cases where while discussing what could fit in a large cooler. We've had posters call out their height & weight and climb in one to prove it. Andy stated he has never been in the PP home, so no he didn't search there. IIRC, his implication was actually that he was told no coolers were found at the home. Who would tell him that? My guess is the same source who told him Barry's vehicle data didn't match the account he gave to LE. All MOO-

Everything you say makes sense. I must have been looking at the wrong home, like you said. I guess it doesn’t change the bike tire/gravel scenario because the photos, drone shots and videos show Puma Path having the darker gravel.
Thanks for clearing that up.

Article at link below, dated 9/3/20, includes info regarding CBI agents bringing up other concerns to AM- queried Andy about why they couldn’t find any coolers at the Morphew home.

Snipped from the article and BBM:

Moorman said CBI agents brought up other concerns as well.
“They did ask us, ‘why can’t we find any coolers at the house?’ And I said, ‘well I have no idea. I don’t know how many they had to begin with,” he said. “But I assume, as a hunter and a guy that maybe camps, he would have a few, and they couldn’t find a single one.”

Since the subject was coolers (plural) I made the assumption of dismemberment.
Also, the only benefit of putting a body in a huge cooler would seem to be concealment. Most of the spec is that it happened at night, so no need for concealing. Who knows? We don’t need missing coolers to make Barry look suspicious. Lol
As I recall, Andy also said that the CBI told him Barry wouldn’t take a lie detector test. I have a GBI agent two houses down and she said that would not be likely have been divulged to a relative. She laughed and said if he was a suspect it might be different. I have been interviewed by the FBI and they were stone-faced. Attempts at humor or questions were met with a stare. Also, I ask myself - why would the CBI travel to Indiana where they didn’t have jurisdiction when the FBI has field agents?

More than concealment, containment. IMO

@steeltowngirl No apologies needed.
But thanks for posting to clear up that you understood my original post.

Beyond a reasonable doubt on all elements - including death - to find def. guilty of homicide.
Yes, we agree!!!:)

O/T
Suspend disbelief? Years ago standing in line for cineplex tickets, I overheard a pre-teen say confidently to his buddy - My dad already saw this [sci-fi] movie and said when watching the special effects, we'd have to suspender our disbelief. ;):D:cool: Mouths of babes?

That would have been a concrete subcontractor hired by the prime contractor.

Right. A juror cannot convict someone of murder beyond a reasonable doubt if they're doubtful the murdered person is dead.

I think Andy gave Barry the benefit of the doubt . He went in thinking she was abducted. It was Barry’s behavior that made him question things and yes there are things certain agents will tell family . First it depends on the agent , second it depends on the family member . There is no way Andy could of lied about that Bc that could be slander . Andy wasn’t slandering Barry he was/ us trying to find his sister to give her a proper burial .
The dismemberment theory I think is too far fetched. Barry isn’t going to dissect and cut her up . No way , that’s not how he would want to remember her . This was VERY personal to Barry. He may of gently put her in a cooler only to transport. If he’s guilty .
