Wow! I’m just catching up.

I’ll bet good ole FD thought he was about be be arrested for murder. It annoys me that he’s probably slightly relieved at this point.

My guess is they’ve found evidence somewhere, and they’ve been able to link it to the crime.

Hopefully we get some details soon.

ETA: It could be regarding that mat they were looking for, but I’m not sure how that would open the door to new charges.

Yes siree-the only thing that is really significant about this latest charge, is the fact that it keeps him handy, in a very small space, where they can find him when they want to bag him for murder officially.

I don’t think this is a ploy, as it’s not like they don’t know where he is all the time. He’s been free for a while now, so I don’t see the urgency.

Trying to recall. When they were first arrested did they outline anything other than the Albany Avenue spree?
Does this second charge mean it is somewhere else?

This means more evidence has been found/DNA confirmed. YESSSSSSS!!!!
I think he is going to be charged with murder. Tampering is a way to bring him in without the fanfare and maybe tell the Farber family before getting into court/media. Could be wrong. Just have a feeling.

I so hope that you are correct. This guy needs to go down. I do feel that LE have been on top of this from Day 1. Fingers crossed that more mistakes were made by FoHo. Can't imagine how the children recover from something like this. Thank goodness they have GF and her team advocating for them.

This is where I am at-not sure why each piece of evidence is a new charge. I mean, it makes me happy that he is locked up, but I am not sure how this works.

(a) A person is guilty of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence if, believing that a criminal investigation conducted by a law enforcement agency or an official proceeding is pending, or about to be instituted, such person: (1) Alters, destroys, conceals or removes any record, document or thing with purpose to impair its verity or availability in such criminal investigation or official proceeding; or (2) makes, presents or uses any record, document or thing knowing it to be false and with purpose to mislead a public servant who is or may be engaged in such criminal investigation or official proceeding.
Oh, IMOO, it would be an act separate from the Odyssey of Stupidity. Such as: disposing of anything to do with JD such as phone, email deletion, body disposal, erasure of computer files, receipts for items used in the commission of the murder or evidence presented to LE which FD knows is altered in some way: such as 2 hour (non)phone call to Greece.

I don’t think so. The charge is “tampering with evidence,” so it’s got to be related to the case itself.

Fotis Dulos arrested on new tampering charge in case of missing wife Jennifer Farber Dulos

Fotis Dulos, the estranged husband of missing New Canaan mother Jennifer Farber Dulos, was taken into custody Wednesday afternoon and charged for a second time with tampering with evidence, officials said.

Details of the arrest were limited, but state police said Western District Major Crimes Detectives arrested him about 2:30 p.m. at his Farmington home, which is also the headquarters of his luxury home-building company. He was held on $500,000 bond.

Dulos was arrested at his Farmington home and transported to Troop G in Bridgeport. Norm Pattis, Dulos’ lawyer, said he had no information about the arrest. bbm

I'm relieved they have taken this action. I was talking to the police person in New Canaan in charge of fielding online tips a week or so ago who helped me with a case on the other side of the country a few years ago. They couldn't say anything then, maybe evidence will start coming out. There have been multiple sightings of Dulos around the area, he likes Home Depot in Norwalk.
