Maybe it’s just me but I thought he looked exhausted and like he was not feeling well. I don’t mean his gait or anything but his face.

You saved me. I'm crying so hard I can't see. Thank you.

It is scary. But, it is going to be okay. We have a protocol for running the government. One person, getting sick is not going to crash everything.

So apparently Saturday could’ve been a super spreader event. How is everyone else who were exposed?

I would think that his current medications/treatments would be masking his symptoms.
Just as a pain reliever masks the pain of an injury/illness. Doesn't mean that a person is not unwell, just means that their treatment is relieving their symptoms. Making them feel a bit better.

He is in the best place for treatment now. I think things will work out for him.

IMO

I hope so

We can hope and pray, but I've been hoping and praying the deaths of 200,000 here in the US would have been the impetus for some sort of positive change.
IMO

I agree.

Boris had more than oxygen! He was on an actual ventilator. And yet many Americans continue to stubbornly downplay this. It’s almost like much of society has returned to a pre-germ theory era while the scientists are desperately trying to prove that germs exist and bring us back to the present.

No, he was working from his prime minister Downing Street residence like it was just a bad cold. Later he took a turn for the worse and was rushed to the hospital, ended up on oxygen, can't remember exactly, ventilator? But he almost lost his life, at which point he took it more seriously.

No, Boris was never on a ventilator. He received oxygen therapy in ICU for 3 days and then went back to a normal ward for 3 days before being discharged:

Friday 27th March - Boris tests positive
Sat 28th - has "mild symptoms"
Mon 30th - chairs cabinet meeting by video, said to be coughing
Weds 1st - video to nation
Thurs 2nd - continuing mild symptoms
Fri 3rd - another video, still has temperature
Sun 5th - admitted to hospital as a precaution
Mon 6th - "in good spirits" in hospital but moved to ICU that night
Tues 7th - stable and in good spirits but staying in ICU
Weds 8th - responding to treatment and sitting up in bed
Thurs 9th - back on general ward
Sunday 12th April - discharged from hospital

PM's Covid-19 timeline: from 'mild symptoms' to a brush with death

I thought Trump looked quite pale. Hard to tell if he was winded from such a short video. IMO

no ventilator, he was just given regular oxygen.

I hope that Melania has not been with her parents. They are quite elderly.

Live updates: Trump arrives at Walter Reed hospital after positive coronavirus test

“President Trump was transported to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Friday evening after announcing that he had tested positive for the deadly coronavirus. Trump is struggling with a low-grade fever, a cough and nasal congestion, among other symptoms, said two officials familiar with his condition.“

[...]

  • Sen. Mike Lee (R-Utah), who attended Trump’s Saturday announcement of his Supreme Court pick, said he has tested positive for the coronavirus and will self-isolate for 10 days.
  • Republican National Committee Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel disclosed that she has also tested positive

Thanks, appreciate your facts.

You're welcome, I do love a timeline!

It does seem like many of those who end up in hospital manage at home for a few days before being admitted. The people I know who've had it (at home) said they felt worse a few days into Covid, which seems to be fairly typical.

I think the president will now feel what hundreds of thousands of people have been feeling.
Being physically isolated from everybody. Being attended by medical staff in full PPE. Having his vitals taken every hour or more. Being put on a strict diet, if he is feeling well enough to eat.

This may lead to more cohesive covid initiatives in the future.

IMO

I think the decision for President Trump to go to the Walter Reed Medical Center may not necessarily be an indicator of the severity of his symptoms, but rather an abundance of caution given his postion as President of the United States

It comforts me to know he is in good hands

My thoughts

Yes, some are reporting this as a “precautionary measure”.

I appreciate what your saying as I myself do not know anyone, personally, who has had it. But I am sorta freaked out about my son and daughter-in-law coming to Detroit for a Wedding then coming to see my 88 year old dad.

Well I'm a Momma bear so I will make the final decisions on this at that point.

Wow. Life has changed! But I'm tough, and we need to be!
