My own feeling is that it was AB who bailed on MT, but did not want to withdraw, so as to not prejudice her defense. AB said (AIR) that he didn't quite remember who gave him that sweatshirt, etc.,(not the defendant) but he thought it might've been NP (after FD's demise) and AB then passed it on to JS. AB must've realized that the sweatshirt, etc., was evidence that should've been given to LE. Not to do so risked being charged with tampering with evidence (same as MT's initial charges), and possibly loss or suspension of his license. MOO
