It could have been just after midnight on Saturday morning, and she went to the job site later on Saturday to ask about the keys.
Folks- what was the time lapse between the alleged hearing and the reporting to LE?
You think she’s reliable?
That was Mother's Day weekendthat’s not what she said. she said mother’s day weekend.

Very plausible. MOO The swiftness of the conversion of her assets to does color prior events.Someone mentioned recently a possibility of Suzanne never returning home after dining on sandwiches at 4pm Saturday in Salida with BM.
I'm leaning toward a premeditated crime BMDI. Suzanne could have been harmed on the drive home then tucked somewhere on the truck bed and driven to a pre-planned location at any convenient time.
Would they drive into town in his truck rather than her personal vehicle? Would he lure her into the woods on pretense? Maybe he carried some things needed in the bed of his huge truck. ie., an item such as a blanket, Yeti, tarp, rope, tools, axes, generators, well, we just don't know. I simply cannot go to dismemberment as it shows only a particularly incurable evil psychopath capable. What I'm trying to say is that I think she remained whole of body until burial or disposal.
Perhaps there was a pre-dug hole for some purpose. If premeditated, everything was in position.
AM stated he never got closer to his sister's home than the driveway.
AM also stated Detectives were scouring the area of the incident with the bike and the river while he and his team went a different direction as not to interfere with their Investigation.

Agreed.
Theory : I do think that it's possible the bobcat touched her remains at some point in time --if Suzanne is deceased which I think possible.
Then, if the 'cat was used in BM's other places of work-- the cadaver dogs would've smelled something.
I think the reason LE called it a 'false positive' --if they did say that (I will go and check back in the timeline); is that they dug and found nothing.
But that doesn't mean the dogs didn't pick up the odor of cadaverine.
Yes I know dogs aren't 100% accurate.

In following other cases, I've learned that some types of forensic testing, evaluation, and analysis have substantially slowed during the pandemic so LE agencies are waiting many months for answers. More patience is called for under these circumstances than in ordinary times.I agree. So if true, how is it that people are so confident that justice is just around the corner? Where is this new evidence going to come from?
MOO And if she went to site on Saturday morning, she would have been speaking to BM and MG.The way it's been presented in the media, I get the impression she told LE about the sound she heard, when they came around for the search, and began talking to neighbors.
As far as I can gather from what's been reported, she would have had no idea it was the husband of the missing local woman that was working on that particular job site in the days prior, so she'd really have to reason to report the noises she heard. Until of course, LE came around asking questions.
I do think she's reliable as far as what she heard, but we still don't know if it has anything to do with the case. He was supposedly hired for dirt work there, but clearly he wasn't the only person working that site, since she did speak to other workers there when she asked about leaving keys in the equiptment. It could have been another worker doing something, and it could be completely unrelated.

MOO If she heard noise on Friday night, she would have gone over to the site on Saturday.Trying to track down which night the neighbor MB told LE she heard machinery noises, I found this in the DM:
"Mary Branson lives next door to a home being built by Suzanne's husband, Barry Morphew, and says she shot out of bed when she heard a strange sound coming from the construction site late on May 9."
-----
"The following day Branson went over to the construction site and asked workers whether they had left keys in their equipment. They told her that, whilst they often left keys on-site, they hid them in safe places." Woman 'woken by loud machinery' near where woman went missing | Daily Mail Online
Not as helpful as I'd hoped, even though they give the date of the 9th (so, late Saturday night), because they also state BM is building the house next door (he's not) and that MB "shot out of bed" (she never said that - in fact she said she layed there for about 30 minutes listening to it).
Highly unlikely it was BM and MG she spoke to the following day, since that would have made it the 10th, and neither of them have been reported to have been there that day.
Dumb question, but I'm interested in hearing opinions- we're inching towards the one year anniversary of Suzanne's disappearance. Do any of you think that date means something in terms of making an arrest? I'm thinking the existing evidence- is what it is, at this point. What more could they discover unless a new witness comes forward, is there any hope of that? Is what they have enough for a DA to sign off on? If not, what's going to tip that scale? Only One Bite at the Apple - so they will patiently wait for years if need be?
Hilarious. Gotta love the Daily Mail. Barry wasn’t building the house by any stretch of the imagination and Mary Branson didn’t shoot out of bed. Cracks me up to read their stuff. Can’t imagine where they got the 9th as if they knew with certainty when the woman, herself says she didn’t remember.Trying to track down which night the neighbor MB told LE she heard machinery noises, I found this in the DM:

If she heard noise on Saturday night, she went over on Sunday.
Hr son arrived on Sunday.
The workers will know what day the neighbor came over about noise.
Sheriff knows is not disclosing.
Daily Mail reporting is a mess. They get a lead, then in the story the ordinary facts and questions seem to be sent through a gibberishing machine.

Does anyone think it is a bit odd that the employees ‘fessed up’ to leaving keys in the equipment to an older neighbor who was questioning them? If it was me my senses would have been on high alert and I would not let her know keys were on site. I would wonder if she was asking on behalf of another person.
IIRC In earlier threads the discussion about construction workers not being allowed to work on Sundays came up. Did I dream that? I tried searching the threads but even after all this time on WS, searches are still a challenge for me. I wonder if workers she talked to would have been there working on Mother’s Day, a Sunday.Trying to track down which night the neighbor MB told LE she heard machinery noises, I found this in the DM:
