I wouldn't be truthful if I didn't acknowledge that I'm more than a little concerned about the prevalence of Norovirus around the country right now. We are going on a cruise at the end of the month, and I am getting a bit anxious about all of the illnesses that are plaguing the country at this time. I managed to stay healthy despite DH having bronchitis and walking pneumonia and hope that I will continue to be well. We will be well-prepared with Imodium, Pepto-Bismol, Tylenol, Mucinex, etc. but hope we won't need any of these remedies while we're on the ship. We'll wear masks on our flights and do our best to avoid crowded venues on the ship. I always have hand sanitizer in my purse but will also wash my hands frequently and avoid using public restrooms onboard. We probably spend more time in our stateroom and on our balcony than most cruise passengers. We never go to the casino where smoking is allowed, and we don't frequent crowded bars. If there's a good party band onboard, we'll sit in a lounge and listen to music, but for the most part, we like to watch movies or read in our stateroom or sit on our balcony and gaze at the sea and sky.
