What person, in their right mind publicizes that’s he’s not a psychopath? It’s just seems so desperate on his part (and his lawyer) to feel that they need to do that now. A pitiful attempt at damage control, imo.

I am watching on pins and needles! Officially I am ignoring my family at the moment. It sounds like he is going to be sent elsewhere?

There seems to be a lot of media there, and I think the expectation is that he will post bond.

Nothing official though, atleast not yet.

Maybe this is a ploy to get him into custody

Whatever was tampered with is a record, document or thing, not a person, so the charge does not relate to a witness, but a piece of evidence IMO. Another brick in the wall!

I really wonder if this recent arrest relates to a financial related crime perhaps from the civil case? That's where all the recent bricks have been falling! Wow!

2018 Connecticut General Statutes :: Title 53a - Penal Code :: Chapter 952 - Penal Code: Offenses :: Section 53a-155 - Tampering with or fabricating physical evidence: Class D felony.
(a) A person is guilty of tampering with or fabricating physical evidence if, believing that a criminal investigation conducted by a law enforcement agency or an official proceeding is pending, or about to be instituted, such person: (1) Alters, destroys, conceals or removes any record, document or thing with purpose to impair its verity or availability in such criminal investigation or official proceeding; or (2) makes, presents or uses any record, document or thing knowing it to be false and with purpose to mislead a public servant who is or may be engaged in such criminal investigation or official proceeding.
Oh, IMOO, it would be an act separate from the Odyssey of Stupidity. Such as: disposing of anything to do with JD such as phone, email deletion, body disposal, erasure of computer files, receipts for items used in the commission of the murder or evidence presented to LE which FD knows is altered in some way: such as 2 hour (non)phone call to Greece.

An attempted computer wipe would do it. Notice who wasn't arrested? MT. That means one of two things-either she did not participate in this particular act of tampering or has at least the beginnings of a negotiated plea requiring cooperation with LE.

A source familiar with the arrest details says Fotis Dulos is being held on $500k bond related to this new tampering with evidence charge. That is the same amount he bonded out for in June. He will need to come up with $35,140 to be released. @WTNH

I'm really disappointed he's bonding out. I guess he figures since he'll spend the rest of his years in prison he's dipping into his 401k again. It must be hell waiting for the big one. He knows it's coming.
I hope we get to hear what this charge is all about.

I still don’t understand why, now that he has a money source, that he doesn’t have to put up the entire 10%, rather than the discounted $35,000 and change?
