It’s actually not uncommon for divorcing parents to be precluded from having new significant others present when the kids are. Jennifer was also precluded from having a new boyfriend around (not tgat she had one, or had time for one) when she was with the kids. And she had the kids most of the time. But she particularly did not want Michelle and her daughter present, because of some behaviors that may have been related to her by the children.

The no bf/gf rule was likely boiler plate. And it's easier to start that way on new visitation and loosen it than vice-versa.

Insofar as it was specific to this case, it was specific to Fotis' behavior of telling his children to lie about her. That's worse than anything MT could have said, because the children should have been confident in Fotis' guidance far more than MT's.

I don't disagree with you on this at all.

I think though that the Dulos v Dulos case had circumstances where JF had very real concern about the person MT spending time with her children. Sometimes BFs and GFs etc. are allowed and splitting partners are ok with it. In this case JF was NOT OK with it and she had a long list of reasons why.

The other issue is that originally there was more flexibility in the visitation arrangements for FD but with the caveat that MT and her daughter not be present. It became a sick game with FD and MT imo to play games with the childrens heads and have the lie to JF about MT and her daughter being at 4JX or off skiing with them etc. We saw in the LE Interviews that MT was angry at having to take her daughter away from 4Jx when the children visited and I bet she made FD life hell on earth on this issue every time the children came.

Manipulation from FD and MT was extreme and was psychologically damaging to JF as well as the children which is why Court intervention was also quite extreme. FD was denied visitation for a period and had mandated Court Order to seeing mental health counselling to address a series of issues identified by the Judge associated with how HE AND MT had treated the children and JF. The supervised visitation had to also be enraging for FD as he was effectively being treated as a child and watched and listened to and reported on each and every time he saw his children. Can you imagine the ego wounding and damage this inflicted on narc FD? MT fuelled this imo and the rest of the sad story we are hearing about in the this sad trial.

IMO there was no way with what all was going on in Family Court that MT could say that FD was 'WINNING" and that she would be the mother of 6 with FD having full custody unless she was both incredible stupid and delusional. Facts simply don't support thinking or believing even visitation conditions would change anytime soon around the time of the JF Murder.

True- MT actively supported his emotionally abusive parenting. But the judge only held the responsible party (responsible for parenting his own offspring) accountable for stopping it.
