I previously posted that a good way to get closer to the truth is to follow the ami by not who may have maliciously provided the dose, but rather who else in her network was using ami or flex recreationally. I believe the lethal dose came from sources that "party" with it, rather than treat horses with it. There are plenty of forums of "field reports" of kids taking 6-12 "ami"s and reporting on how it affected them.

Also, when kids get involved in hard drugs in high-school - the kids that want no part of it (morgan) but know about it are often viewed as a liability. They get alienated from the group and potentially harassed to keep them quiet. Other times the group will attempt to convince the outsider to "party" with them and in bad cases (maybe this one) trick them into doing it by dosing them while they are unaware to get them to change their mind - or to bring them down off their "high horse" by making them as guilty as the rest.

In college and high school I witnessed instances of people being dosed with all sorts of drugs -- for purposes of pressure, blackmail, sometimes hazing or just a "joke". The days of spiking a punch-bowl with a few hits of acid are over. Kids have access to full-out narco out there.

I was a very bad kid in high school (in the 80's). I was prescribed Elavil. I decided to try to "get high" with it. Alas, it does not make a person "high" and it is not a fun experience. I will refrain from describing due to the sensitivity of the subject at hand. Needless to say, I could have easily died, in retrospect.

Today, kids have many more drug options, they have the internet and they have the benefit of years of idiots like my teenage self trying stuff out.

This really does not seem to be a drug that kids are fooling around with at parties or trying to get high with today.

in case like this is it so important to get more than one view/source and we can't. I still see no murder and the stalking is pretty vague as well. Am I the only one, because I don't want to keep posting against the grain in this and there is no other forum/thread here for those of us who do not see any outside crimes commited.

No. You're not the only one. I am on the fence about all of it. But I want to be extremely sensitive, especially if one of our posters is a parent of the victim. So I am not sure how much farther any kind of discussion that does not assume the account or beliefs of Morgan's family are 100% accurate, can really go.

I came onto this thread horrified, fascinated and scared to death by what I was reading on the blog. As a former stalking victim myself, I couldn't help but put myself in Morgan's shoes. I was about the same age when it began happening to me.

But, I rapidly found things that didn't make sense to my logical lawyer brain.

I am very willing to stay open but the circumstances essentially preclude my concerns from being analyzed in a manner that can resolve any inconsistencies, contradictions, etc.

But, what happened to Morgan is listed here as a crime and it is assumed that her death is connected to crimes against her. Thus, she is a victim on websleuths as is her family.

I surely accept that but with that I must also accept the fact that at present, it sort of makes it impossible to discover the truth.

You know what? It's frustrating to me but it's okay. It's a great site here, free of the offensiveness and nonsense of other sites. So, while I'm frustrated, I understand.

So for now, I can only hope that something breaks this case open, like a new investigation, a lawsuit, something, so that the discussion can become more productive (for me).

You are not alone. I'm trying to look at all angles, but logic leads me to suicide. (I still see no way of anyone entering/exiting the house all the while administering medication and nothing heard.) The stalking is still open, but it could have just been a boy throwing rocks at a girl's window to get her attention, then it got blown out of proportion. I don't know, but will keep reading and thinking for a while.

I would be more wary of the stalker when she was out and about...where there were no cameras or dogs or parents.

It seems when she was at friends and all these securitiy devices werent available the stalker would have wanted to make his presence known to send a message "You arent safe anywhere."

I have been wondering about this also. It seems it would be difficult to predict the behavior of a stalker. He stalked her from room to room but not location to location. Toni admits freely that she was not versed in the behavior stalkers in general and so I also wonder why they were ok with her comings and goings. When I say "ok" I mean they did not seem to take extraordinary precautions as they did when she was at home.
This is a question to ask Toni tonight on the WS Radio program.

I believe the reason why the parents were not very concerned because she was among friends, she went from car to a friends house, someone was with her, she wasn't alone.

It is possible that the stalker is a young teen, unable to drive therefore his stalking was only around the house and the one time (we got a hint to come) that M saw a car following her twice, suppose the teen knew someone who had a car and duped that driver to follow her for some reason. Just guessing now.

I'm wondering if when the I's had quiet nights is when it snowed. Stalker's tracks in the snow would be a dead giveaway or will we learn in later blog post of foot tracks in the snow?

I have been wondering about this also. It seems it would be difficult to predict the behavior of a stalker. He stalked her from room to room but not location to location. Toni admits freely that she was not versed in the behavior stalkers in general and so I also wonder why they were ok with her comings and goings. When I say "ok" I mean they did not seem to take extraordinary precautions as they did when she was at home.
This is a question to ask Toni tonight on the WS Radio program.

If she was my loved one....I would be most on alert when she was not where I could see or protect her. If she was so scared of the stalker why would she go out on her own.

I understand they were not experienced with stalkers....who is? It seems to me that common sense would dictate that a stalker could follow Morgan beyond the driveway.

Even an adult with no license for whatever reason, or just not a car of his/her own. Or someone who lives paycheck to paycheck and made a rational decision (for once) regarding gas prices and driving around. Someone married who's spouse would question extra fillup charges on the debit card? Not sure how big this area is but I use a quarter tank of gas per day just driving within my city and I'm a stay at home mom. If I suddenly filled up another 2-3x/week from driving around I KNOW my husband would raise his eyebrows.

How would they know that at that point in time? Would you not be SAFE rather than SORRY? Followed twice is nothing to worry about?

There are many, many times already where I've wanted to yell that expression while reading the blog. I know they say hindsight is 20/20 but there's just a lot of behavior that doesn't add up, even if you know NOTHING of stalkers, though I am glad to see now that they had added tons of security cameras finally (even though it seems like nothing came of it).

There were large stretches of no activity in August and September.

Yes, and they are available online for free from the National Weather Service, had to do it for a case at work for a few years back.

ETA: NWS has many years back (literally all the recorded years, for this town is goes back over 100) you can search, I just had to go back a few, for a similar reason we are discussing here. It was difficult to navigate the board, so I called the local number and they walked me through it. For only 2 months in question, I had about 40 to 50 pages printed out. All snow fall in exact increments and rainfall. It will even give addresses exact or closest by depending on what street you are on and where it is measured.

That doesn't mean I'll be admitting to a liking for dog food though, no matter who needs reassuring that they are not alone in their seriously weird dietary habits, honestly, you guys, everyone knows cat treats are soooo much tastier than milkbones. :wink:
