Neighbor saw a plain clothes patrolman on the street. Wouldn't say why.

Wife received an article. About JFd.

Saw FD that weekend. Didn’t recognize FD. Shaved head. Riding on a scooter.

FD told him to save his surveillance. To prove where he was.

Neighbor asked about the children.

FD said hid phone had been confiscated.

FD said they needed to create a timeline. THEY.

FD spoke to him a second time, asked to come over to review his surveillance video.

Witness said it was a bad time to do that.

Witness had two cameras, added a third on 5/26. Continuous.

Witness knew PG. PG plowed their driveways. Drove a red Toyota Tacoma.

LE asked what he saw, what he knew of their relationship.

Downloaded video and mailed it to NCPD.

Explaining that he learned about the retention of video -- 60 days.

JS objected. Hearsay.

JS withdrew his objection!

LE had been looking for video on the 24th. In July he looked at May 29th. Emailed it to NCPD.

Witness saw odd movement of two vehicles.

Coupled with his odd interaction with FD.
Coupled with what was in the media....

8:04 am GMC Yukon pulling into 4 JC

8:56 am, red truck leaving followed by the GMC Yukon (rental?)

He found that inconsistent so sent it in.

Witness is a car guy.

JS as about AL. And another G. JS is asking about the witness whether be keeps track of all the employees, all the realtors who come and go.

JS asks if he had other clips, if he saw the Yukon on other days.

JS asking about the witness meeting MT. Child same age as one of his, same school.

JS asking about May 26, didn't recognize him. JS asking about FD and waterskiing. Were you aware that he cut his hair short --

Objection. Judge breaks down the question, minis the narrative.

Did he ever invite you to watch him do his waterskiing tricks?

Didn't get asked, didn't go.

Witness agrees that FD had short hair but never that short. Didn't recognize him.

Witness recalls saying that. Specifically THEY.

JS: and by "they", you knew he meant his attorney and him?

Witness says FD told him to save IT.

JS is engaged in some wordpucky.

Witness said FD said THEY had to do a timeline.

JS is trying to impeach the witness over IT and THEY. Totally different contexts!!!

State objects. Judge studying it closely.

JS has produced a paragraph which does not include THEY.

Judge sustains the objection.

JS asks again if the word THEY appears in his written statement? No. JS: would it help to refresh --

Judge interrupts. Judge doesn't even know what THEY refers to but won't allow JS to continue.
