MOO. Something went wrong with their plan other than not accounting for cameras and blew their timelines.
I think it was that she fought and that his violence in response created a bloody scene.
Kids should be proud. 100lb woman fought for her life which was to be with them.
She sure did and I so feel for her and the terror she must've felt. I always thought she was fighting against an adversary she knew well, but the LE suggestions that there were more than one involved in the actual crime really grip my heart. She must have been so terrified and overwhelmed. Good bless her soul.

Perfect! Just add cargo shorts. :p
Agree!

Petite Prince moniker for Fd probably should be changed to Petite Peter Pan!

Looks like an outfit that Fd might have been wearing while riding the French bike down Weed Street on his way to murder JFd too!

PS Would make a great WS avatar!

Also anyone notice that the location of the accident on 5/17 with MT driving is the same place (I-84 in Tolland) where Mawhinney was arrested? Sheer coincidence? (35 minutes from 4JC)
Wow!!!

What is the Tolland connection ?!?! It’s not anywhere near Farmington and not on the way to anywhere really that MT would need to go. Kind of in the boonies as they say.

Hi everyone, long time lurker and first time poster...
Regarding the call appearing to be from JD's number on 7/08, one possible explanation is phone number spoofing/ Caller ID spoofing. This is a very common technique used by phone scammers, and I have received similar scam calls where the caller ID number was one digit off from my own CT number. It could just be an unfortunate coincidence, but still worth looking into to find the source of the call.

Welcome and so glad you are posting now! I often get spoofing calls but it just shows a number with similar area code and numerically close to my own number. The person who received this call for JD's number indicated that the caller ID read Jennifer Dulos.

Forgive me if this is discussed- but WTF

[edited to add words to create full sentences]

On about page 457 there is a notation that exhibit 81 removed per warrant from 69 Wells was a subway receipt dated 5/24? What time? What Subway location?

Could be boring if LA picked up Subway for herself or the kids that day or some such banal explanation. But it seems a potentially case building bombshell.

I see that there were additional visuals of Jennifer's car - more than one neighbor and the school busses. There must be shots of cyclists, etc.

I see the plural used referring to whomever was cleaning the Wells Lane crime scene.

The Subway receipt makes me think of all the questions to MT about what time FD showed up for lunch at home that day. Maybe there's video of somebody picking up lunch that matches the time on the receipt. Wishful thinking, maybe.

On page 51, we see another former Fore group employee's name mentioned:
owner of Backblaze account backup service: [email protected]
Possible that the account was created in this name during time of employment, but does this individual still have access to these backup accounts? Possible involvement?
Same individual appeared on first televised interview with FD, sitting at 4JC, lamenting the terrible thing that had happened and saying he was close with all the family.
YES! I have been waiting for a LONG time to see when GV would enter the fray here. Guess he or his email account is here now!

FD knows what he's done and what he didn't do.

He had HELP.

This changes everything.

Who was at the crime scene? How many people were in on the initial clean up? Who was wearing the Chuck Taylor converse shoes? Who was driving the Fore Suburban? Was a body transported in the Fore Suburban? No body in the Tacoma? Just bloody trash bags? Maybe a backpack. We know there was a bike. If the body went one way, and FD went another way, what was FD doing all afternoon at 80MS?

All I can say is I sure hope they've got KM under suicide watch. He checks out, he better leave a detailed confession behind.

Leading up to this all, as someone who experienced a mere taste of DV, it breaks my heart that JF felt like SHE was somehow inadequate. Money, beautiful houses, her precious babies, and FD couldn't let her enjoy any of it. How many houses did they live in? Constantly moving, constantly asking for money, constantly making her feel like she was letting him down. Yet, the whole time, HE was the inadequate one. Unfaithful, dishonest, unreasonable, unfair. Impossible to please. Alternately charming and scary and probably no way to predict which persona he'd pick.

I really wish they could charge him retroactively for every single episode of unhappiness or fear he caused JF.

At trial I hope her journal will speak for her.

But in the meantime, what would it take to get FD jailed without bail? It's an assault on decency that he's sharing our oxygen.

JMO JMO JMO

Every time they moved, was an opportunity to take money. We need to upgrade this, or change out that...double or tripling the cost, and pocketing the difference.

Thanks for this addition @afitzy -- I'd not seen it before and it was an excellent analysis. Having lived through the Berreth case, I'm confident for a conviction of this no-body murder allegation but this video is worth 9 minutes of your time.
I like the point about FD's defense team getting exhausted from constantly "swatting flies," I.e., trying to counter the barracks of evidence .... and the jury getting similarly exhausted trying to imagine that the plausibility of so many cockimaney alibis. IMO

I also wonder this. He was arrested at exit 68 on I-84, the Tolland CT exit but it’s unclear if he was pulled over on the highway or after having exited. Only major thing off exit 68 is University of CT, otherwise it’s somewhat rural (for CT). If he kept going on 84 he’d end up pretty soon in MA.

To his cousin’s house. The forensic expert guy.

I'm kind of confused about this whole aspect of things. She was receiving his voice mails? Was he using this number to plan or scheme his crimes and LE had no idea because it was showing up on her landline?
@Elliot_Alderson, read it all quickly but my take was that she was assigned Fd old phone number and that the provider didn't wipe the old voicemails on the acct before transferring the number to the new user. Ooopppsss....YIKES! I guess it makes sense to wipe your voicemails before you close your account!

Hi, first time poster--really impressed by so many of the posters on here--but I just read the bulk of the search warrants and then found this regarding the Subway receipt dated 5/24 and the Merritt Pkwy. and wanted to share:

The new CT Service Plazas are located along CT I-95, CT RT-15 – Merritt Pkwy – and CT I-395, Northbound and Southbound. 23 state-of-the-art Service Plazas open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week with each offering a variety of leading hospitality and retail brands – including McDonald’s, Dunkin, Subway and a touch of what makes Connecticut so unique.

Edited to add: I am fairly local and do not believe there is a Subway in New Canaan
Welcome!

NC Subway is closed.

Here is link to map from Subway corporate site to the locations in the area (there are many and they are on i95 rest stops in Darien in both directions N and S I believe):

  • More than 400 pages of unsealed search warrants were released on Wednesday
  • Police found large amount of Jennifer's blood in her garage in New Canaan
  • It was on trash cans, on the floor, on her car door and someone had tried to clean it up
  • They also found traces of blood on a tablet and phone in her master bedroom
  • Her cell phone was recovered from her Chevrolet Suburban but she was not
  • Police say the phone was active in the spot where the car was found for 40 minutes before being disconnected
  • Three minutes after that, Fotis Dulos re-emerged on surveillance footage entering a road in a different car
  • Interviews with their nanny about how he 'chased her through the house' and 'tried to run her over' are also included
  • Dulos and his girlfriend Michelle deny murder; they are both awaiting trial
  • Hundreds of pages of search warrants are unsealed in Fotis Dulos case | Daily Mail Online

The warrant states on page 119, # 13 (and I believe I saw it elsewhere), that "it is highly likely that multiple individuals were involved in the crime and in ensuing clean up."

Maybe.. the altered License Plates found in gutter were not used on the Tacoma like we thought .
Instead , they were used on a car that either MT or KM were driving .

As always...Thank you for posting this and keeping us informed about the legal details of this case. AND, 469 PAGES...Wowser! [/QUOT
Page 248:

Now we know what FD was wearing in the surveillance videos. Warrant states they are looking for:

black cap with white emblem on front
white t-shirt with circular black pattern (as seen in surveillance images-[crossed out: attached to the affadavit]
Converse Chuck Taylor sneakers

HEY: Was MT wearing Converse Chuck Taylor sneakers at some point, maybe on 5/31 when arrested? I thought I saw this but haven't gone back to check.

This is also good news, that the surveillance video is so good they can see the white emblem on the cap and the circular pattern on the t-shirt. Must have good facial and other recognition too, not going to get out of this one. (does not say which surveillance- likely Albany since that is high res. Thurnton Drive surveillance isn't as good resolution, can't see if cargo box is on top of FD Suburban for example, but can see consistency with MT crash damage)

Looks like Converse to me...moo

That could have been, but there were still 80 or so message for FD!

I believe these are two different situations-- one where a CT resident had a new phone installed in 2018, then on 9/23/19 got a call from Paypal asking for FD. She then realized that her phone with that number ( which used to belong to FD) had accumulated ~80 voicemails meant for him since her installation in 2018.

The other situation was 07/08, where a different CT resident got a call with the caller ID "Jennifer Dulos" to her landline. The caller ID number was just one digit off from the CT resident's own number, which is why I believe it could be an unrelated case of caller ID spoofing. Many phone networks provide ID names based on the number that is calling, so the recipient's network may have seen the incoming call as being registered to JD and presented that information.
