Thank you for this information !,.....all of it.!,

South Jersey (USA) reporting:

Yes....southern NJ and northern NJ are 2 different animals. Here we follow Philadelphia news and sports teams. Even the bad weather coming east imo cuts off at Trenton.

9 positives here in Cape May County. I don’t think that has changed in a week.

I don’t know when the last time the sun was out. Chilly , windy or raining. Most times lately have been all three.
I just want to sit outside for a bit.

I hope we don’t lose our euro reporting on here as I have grand babies, aunts, uncles and mucho cousins in a few countries. Please, don’t separate us. Please.
I get you. I live closer to Philly in Gloucester County, but have a small condo in a Cape May County Shore town. Weather down there is almost always cooler than here, though today it's just as dreary. Waiting for a warm sunny day as one is much needed.

I was a heavy smoker for about 25 years and I've been smoke-free now for the past 22+ years. I took Wellbutrin and used Nicoderm patches to help me get off the cigarettes. For those of you who won't be able to get cigs now, are you able to get your hands on some Nicoderm patches? I thought it worked really well. Good luck to you! I can totally relate to your anxiety. o_O

@JerseyGirl I noticed a few nights ago Chris Cuomo was doing a lot of coughing & one night his eyes appeared watery. Don LE o s is also coughing often, as is Fred’ Whitfield, and let me think......who else. Prob easier to list those not showing symptoms.

Gov Cuomo's brother Chris has tested positive. :(

I thought this was the Global Pandemic CV19 thread but my post about Germany has been moved to a Germany only thread. (That has two posts only in it) Are there separate threads for different countries? So can I still post UK info in here? What gives?

I can't find the Germany only thread?
There is a UK and Ireland thread.

Oy vey.......this is not good.mhoo.
Can all posts about “ The Rona” be put here , then duplicated to a specific thread ?

how do you even know this... how do we find this out?????? So..this means we cannot learn what is going on in other states where we have loved ones???
How about by asking posters to first identify the state? Sometimes it was confusing not knowing. That way posters could skip over a particular state topic if they had no interest. However, I found I was interested in things happening in different areas.

Well, I've got some relatives that would be happy to receive them. Interesting fact. They live in East TN, which sided with the Union and even fought the Confederates, yet today, they openly support the Confederate flag.
PLEASE don't send to East TN - we have enough problems here already.
thank you
MOO

I didn't either! Mine was moved to Grocery Tips....which is fine, but it is so hard keep up with just this thread, and now keeping up with different location threads and other threads is going to consume my day!!!
I find comfort in keeping up with everyone and the tips and stories everyone are giving helps me out a lot!!
I had a post moved to a dedicated forum for PA. I was only one posting there. *shrugs shoulders*

South Carolina Department of Corrections

Offenders at Leath and Camille Graham Correctional Institutions are making more than 1,000 masks each day to distribute to workers at SCDC, SCDJJ, the Medical University of South Carolina and other emergency responders and health care facilities. Our women are making surgical-type masks and covers for N-95 masks, which helps them last longer. #WeAreCorrections

I'm not all that far from you. I'm in Bucks County, PA and yes we do need some nice weather. Today I see all the trees around me bearing blooms.

Two men allegedly involved in a robbery where a New York City police detective was killed in friendly fire were among the violent offenders on the list of inmates slated to be released from the infamous Rikers Island jail complex due to the coronavirus pendemic, until prosecutors intervened, multiple sources told ABC News.

Christopher Ransom, 28, and Jagger Freeman, 26, were charged with armed robbery in connection with the February 2019 shooting death of NYPD Detective Brian Simonsen. They appeared on a list of names obtained by ABC News that also included Viktoriya Nasyrova, 45, who was accused of trying to kill a woman in 2016 with a poisoned cheesecake.

The only thing that kept alleged violent offenders from being released was the intervention of the city’s five district attorneys, who said in a joint letter issued Monday that “we want to make clear that the categories of those proposed for release have, in some instances, included individuals who pose a high risk to public safety.”

My weeping cherry is almost in full pink bloom. It’s so beautiful it makes me happy/ sad.
Nice to have Philly connections here.

I'm a smoker, too - where I'm from they've prohibited the sale of both cigarettes and alcohol, classed as non essential items. We got less than 24 hours notice that cigarettes were to be added to non essential items and by the time I got to the shops they were sold out! Managed to get a few packets but am going to run out unless I drastically cut down!

I had to send in the Marines! My Marine son and buddy went on a mission to get me smokes. Mission accomplished and no casualties reported.

Anyone else not eating? I noticed it has been coming on the past week. Nothing sounds good. I would rather sleep through lunch than bother with it. I need to lose weight, so maybe this is a good thing.

I feel the same and after a week of feeling that way, pretty sure it's not CoVid (loss of appetite is a symptom). OTOH, maybe we both have a mild case. Which would be awesome. I also have a cough but I have allergies so that's fairly normal. I need to lose weight and in fact, seem to be doing so.

Yeah, it's too bad to move the threads from other countries out of this main thread. I can see that perhaps duplicating them might be nice, but we all need to hear what other countries are doing and keep the conversation going.

Yes. We are all being segregated. I hope the awesome Mods re-consider or let us vote on the issue? With all due respect.

Off-topic a bit. If you liked the music in that Empire State Building video-here is the long version of it.
