I’m overly confused, lol. I avoided the news for the most part yesterday, taking a break from most things Covid. I was unaware we had so many separate threads.
I've had mine moved to the NY.

@Tricia Would you provide guidance in the changes in the Covid thread?

Post are being moved to other locations. I was under the impression, separate threads were set up for those wanting to post local information. I may have misunderstood.

I've enjoyed and feel informed from the national and international information on this thread. This information show patterns, developing trends and most importantly a way to connect/support/and keep in touch with our WS family and friends.

Respectfully looking for guidance....

A friend that owns a unique store brought me a huge box of new, very large bandanas! Guess what? They are the confederate flag design. I’m sure if I did wear one I’d die from a manner unrelated to Covid. What a shame 288 pristine, individually wrapped bandanas.
Well, that sucks. Is there any way to dye them?

Take a large black marker and draw a big X across it.

Fun fact: the nicotine receptors in our brain, that interact and tell us the experience of smoking is pleasurable, die out as we age.

This is the reason why some of you may know a senior citizen (in my case, it was my grandmother): who told you it was an easy process to quit smoking; that they "don't miss it"; and that they now hate smoking more than your standard lifelong smoker.

So, if you or the smoker in your life is a senior citizen, who has tried hard to quit the habit before and never had much success, it might be time to try again.

Because this time, you might simply be breaking the habit; and not the insidious bonds of nicotine, which is so addictive a drug partly because it adapts (smoke fast, nicotine revs you up; smoke slowly, it calms you down). :)
Thank you for this information !,.....all of it.!,

South Jersey (USA) reporting:

Yes....southern NJ and northern NJ are 2 different animals. Here we follow Philadelphia news and sports teams. Even the bad weather coming east imo cuts off at Trenton.

9 positives here in Cape May County. I don’t think that has changed in a week.

I don’t know when the last time the sun was out. Chilly , windy or raining. Most times lately have been all three.
I just want to sit outside for a bit.

I hope we don’t lose our euro reporting on here as I have grand babies, aunts, uncles and mucho cousins in a few countries. Please, don’t separate us. Please.

I've got a burnin' barrel, send them to me?

No, I’ll let him pick them back up, too many to waste in this crisis, heck, I might be wearing two bras in the future, who knows.

I didn't either! Mine was moved to Grocery Tips....which is fine, but it is so hard keep up with just this thread, and now keeping up with different location threads and other threads is going to consume my day!!!
I find comfort in keeping up with everyone and the tips and stories everyone are giving helps me out a lot!!

@JerseyGirl I noticed a few nights ago Chris Cuomo was doing a lot of coughing & one night his eyes appeared watery. Don Lemon is also coughing often, as is Fred’ Whitfield, and let me think......who else. Prob easier to list those not showing symptoms. What devastating news for Gov Cuomo to report.
For those interested in listening to Governor Cuomo, the daily links will be posted here:

New Jersey/New York - Coronavirus COVID-19

He is speaking now.

Are you hanging the toilet paper backwards?
It sounds more serious than that... like squeezing the toothpaste from the middle.

Well, I've got some relatives that would be happy to receive them. Interesting fact. They live in East TN, which sided with the Union and even fought the Confederates, yet today, they openly support the Confederate flag.

Not sure the answer is a forum for each state. Example: I was in Texas for the winter and have knowledge even now about this state. However, my home is in Minnesota, and I also have knowledge about MN. I really don't want to go to each state to post info.

Our public health department wanted to remind us, we know the first case is NOT the first case, the second case is NOT the second......
