This was an excellent and informative article.

"After city hospitals were overwhelmed by patients who sought coronavirus tests, local authorities this week announced hospitals would only give tests to those who showed severe symptoms and obtained a referral from smaller neighborhood clinics."

I saw a Chinese youtuber saying the same as in the above MSM. It would explain the slowing down of diagnosis from the initial trajectory. They simply aren't actually testing and diagnosing an enormous percentage of those who are sick. There is no telling how many really have this or how fast it's spreading. It was a PR issue for them.

And I feel that it's overwhelmingly that way for most governments. They worry more about panicking people. They worry more about affecting the economy or the stock market. They will worry about that and then when they are forced to deal with it they are left trying to cover their tracks. I do not trust our government a whole lot more than I trust the Chinese government. What's the point of all these governments barely keeping track of people, let alone tracking who they are exposed to until AFTER they get diagnosed?

So Wuhan farted around and worried about a Communist part affair first and then suddenly it's an epidemic and they have to quarantine millions of people who were given no chance to prepare. In fact they publicly castigated those who warned others and told everyone else to say nothing.

How do you feel your own government would handle this? Better? Or do you think they would downplay anything and everything till they had no choice to admit at the last minute it's really a threat?
