Subway! I'm a midwesterner, never once considered a subway TRAIN!! Not even when I googled "subway", and subway stations came up first! Nope, I had sandwich artistry on my brain.

Still, what would THAT receipt have been for???
You were right though, it was from a Subway restaurant.

ETA oops posted at the same time as someone else, sorry for the redundancy.

Hi, first time poster--really impressed by so many of the posters on here--but I just read the bulk of the search warrants and then found this regarding the Subway receipt dated 5/24 and the Merritt Pkwy. and wanted to share:

The new CT Service Plazas are located along CT I-95, CT RT-15 – Merritt Pkwy – and CT I-395, Northbound and Southbound. 23 state-of-the-art Service Plazas open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with each offering a variety of leading hospitality and retail brands – including McDonald’s, Dunkin, Subway and a touch of what makes Connecticut so unique.

Edited to add: I am fairly local and do not believe there is a Subway in New Canaan

Welcome karency, with your first post.:):):)
Hope to hear more from you.
Thanks for your local info.

Well, doubt he threw bleach on the walls. Did JD have bleach on hand? I don't have it in my own house. LE must have gotten what they needed without removing the floor. Whether the main blows were to carotid artery by slitting JD throat or bashing her on the head with a bat, FD likely did not understand the fine blood spray that would go everywhere unseen by the naked or unpracticed eye. The AW stated spatter caused by an external object. That is bludgeoning, IMO. I don't think paper towels are going to clean up everything. Blood spray can go everywhere. Even up to the ceiling. JD must have fought very hard for her life. I can't imagine that this was supposed to be anything more than strangulation. I don't believe FD wanted to get down and dirty with blood. MOO.
ETA: FD did not watch enough Dateline/48 Hours Mystery
I am curious that is she was bludgeoned what was used? I may have missed it, but has anyone recovered a bat or something like it? Also I found this info on blood stain patterns from Forensic Sciences Simplified (.org). They have a pdf you can download. Bloodstain Pattern Analysis: Introduction

Very possible that the nanny bought the kids subs at Subway for lunch after school that they ate at Welles before their drive to NYC. There are subway outlets in surrounding towns not far away.

Where was that from?
I added the page number- around of 457 - and the exhibit number# 81- I think- to the original post. Sorry- I am rushing through my posts and not being clear.

Long ago, a friend of a friend of a friend said the police thought Dulos hired someone- which never felt right - professional murderers leave the body and don't clean up. But now I think the rumors along those lines must have come from evidence of an accomplice in cleaning, and could be related to the mention of Fotis' Chevy on Thurton. Although except that it was after May 17 we don't know when it was seen.

Wow, I am so excited by this info. I can't even post straight!

Hope LE is working on an analysis of the spatter/splatter and stains like the amazing ones seen in true crime recreations.

If Fd didn't bring anything with him to use as a weapon, am sure there was an assortment of sports gear in the garage...bats, hockey sticks, lacrosse sticks, tennis rackets...

NP responds to the warrants:
“A preliminary review of the warrant leaves us relieved and saddened. We’re relieved that there is nothing we didn’t expect or have heard about; saddened because it’s obvious the state police really have no idea what became of Jennifer. This remains an open case in our view.”

What is this looney smoking? There’s tremendous amount of evidence that JD murder occured and blood/video evidence of his client’s involvement so the LE has a very good idea what became of JD, sadly.

NP’s strategy now is solely to confuse that 1 juror. He has no other defense. How’s that “gone girl” theory going NP?

FD is lucky he met his match. The soulless devil to defend him. Both salivating towards one thing only..money. If there was never Hell, the fire just got kindled in CT.
The Defense can say anything the want to out of court, however anything stated in court has to be backed up by proof. He could stand outside on a corner and claim FD has ESP, relatives within the royal family, and that he himself has special magical lawyer powers! If his mouth is moving NP is lying.

Aren't attorneys opening and closing statements also given quite a bit of latitude on facts....This has bothered me in the past.

If Jennifer's phone was located in her Suburban, did FD disable it? Or did they only recover her phone CASE there?

  • #652
They've known that this was a homicide investigation since at least 06/05/19...when the cell towers/Google maps' warrants were issued.

Thank you for summarizing what they wore. i dont know if anyone else here saw the image at the beginning of the case of MT and FD and the raptor. it was a still image on the news then it got wiped out. matches exactly what they wore and what was shown IMO
Wonder if they found the shoe that matches the bloody shoe print in the garage?

There was an iPhone model A1778 found there.

Many, many thanks....this will save my eyesight...I hope! :)
The document states "Jennifer's ex-husband." Is that correct? I thought they were in the process of going through a divorce, but it wasn't final.

I'm wondering if KM gave a DNA sample before his arrest?

FD knows what he's done and what he didn't do.

He had HELP.

This changes everything.

Who was at the crime scene? How many people were in on the initial clean up? Who was wearing the Chuck Taylor converse shoes? Who was driving the Fore Suburban? Was a body transported in the Fore Suburban? No body in the Tacoma? Just bloody trash bags? Maybe a backpack. We know there was a bike. If the body went one way, and FD went another way, what was FD doing all afternoon at 80MS?

All I can say is I sure hope they've got KM under suicide watch. He checks out, he better leave a detailed confession behind.

Leading up to this all, as someone who experienced a mere taste of DV, it breaks my heart that JF felt like SHE was somehow inadequate. Money, beautiful houses, her precious babies, and FD couldn't let her enjoy any of it. How many houses did they live in? Constantly moving, constantly asking for money, constantly making her feel like she was letting him down. Yet, the whole time, HE was the inadequate one. Unfaithful, dishonest, unreasonable, unfair. Impossible to please. Alternately charming and scary and probably no way to predict which persona he'd pick.

I really wish they could charge him retroactively for every single episode of unhappiness or fear he caused JF.

At trial I hope her journal will speak for her.

But in the meantime, what would it take to get FD jailed without bail? It's an assault on decency that he's sharing our oxygen.

You are soright-Jennifer was everything, contributed everything-she was everything but the sperm cells in that family. She did everything, paid for everything, did 100% of the worrying for the family. She took care of all of the family business, like the boiler, and the move to 4JX, and his only contribution was...half of the DNA that created those 5 children. Not sure what he is so self confident about.

Probably because he has skated by until now...but things are changing!

FDs landline must still be in JDs name
Did this happen around the time Pattis said FD got a bill from JDs medical provider

eta
The so-called smoking gun is a billing record sent to Fotis Dulos that shows his estranged wife received “reproductive” services at a New York medical facility on July 7 — more than a month after she disappeared.

“If Ms. Dulos did, as the bill suggests, receive medical services on July 7, 2019, she is obviously alive, if not necessarily well,” Pattis wrote in a motion filed Friday at Stamford Superior Court.
Attorney: Billing records prove Jennifer Dulos could still be alive

In this 6/21/19 report NP stated
"The defense attorney says his client received a $14,000 medical bill in April for blood work Jennifer had completed, although he doesn't know what the testing is for or what ailment his ex-wife may have been suffering from."
Exclusive: Lawyer Norm Pattis says client Fotis Dulos' estranged and missing wife has a 'troubled past'

Then in August we saw NP try and fail to get JD's medical records.

In September NP filed a nearly identical motion which is still pending. AFAIK

Now NP is filing his third motion to get JD's medical records stating that
"his client recently received a statement from Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield reflecting a balance due to the insurer.

Pattis said the medical provider sent the bill to Anthem on Aug. 16 for Jennifer Dulos’ medical visit on July 7."
Attorney: Billing records prove Jennifer Dulos could still be alive

IMO this balance due is simply because FD isn't paying. There is no way JD attended a medical visit on 7/7/19 IMO
