Zuri is so right, that if not you for being on top of this Worry Wart, I wouldn't have even known where to look without your help...and also I had a hard time following the tweets. :yourock:

I feel so bad for these two boys...sigh...William & Tyler you deserved better than this.

RIP boys.

Thank you all but I did nothing other than post unusual tweets. They were few and and far between but I could not find anyone else in court doing this. If I'd really been a star I would have taken my self to the court and tweeted ( but I don't have a smart phone nor do I tweet).

This was a no win all the way. I figured this would be the jury decision but at least she didn't walk free. Although I suppose the sentence could allow for probation. I hope not although I am not sure given the judge.

I just read the verdict & I hope she has to serve a respectable amount of time. Last night after I read Zuri's comment that it is not a slam dunk case, I tried to see more of the other side. I cannot get past the fact that she was the only parent those babies had & it's not like she left them in the vehicle while she was volunteering at a soup kitchen. I agree with the juror that she did not mean for them to die, but she sure was reckless for a very bad reason.

See y'all back here in March. Thanks again for your great reporting to WW.

Every time I see MCSO, I think it is Maricopa County Sheriffs Office. Too much CMJA.

This was such a tragedy and hopefully will serve as a wake up call or a reminder to some. SMH. There are no winners in this case as I see it. I actually hope that the prosecutor does not argue aggravating factors and the judge sentences her to 8-10 years. It is my hope that she gets the help she needs, a GED, and maybe some skills. HJ does not strike me as a malicious person, just a young mother who made a horrible decision.

I can't get CA out of my head for some reason who IMO is walking free and did not report her child "missing". HJ stopped her car and rendered aid to her boys as soon as she realized something was wrong. Yes she lied, changed her story, smoked a cig before removing her son from life support. I look at that behavior and I am stymied, but then again I am judging from a place of higher knowledge, competency, experience, and education.

I look at the pics and footage of HJ and I have compassion for some reason. For CA, I have none. Am I alone in thinking this?

I can't find any compassion for her, which is why I've stayed so quiet. My mind only goes to what she was doing that she deemed more important than her children.

If someone could get a research grant to figure out why that maternal, protective switch turns on in most women while they are carrying their baby, but never seems to engage in some mothers, it would be money well spent IMO and save a whole lot of precious little lives.

Worry Wort, thank you so much for your excellent postings.

I have 0 compassion for her or any woman who allows others to abuse and or kill their babies. IMO It is very troubling to me when our jurors can almost excuse children and babies dying by such means as roasting to death due to a mothers actions. My heart breaks on a daily basis over all the murdered and abused or neglected to death babies and children I read about here and elsewhere. It will never get better if those who are entrusted with punishing the guilty instead render not guilty in so many cases or give 5 yrs to the murderer of a baby. Cases like this one are not deaths because of an accident but deaths because of such callus disregard for a child s life. Most would never put their dog in a situation like this woman did much less children. I do not believe it has anything to do with a switch but rather the level of selfishness that some woman have. Children seem to be just an accessories to these types of mothers who always put their needs above their children. I was protective of younger children and babies my whole life even before I became a mother. My daughter is the same way and she does not have children yet but looks out for all children.

I had to go else where to vent my anger at this woman as soon as I started finding out more info on these boys death. I would have been banned for life if I stated my true feelings on her here. I hope she is given as many years as the judge can give her under the law. She rendered aid and called 911 because she found one son dead and the other one dying because she really had no choice. She lied to the Dr. who was trying to save her dying son.She was in CYA mode from the minute she unlocked that car IMO. I dug up a lot more then what was here. She has made so many horrible choices that IMO you can offer her all kinds of help and it would do her no good.Kind of like in one ear and out the other IMO.Honestly after finding out so much I am surprised the boys lived as long as they did. After CA I believe we need professional jurors who understand the law.Sorry if I sound harsh but I am just sick of the epidemic of dead babies and children we see almost daily.

Another juror speaks tonight. I am not sure even if they knew all the information they were not privvy to it would have made a difference. They seem to be ok just taking a middle of the road approach. We'll see how the judge rules next month. It's a sad course of events to see so much abuse and total disregard for today's babies and children by their parents and/or caretakers. MOO
