FD most likely wasn’t in the bedroom the night before the murder or if he was it was for a short period only. MT supposedly would know that the person she sleeps with every night was either in their bed or not. But given that it’s MT maybe not? Idk. Apparently this is an impossible question for MT to answer! I’m calling it the simple impossible question! Was your lover sleeping in bed next to you on the night before the murder? Yes or No?
MT has lied about this question and then “Lied about lying” about this issue three or 4 times iirc.
It’s impt to know where FD was as it was the night before the murder and he was the murderer. Knowing his location is impt but also knowing what MT knew about where he was is super impt too.
Was anyone convinced after listening to all the MT lies that she didn’t know where FD was the night before the murder? Imo she knew as it was all of their plan.
The idea that she is trying to use her daughter as her alibi here when her daughter isn’t testifying (she is away skiing) is disgusting and instead has her counsel bring up bogus rain data maps in the wrong time zone which to use the Atty McGuinnis phrase, “bush league” and I will add my two cents to say simply ineffective! TP waved a red flag in his cross time testimony which is his favourite way to Introduce testimony into the trial that should be coming from the client he cannot put on the stand. To be noted is that Counsel testimony is in no rule book I’ve ever read! Judge R is imo is inconsistent and imo also improperly dealing with the issue of TP on cross testimony as it’s only been called out once and it’s been a pathetic factor in this trial now for 11 days!
I’m still seething that Judge R did zero about striking all references to the discredited dr Herman report which we learned yesterday MT never read and only heard about from FD! Hearsay was never introduced and the nonsense was even spouted by TP which is more hearsay about a report none of them had seen and Judge R did zero! Maddening and frankly plain wrong imo!
Anyway, back to the murder.
To get to NC very early (in advance of probably 6am) he would have had to leave Farmington much earlier idk say 4am to give a comfortable cushion of some sort for traffic and driving a broken down old truck. Trip is 60-65 miles. He also needed time to pack up and prepare so the speculation has long been that he either spent the night at 80ms or went there very early in the am to pack up.
Defence in a profoundly baffling and bumbling move in cross examination testimony by TP is trying to take MT out of the bedroom and to her daughter on a different floor so it cant be argued that she knew FD wasn’t there and this would tie to her involvement in the murder.
The hilarious thing is that Defence made their argument in cross for MT (not permitted but judge allowed it) leaving to go to her daughter based on a phone call (not sure how this is verified as MT cell phone was tossed by Judge R) using a rain map based on CST and not EST which
@Gardenista here on WS
brilliantly discovered and posted about last night after trial and so would make the timeline presented by TP one hour off vs the time allegedly on MT phone. So, it appears we have more lies on top of lies from the Defence! TP also testified in cross that he had a video from the ski pond (no time stamp verification that I saw btw?) showing rain at the time. No verification of thunder or lightening. I hope the State fixes both these errors in redirect pronto!
